I wasn't sure that a coat this light weight would keep me warm, and was happily surprised when it worked great. Keeps out the cold and the color makes it easy to spot me in crowds. The zipper initially offered some challenges, but after using it for a few days it stopped being an issue.

I love the fit of this coat. It is sized perfectly, comfy and easy to move in with layers and even a heavy winter sweater. Length is perfect and the double zipper makes driving or sitting easier and more comfy. However- it is NOT a warm coat. I want it to have some puffy warmth... but it doesn't. It is flat, thin, and relies on reflective heat dots on the front and back. This means the sides and sleeves do not have radiant heat.... and if you are sitting in a cold car, you are a popsicle. If you are shoveling snow you will make enough heat to be comfy. I did try the next level up, that coat was delightfully warm, but the fit was tight and forget moving your shoulders ... it was like being a sausage! Fit should not vary that much among styles! Combine this fit and more warmth and it would be perfect!!!

Size and fit okay but stylewise not the most stylish jacket I've owned. Returning it only because it will not be warm enough.

Love love this coat! I have the Navy and the color is beautiful! The only thing I would say is order a size up if you want to wear thick sweaters under and be comfortable. I wear a size xl and I went with 1x. It is warm and I live in MN.

I was not sure if I would like this coat. I love it. I decided to get a longer coat this time and find I am much warmer. What I like about this coat is that it is lightweight but really warm. The cuffs on the sleeves also help to keep me warm by not letting cold air in . All around excellent coat and reasonably priced.

My friend had one and it looked great so I tried it out. The size is spot on, love the wrist covers to keep cold wind out and they'll help when putting on gloves. My only issue is the front zipper. It's got two pulls, one in each direction so it's a bit awkward to zip till you get used to. Not difficult, just awkward.

I purchased this coat for our cold Missouri winters. I haven't bought a coat in years, so this was a difficult process for me. I liked the longer look of this one because I could wear with leggings or jeans, and it would still look good. I normally wear a 2X, but they only had 3X in stock - so that's what I ordered. I figured I could throw on a sweater underneath if it was too big and be okay. The 3X is a tad big, but if I had ordered the 2X I feel it would have been too tight. I like the movement I get in the 3X, and the fact that I can layer up underneath if needed. The Omni-Heat is really neat! It has been in the single digits & teens here lately, and I feel like this feature really helps keep the warmth in. The shape of this coat is so very flattering! I love the way it looks! My only complaint would be the hood. This jacket is very, VERY thin. This goes for the hood as well. It does not stay up on windy days, even with the jacket zipped all the way up to the top. I usually wear a hat, so this isn't a deal breaker for me - but I do wish it had a little bit of weight to it so it would stay in place when I wanted to use it. All in all, this is a great jacket, and I got it for under $100 on sale. I am extremely pleased with my purchase!

This surprisingly light down coat is great for winter weather from the low 40s to below zero. I have had this version of Columbia coat since I moved to Michigan 4 years ago. I was miserable before I found it. It shields you from the brutal cold, but is also comfortable to wear inside, like when shopping. It cuts the wind and holds your warmth in. This coat with added layers on real cold days is all I need. It is attractive on and the coat that many women in the Ann Abor area wear.

my new Mighty Light Hooded jacket has everything you could want in a jacket! I love that it is lightweight, has a dual zipper (I can unzip the bottom if I need to for comfort when I am sitting/driving), it is super warm and I love the Plum color!!!!! It's actually warmer than my wool coat!

The jacket is awesome! It keeps me warm in the colder Midwest area, and I love that it's so lightweight! I've had many coats over the years, and have already gotten so many compliments on the coat since purchasing it! It's versatile and comfortable!!

I am super happy that I ordered this coat! It is great at keeping the wind out and even rain. I am especially attached to the three pockets. They are lined with fleece to be cozy and all three have zippers so I never have to worry about losing my phone or keys. I am a 6 foot tall woman and have a very hard time finding women's coats that have long enough sleeves. These sleeves fit perfectly and even have cozy cuffs to keep my wrists extra warm! I bought a size larger to be able to wear bigger sweaters underneath and it's just right! Love the light feel of this coat!

I was looking for a new jacket that was long and warm but not a heavy duty jacket. This jacket is great. It's so light and doesn't feel big, bulky or heavy. It allows me to move around and the omni heat keeps me warm. Would definitely buy again.

This is a lovely coat. The fit is great, so incredibly light weight but very warm. The astral color is beautiful and all colors go with it. It is also very functional, because it is so thin yet warm there is no reason to wear bulky layers beneath.

I originally bought this as a travel coat because it was not bulky. I just bought a spare because I never want to have a winter without this coat. Wet, cold and windy northern winters are survivable with the Mighty Lite. My college daughter who is super picky had to be convinced but now only wears this coat. As a hockey Mom, I'm starting to see more and more of these at the rink. I love the warmth and lack of bulk. When running errands and in and out of cars I'm never too cold or feeling like I'm overheating. The perfect winter coat. Thanks Columbia!!!

This is my second jacket, loved my black one so I ordered a gray one for something different, lightweight, but extremely warm, you won't be disappointed.

I did size up in this one, glad I did. It's lightweight, yet warm and comfortable fit, like the 2 way zip feature, not a bulky coat another plus. Dark plum is a great color.

I love this coat! I had to find a new one and it was very puffy, but warm. This one is fabulous as it's just as warm, but not puffy at all. It's great in the rain and I can't wait for the snow. I am so grateful to have made the choice to own this one!

I had a long north face that's zipper had failed and was looking worn out. When I stumbled across this coat I knew I needed it. It is warm but not stifling, movable and fashionable. I continue to get compliments on its style. Definitely worth the money. So thankful columbia also runs in plus sizes, I was able to order a larger size and get a little more hip room. All and all a great quality purchase!

Love how light weight and warm it is

I tried my daughters coat on over a year ago and fell in love with it. My husband bought this for me for my birthday. I hate wearing coats because of the bulkiness while driving. This coat is perfect. Lightweight but extremely warm. My husband is now jealous of my coat...lol!
