Snowshoes for 3 hours in -1 degree weather. My boots stayed dry and the wind did not penetrate through the gaiters.

The size chart refers to shoe size but I wear a 9 and these were much too wide for my calf in a size medium.

These have saved my butt already a few times! With mud, snow, and rain, my ankles, pants, and shoes have stayed dry hiking and trail running. Love these things!

I am 5'3", 150 lbs. and these gaiters fit perfectly. They keep the snow out of my boots while snowshoeing. I don't even know that I have them on.

I have taken them snowshoeing in heavy snow and they worked great.

Haven't used on muddy trails yet, but have on snow. Kept snow out of my hiking boots. Also doesn't hurt that they come in a nice color, other than black.

I am a size 9 shoe and bought a medium - they JUST fit. If you have size 10 shoe, I'd definitely order a large. The gators are high quality and I really like them.

I used these for snowshoeing over my waterproof hikers. Awesome fit and kept every bit of snow out of my shoe.

I use them for hiking in snow along with my waterproof boots and there's no need for "winter boots"

So far this seems like a nice mix of shaving off a little weight but maintaining the functionality of a croc gaiter. Time will tell. The height is shorter, so I'm relying on the stiffness of the vertical velcro closure to keep the gaiters in position.

I used these gaiters on an ascent of Mt St Helens. They are rock solid. I really appreciated how easy they were to put on and take off. They are comforatble and versitle. You won't be disappointed.

I use these gaiters for back country hikes and rainy weather in the woods of GA. They are great for keeping debris out of my boots as well as keeping my boots dry during downpours. I got the S and they fit great over Altra Lone Peak Mids and also Salomon hiking boots both size 7.5. I do get the comment asking if I'm headed to a rave with these though.

OR gaiters are the industry standard for many good reasons. Put simply, they set the bar.

I'm 5'6" and wear size 8 hiking boot. These gaiters work great with my XC ski and hiking boots; they stay in place at the top and bottom; easy on/off.
