I am NOT a converse fan because they don't have an "arch support" and I'm as flat footed as anything. I AM a huge fan of Converse for their style however. They just look really cool. These sneakers/high-tops in particular are very cool and rugged. I did have to put arch insole in them for proper support. They look very cool. And, they are very comfortable (with insoles)!

The shoes not only fit great (as well as a normal Hi Top Chuck Taylors) but also look great. I found that the size fits the same as most Converse for me. Better though is that these are great for walking in muddy, wet, and cold places as they keep heat in better and moisture out. I love the shoes and for the price they are a pretty good deal.

I ordered a size 13, I usually wear a 12 in Converse (13 in other brands). These fit great. They are warm, comfortable and all around tough shoes that look good too. I highly recommend them.

Bought these for my 13 year old grandson for Christmas and he LOVES them. He says they are really comfortable & he likes the comfy cozy lining!

I am a huge fan of Chuck Taylor's and own several pairs. These are my favorite pair. They are extremely comfortable and keep my feet warm. I would highly recommend these to anyone.

I love my Converse! But I wish they had it in a wider selection. It was a bit narrow and tight in the front. I usually wear size 7 in women's but I ordered size 7 1/2 because of the lining.

Solid shows, that look and feel awesome. They run a little big, but nothing too crazy, especially since you probably will be wearing winter sock with these shoes!

These shoes are great. My teenage sons refuse to wear boots to school in the winter, so these work for the wet winter and spring weather. They love them.

Warm, comfortable, and like walking on a cozy cloud even in a cold drizzling rain. I bought a 1/2 size up since the lining is very fluffy and it made the extra room I needed for thick socks.

Love this shoe. A little tight on my right foot near the baby toe but wearing socks seems to have solved the issue. Otherwise very comfortable and stylish shoe.

I bought these for my son and he loved them. Especially the fuzzy part on the inside. They look nice, yet casual too.

I am a female and live in the rainy northwest and needed a weather resistant sneaker/boot. Zappos sent a lot of boxes! I tried Uggs, Vans and other great brands. This shoe is very comfortable, warm and under my budget! I am a big converse fan and wear a size 7 almost always. I needed to go up a half size (7.5) with the city hiker as my toes were cramped with the 7. They are a bit bulky for converse (thus 4 stars for style) due to the fur inside and extra tread but if you want a stylish sneaker for winter this is it! I wasn't sure about the look and use of the laces, they tend to untie easily, but I just switched to white for a classic converse look.

I ordered these in 9.5. My other converse are both 9.5, leather high tops and canvas lows. In Nike I wear a 10.5 usually. Love these! Warm for the New England fall, not sure I'll wear these when it's gets really cold I think my Uggs would be warmer. Super comfortable even though I sometimes have issues without arch support. These are deep enough that I could put my Dr Scholls in if it gets to be a bother.

Very comfortable. I thought I needed arch supports but they do not stick (maybe a different kind would work, but the fleece inside takes up a half size so you will have to order a full size up to add anything) so am wearing without and they are still great.

These are killer kicks! I get at least one compliment every time I wear these. They have a simple timeless look that never goes out of style. I dig these shoes.

I bought these shoes for my husband as a Christmas gift. He seems happy with their comfort, he has worn them non stop. I love their stylish look! They seem more substantial than the typical Converse. They look like they can withstand some wear and tear. These shoes can keep us both happy. He mentioned that he has had numerous compliments on his shoes at work. We are both very pleased.

Very nice sneaker, great alternative to a winter hiker. Got these for my 15 year old son for Christmas and he loves them! Ordered a full size up as recommended in other reviews and they fit perfectly.

Chucks usually run big, but I found these to run small, due to the thick wool lining. I wear a 9 and usually order Chucks in 8.5, but I could barely get the 8.5 on with these. Had to return them & get size 9.5.

This is another great product from Converse. It is stylish and keps my feet warm. I will buy another pair if they make it in more colors.

Awesome shoe, fits the same as traditional Chucks. The fleece lining is surprisingly warm and soft, and the leather upper keeps your feet dry. I wouldn't go hike through the snow in them, but they're great for city sidewalks. I live in Chicago, and these have quickly become my daily driver for the winter!

These are so cool! The perfect tread for rain and snow but really comfortable too. I love the colors and have had a lot of compliments on them. These are sturdy enough to hike but comfortable enough to wear all day at work.

I bought these for my husband because he loves Converse but the traditional Converse just don't hold up in winter. These were perfect. You get the same look, but they are made with completely different material and have more tread on the bottom.

Bought these for my fiance for Christmas and he loved them. I wen't by some people's claim that there was a size issue and ordered a half size up only to have to re-order because his original size was perfect. If you love wearing converse then the size is true and he says they are very warm.

The shoe has a nice rugged look. Still gives an All Star Classic look. Very stylish.

Very practical, functional and cute shoe. I ordered my regular size, these do run a bit narrow so order up if you want to wear thick socks. I bought these hoping to wear them for my part-time server job and they are great! Spills just wipe off the high-quality rubbery synthetic upper and the grip is very good on slick tile - surprisingly good! I put an insole in because, like all Chucks these basically have no support, and we're good to go. Just a bit pinch-y in the toe area if I try to work a shift that's over 8 hours.
