Awesome sandals. Comfy right out of the box. I walked a whole day in them without any foot soreness. Te footbed does not make your feet hot and the overall shape is flattering.

I am getting ready to purchase my third pair of these sandals. I bought my first pair about a year ago and just noticed that I did not post a review for either pair. These are great sandals. They are comfortable, true to size and they hold onto your feet unlike any other sandals that I have purchased. I get compliments whenever I wear them but especially in the blue metallic color that is available.

Comfortable from day 1. The shoes do cover more of your foot than other types of sandals so if you are prone to "sweaty feet" these might not be for you. I have not had that problem.

I absolutely love these sandals. They're extremely comfortable and stylish. I've gotten many compliments on them. Have several pair in different colors.

Rec'd these sandals, they are supple and soooo soft - I immediately wore them on a two week cruise w/o any breaking in time. Very comfy and seem to have good support as well. Very happy with these sandals. Love the way they look too, great for casual or dressy.

This is the second Taos sandal that I've purchased in this style. The first pair was a metallic blue and I received so many compliments from people I didn't know I had to buy another pair in black. They are super comfortable and no worries about "walking out of your sandal." They are truly glove soft and worth every dollar. I'm rating there as 5 stars for arch support as I've never tried on a sandal that was truly a 5 star.

I was pleasantly surprised with these slides, no problems getting used to and the leather is extremely soft, all around very comfortable and I usually wear inserts in my tennis shoes for my knee pain, I can go pretty long with these without any trouble. Very nice shoe.

These are so comfortable. This is my second pair. And, the VIP Zappos delivery is almost as fast, and far more convenient, than going to a shoe store.

After bunion surgery in the middle of the school year, I couldn't find anything comfortable when I graduated from my post-surgical boot to gym shoes to real shoes. It's hard to be a good teacher when your feet hurt! I finally found the Taos Encore...not the cutest shoe ever, but I could make it through the day without wanting to cry. As spring rolled around, I found I couldn't wear my beloved sandals without pain, since most of them were cute but flat with no support. (And let's be honest, my doctor said no sandals at all, but I hate shoes and socks too much to comply.) I turned to the brand that worked before, and found this sandal. It's not as cute as I'd usually buy, but oh my! These are now the only sandals I want to wear. They truly did work right out of the box. I was a little nervous at first because the leather seemed tight, but it conformed to my foot right away. They are soft underfoot, and they provide the best arch support I've ever had in a sandal. The design hides my surgical scar as well as the bunion I haven't had corrected on the other foot. I'm writing a review because I came back to buy another color; they are that comfy. My only "warning" is that the sole fits so cleanly to your foot that occasionally there is an audible "pop" when the seal breaks and it pulls away from your foot. In a quiet classroom of test-takers, it sounds a little like something more embarrassing!

I wear a size 9 and these seemed to run a little small. It was unusual that it fit one foot perfectly and the other was short. I ordered the 10 which are my first pair of size ten shoes and they fit comfortably. I thought they were going to be too big. I got many compliments the first day I wore them.

I bought these sandals in gold a while ago, and they are the bomb. The only thing is they don't have to many colors. I would like to get them in champagne. The price is right and they are so very comfortable. I even put them on and took a mini walk with them and I had no problem. The fit is very comfortable. I slides on your foot like a glove. Just a little bit snug around the toe which is no problem since the shoes are soft and they stretch. So thank you Zappos, you are still the tops.

This shoe looks good while being comfortable enough to wear every day, all day! It doesn't have half sizes and usually that type of sizing doesn't work for me, but going up the half size worked just fine in this one.

I love this shoe but my pinkie toe hangs off because my feet are too wide. I was sorry that they didn't work out for my particular foot. Otherwise they were cute and comfortable, except for the toe thing.

I really LOVE these sandals! I have been trying and trying to find sandals that 1) stay on my feet and don't flap whan I walk 2) support my flat feet 3)not made of cork which can smell 4)are cute. Check, check, check and check! Finally! It has been several years since I have loved a pair. Love these! Almost no break in time too!

Gorgeous. High quality. Lightweight and sturdy. These may become my new favorite sandal. The blue one has a pretty metallic cast you can't really see in the photo.

Taos are pretty great shoes! I haven't found a pair that wasn't as comfy. They are very good quality as well. I bought these in 2 colors because they were very unique. Dressing flip flops I call them.

I loved these shoes but had to send them back. I am a 71/2 and the 7 were too small because the strap on the top is tight and my toes spilled a little at the top. The 8 fit with the strap on the top but the show was just too long. If you are a true 7 or 8 these shoes are just adorable and very comfortable!

These shoes are heaven! I wish all of my shoes were this comfortable! Having morton's neuroma and needing great arch support, these shoes fit the bill and they are stylish too!

As with many other reviewers, my feet were instantly at home in these shoes. I found them to be incredibly comfortable with no break-in period. I wear them all day at work where I'm on my feet a lot. I have slightly narrow feet with bunions, and I've had plantar fasciitis in the past, so comfort is important. And so is style! I love the ruched leather. The only thing I don't like is subtle white, black, and red printed flower & dot pattern on the sole which peeks out in front of the toes and looks a little like dirt or something spattered. I bought black and am thinking I might need to get bronze also. They've become my new standard for comfortable sandals. Thanks to everyone who recommended these!

I love Taos as a brand anyway but I'm totally in love with these shoes. If I could afford it, I'd get them in every color. They are the perfect sandal and look great. I get lots of compliments when I'm wearing them.

I have foot neuromas, and found these sandals to be a god-send. They are extremely comfortable with good arch support and a very stylish look. I ordered the black color and am happy to report that it does not come off on the feet!

I bought these in two colors last summer and wear them a lot. I pretty much live in flip flops in the summer, but have high arches and a narrow foot, so most flip flops don't work because the get too loose and/or lack support. This style has enough "up top" to feel secure and also look really good. Based on how often (daily) I reach for them, I'm now trying to decide if I need any more colors!

Great Shoes, I have a bunion, these shoes are so soft right out of the box, sole is flexible but firm. Have two pair of these.

I just received these beautiful sandals today, just now and they are beautiful they are very very comfortable. I just love, love, love them. I love the light gold, which is like an antique gold which is a color that I like. They are so comfortable that u don't want to take them off. They feel like you are wearing skin. But do you have them in pewter? If so I want a pair. They were true to size and nice arch support. So thanks Zappos. I love shopping with you.
