This is a great coat! It looks nice and is so cozy for walking my dog. Love the length for added warmth.

Great jacket, this is my second one! I love the zipper quality and the inside pockets. The length is also perfect for city winters.

A very nice coat - although the exterior is not as water resistant or tough as I'd like. I live in the Pacific Northwest where it does not snow much, but is very wet. I appreciate the quality of the coat, and how warm it is. I personally have a hard time keeping warm in the wet/cold and this does a great job - plus it comes down to my knees which is helpful to keep my thighs dry and warm without getting in the way.The hood is AWESOME. It's a little large but structured so it's almost like using an umbrella - great for rain without having to really rearrange my hair at all. It would easily fit over a hat.

The coat is very well made and should last for a very long time. The hem design is nice making for a more feminine look. It fits my wife well and is very warm.The cuffs fit nice and snug and you can tell there was attention to quality and detail that you don't find in coats from Eddie Bauer and other outfitters.I bought my wife the burgundy colored coat, but its more of a merlot color than say a darker shade of red, so she decided on the navy blue color of this same coat that purchased at a store.

The perfect coat for the cold! The length is perfect for chilly windy weather and even sitting down (for me, cold bleachers at my kid's outdoor sporting game)!

Tried so many insulated long jackets that dont feel right, look big and bulky and have no true insulation. This one is great and its in Petite size!!! The best! Would be it again. Perfect length for 51 which hits below the knee but not too long and very nice quality

I realized this winter -- a really cold one in New England -- that my warmest winter clothing needed refreshing/replaced. The Marmot Women's Strollbridge Parka was 10 years old and pretty tired. I chose the Montreaux because of its longer profile and down fill. Love it. It is a good choice anyone, I think. It is stylishly flattering too. Thanks Marmot.

The style and fit is great but the sleeves seem just a tad short. It's warm but I wouldn't say it fits in the warmest category for Midwest winters. But I'm always cold so if I don't return it, I'll plan to wear layers under it as needed.

TL;DR: I bought this coat in 2017. Amazingly warm coat. In 2025 the zipper failed. Marmot sent a replacement. It is a completely inadequate coat with no insulation. I bought this coat in 2017 after a LOT of research. I was making a big investment and wanted something that was going to be warm for cold Michigan winters and last me a long time. At the time, the coat got great independent ratings and reviews. I loved everything about this coat - the hood, cinch strings, fleece lining, pockets, fit and style and I was always very warm!! I wore it all the time, in the coldest of temps and never once was cold. I couldnt be more happy with it. With Marmots excellent customer service snd warranty, I turned into a life-long brand loyalist. Winter 2024-2025 the zipper failed. Marmot customer service was amazing and responsive and while I asked for a repair, they sent a replacement coat. I was thrilled!! The new coat arrived (same style and size, different color) and I couldnt be more disappointed. I still love all the features, style, fit, color. But there hardly any insulation. In spots, there is essentially nothing between the two thin pieces of nylon fabric. I could get better protection from a sweatshirt and it does nothing to protect from the cold. The wind cuts right through - which was never my experience with my original coat. The exterior fabric also feels very fragile and exceptionally thin. To make sure I wasnt imagining things, I folded both my coats in the same way to compare. You can see the difference - the blue one is the one they sent me in 2025. There is hardly any down in it. Marmot - please put the insulation back into your coats. I wish I could just get my old coat fixed. Now I have a new and old coat that are both unusable. Im now shopping for a new coat from a different brand. Save your money and dont get this coat. It sadly is no longer worth the premium price.

Love the coat! Its my new go-to for cold weather. Its warm and comfortable and a little longer than other coats, hits right above the knee. I ordered a size larger since it is more fitted (I usually wear a small but sized up to medium).

I looooove it. Im 50 slim and bought an XS Its so cozy. I have 2 marmot jackets both very warm and nice.

I am normally a size small, but I'm 5'2". This coat is a little too short for very cold days. Also, while the faux fur collar does zip off (nice feature), it's quite ratty looking for such a good brand. It also fills a little too puffed up for me - I'm small.

Montreaux coat fits well (x-lg) and looks nice - not too bulky or puffy. However, the coat is not as warm as I expected. I wore a cotton turtle neck shirt and a wool sweater and the coat on top but still felt cold. Hood is way too big but can be pushed back and worn over a hat.

Got last year's version of the Montreaux coat at a GREAT discount and my daughter loves this coat. She wanted a long warm coat for outdoor recess with her students and this fits the bill perfectly.

The coat is exactly what I wanted for my wife. The sizing was perfect.

True to size, high quality and warm! Our first winter trip post Christmas to NYC and this trench was the perfect coat.

I like this coat, except for the zipper. It's warm and snug, like wearing a duvet. The zipper is flimsy and finicky. I bought it last January, and the following January the zipper broke. So the coat lasted one winter. Other than that, it's a great coat.

Very warm, great coat. My only complaint is that the black has a blue tint to it, its not a true black. Zipper also can be a little finicky. If you're short, this coat will be long, it is almost at the middle of my calf.
