Super comfy and the fit is good. One shoe does feel like it slides to the side a bit but maybe that's my foot? Super light weight.

I have wide feet, and I took the chance these would stretch a bit after a few days because they are defintely cut wide and are made from soft leather. After wearing them for a few days, I think they'll be great. Beware that there is arch support, which also takes a while to break in if your fit doesn't slide forward far enough right away. Great bouncy support.

I wanted to love this shoe but it only accentuated the widest part of my foot (extra bone next to pinky toe). Had I taken more time to look at the pics, I would have realized before ordering. I do love the comfort of the footbed and the construction was great quality.

These were cute. The footbed was super comfortable, but the upper leather portion of the sandal was too roomy and my foot "sloshed" around. So back they go.

I bought these because I couldn't order an out of stock out of production sandal I love. These are just OK but I don't like the clunky look of them on me, also I feel like the footbed, while comfortable, dry my feet out even though I apply foot lotion every day.

My feet are true 9.5M, but 10 fits better because I need more room in the toe box. I wear 40/41 euro sandals. Taos's own fit chart said a 10-10.5 was the equivalent of a 41. Imagine my surprise when the 10 was stamped 40. The toe post is set back further on the sole than similar style sandals I own, so my heel hung a tad over the end of he sandal. This left a ridiculous amount of exposed sole at the front of the sandal. (My toes are not short either.) And my pinkie toes hung a bit off the edges. So I crossed my fingers and ordered an 11. The 11's are stamped 42. At least my heel and pinkie toes are on the sandal. Still a lot of exposed sole in front, but will work. I wanted a style like this because I'm having vein surgery and will be able to wear open toe compression stockings easily with these. I hope the leather doesn't stretch too much. The arch support is good for my high arches.

I ordered an 8 (Eur 39) and it was too loose and a bit too long. I returned it and ordered the 7 (Eur 38) hoping it would fit because I have Reikers in a 38 and they fit perfectly. But that was too short. It is very disappointing because the 8 was very comfortable except for being too loose and too long. I have a low arch and wear either a 7½ or an 8 depending on the style and brand.

These sandals are gorgeous! Fabulously soft leather with a silky manmade footbed liner and nice bendy, flexible soles. They look fantastic! However, on my size 8 feet they felt just a bit too short and they were also too narrow - my little toe wanted to hang over the side of the footbed and my heel didn't feel as if it was being properly 'cupped' at the back. But I love them so much I'm going to size up and see what happens then. Watch this space!

These are very cute and I love Taos, but my heel slides off of these in the back. I regretfully am returning them.

After reading the other review I was hoping these shoes would feel great for an upcoming trip to Europe. The right shoes feels pretty good, but the left shoe feels like my foot is sliding inwards. Not sure if something is wrong with pair, but they are going back anyways. I am returning them and getting another pair of Born Anthie - these are super comfy right out of the box.

Loved these shoes but am returning. I wear a size 10 and need a smidgen more length...not the next size up (11). It seems like the other size 10 reviews seemed to indicate the same thing. I always wear a 10 so this is very unusual for me.

These are so cute, but they have to go back because they are too narrow. It's not the leather part that is too narrow, but rather the bed of the shoe. My little toe was hanging off. I do not have wide feet and have not had problems like this with other shoes (in fact it's sometimes the opposite).

These shoes are VERY comfortable but felt a half size too small. Returning 10s for 11s and hope they work. The light gold leather is beautiful.

I agree with the last reviewer...they did feel wide and would get even wider with wear as the leather will stretch. They felt very loose and floppy. Love the style and initial comfort but a stroll around the living room, they didn't feel snug enough. Maybe my feet are too narrow for Taos.

I am on a mission to find a cute comfortable pair of black sandals with arch support!! I was hoping this was it, it wasn't!!! I have plantar fasciitis and these are way to squishy in the sole and have minimal arch support at best. How disappointing for the price, going back!

Sadly a no-go, but it's me, not the shoe I'm sure. The 2-star rating is no reflection of the quality of the shoe, only how it works for me. High quality, well-made, and very soft yet supportive footbed. But note: If you have high arches, and/or a high instep like myself, these may not work. I was hopeful that the large strap of material over the whole foot would not be a problem, but it was. Just too tight, to hard to get into, felt like it may cause pain if worn too long. Although, the leather is super-soft, and this may be the type of shoe to stretch out with wear. But if more than just a little tight, I wouldn't risk it for the price. By the way, I do not have a wide foot, just the high arch and instep, so the narrow rating from me is due to having a high arch/instep moreso than actual "width" if that makes sense. These are my mom's favorite shoes, hence why I tried them. But her foot is nowhere near as high on top as mine, hope that helps.

So disappointed. I love the look of these shoes. The 10 was just a hair too short for my feet, so I went for an 11 which is a bit too big, but comfortable enough. But the leather upper is very soft, and immediately stretched way out. It's very awkward to walk in them now - they flop around, and create strain in my ankles and achilles because of the weird way I have to grip them to keep them on my feet. I wrote to the company and the asked for details, but have offered no assistance. (I bought them from a local store, not Zappos, so can't return them.) On the plus side, the footbed is very comfortable for someone with assorted foot issues - the arch support is decent, not superb. (My Chaco's flip flops have better support, but they are not as dressy as these.)
