I love these gorgeous sandals! They're everything I expect from Bernardo; classy, comfortable and beautifully made. I ordered them in the Luggage and the color is perfect. I just couldn't be more pleased. I normally wear a size 7, but in Bernardo sandals I wear a 7.5. And Zappos, as usual, your customer service seriously rocks!

I adore Bernardo sandals. They are foot shaped (a no brainer but sadly a rare attribute in women's shoes), always supremely comfortable, beautifully made and excellent quality. They never rub or chafe around the straps or the foot bed; for me I can put them on out of the box and walk anywhere and everywhere. They are classically stylish and simply redolent of summer. I now have 3 pairs. Because they are such good quality you can resole them and presumably make them last forever (please dear Shoe God, make it so!). I panic bought this pair as I am moving to the UK where I don't think you can buy them - better safe than sorry, no? I bought the red ones, put them on and straight away did a naughty dance of red-shoe-joy. Lucky me!

Because 70 percent of the reviews mentioned that these shoes ran small, I ordered the size I wear and a second pair a half size up. My normal size fit so I returned the larger pair. You can tell these are hand constructed and good quality. I am excited to wear them. I was reluctant to buy them because they were so expensive, but these are replacing another brown pair that I have had for 15 years. These are a higher quality, so if I get 10 to 15 years wear out of them they will be worth the investment.

Love these sandals because they are comfy, cute and versatile. They are easy to dress up or down and I can wear them anywhere. I had a pair in brown and was casting about for a black sandal. I ordered five other styles before I finally thought to just get these in black. Great choice.

This is my second pair! Love the clean lines. They are very well made and comfortable. The toe ring doesn't irritate my toes and I can walk for days in these sandals.

Cute! Better on than off and the red leather is amazing! So glad I got these for the summer!

These are great sandals. They go with everything, they are chic looking, lightweight, well-made, and soft. They are super comfortable I can walk all day in them with my kiddos and I have no complaints. They run pretty true to size.

I love these Bernardo sandals. I bought a 7.5 when I usually wear a 7 because they didn't have my size and my other Bernardos seem a little small. They worked out just fine. The color is great and so is the quality.

I have been looking at these for a long time. I love the clean lines and simple design of these shoes. They fit great. My feet are an 8.5/9, on the wider side of medium width, with a high arch and instep, and the 9s are perfect. The base is wide enough that my toes can't sneak off the edges. The price held me back for awhile, but I finally gave in, and I'm glad I did. The construction is solid. These feel like they will last awhile. I do not have side-slippage or tightness problems like some of the reviewers do. I have two other styles of Bernardo's, which do not have a back strap, but these are my favorites because of how the straps hold my feet securely in place when I walk. I can put them on and forget they are there. I got the red ones. Now I just wish they were available in some other springy colors!

Love! I wasn't sure about the style until I tried them on. So comfortable. Love the neutral brown. The strap across the top of my foot fits! Usually sandals are too wide for me.

I ordered my usual size, 61/2, and it seemed a bit too narrow and a bit too short. My foot was almost hanging off the sides. Also, my feet looked extra wide in this style, so as much as I loved them, they were not flattering on me, and decided to return them. Gorgeous shoes, just not right for me.

I sized up to a 8.5 (normal size 8) and the footbed fit the shape of my foot exactly without toes hanging over the sides. I bought both the White and the Luggage Antique Calf. Although they were the same size, the strap across the top of the foot was huge on the White ones and didn't come close to touching my foot anywhere. The strap across the foot of Luggage color fit perfectly. If you have a wide forefoot and skinny mid foot and heel, I recommend this sandal, but beware, the strap size might not be consistent. The White ones were returned.

I usually wear 8.5 or 9 but needed a 9.5 in this sandal. Wide enough that my foot didn’t hang over the side - very happy.

These sandals were okay. I like the other Bernardo models better. I love Bernardo sandals no matter what.

I love the shoes. I haven't worn them yet. When the package arrived, I had a busy week. Took them out of the box, discarded it, and when I did try on the sandals, while they fit, I should have ordered a 1/2 size smaller. I like that the sandals are a true red, others that I have ordered claim they red, but are more "cerise" in color or dull looking. Overall, I would order the shoes again, just in a different size.

There are no problem with these shoes except the footbed is short. At least for me. Otherwise they fit perfect. And they are beautifully constructed. I'm typically a size 8 medium. I have other Bernardo shoes and love them. If only they were a bit longer :( Had to return.

Very cute and comfortable but not worth the price so I"m sending them back

Very stylish. All Beautiful leather. Wider than the average foot. Very flat, will have the heel built up about 1/2 inch more for a more comfortable walk. Purchased them because they are all leather and this is hard to find. Hoping the new heel will make them more comfortable.

Well after reading the other reviews I thought this sandal would be WIDE, which is what I was looking for and I though per the other reviews this sandal would run larger than it is listed. None of those reviews were correct in my opinion. I wear an 8.5-9 and have a moderately wide foot. I ordered it in an 8.5 and it is tight, and almost not long enough. After wearing it around the house I think it will loosen up a bit and fit fine for my purposes...but if you are between sizes and have a moderately wide foot I'd size up by half or order both sizes and try them on to compare. These are very comfortable for a flat sandal and they seem well made...which for the price is expected.

Beautiful and well made shoe. I love it every time I slip it on. The problem is they are not true to size, which is frustrating when you are a half size. I am always a 6 1/2 but these sandals run small and my heel edged over the end and it didn't look right. So I exchanged for a seven, which is a little too big looking. However, I loved the look so much I am making do with the larger size. I will definitely try the brand again and hope the sizing is better.

Very nice sandal. I would, however, exchange them for another pair if they had not been the last pair in my size, due to the toe loop being attached just a little crooked. I'm sure only I will be aware. But, it is annoying.

This sandal is really cute, but definitely not for long walks. I bought the Tribal Raffia color and the top band really is raffia and leather, not imitation. I usually wear a size 8 and occasionally a 7.5. However, I am at the tip of this sandal and have ordered an 8.5 to see if that gives me enough room. This sandal is great with shorts or can be worn with a summer dress and look stylish.

I love the look of these sandals however they don't fit my foot correctly so they are going back. The leather over my instep is too tight for comfort and as I walk, my heels slip off of the inside of the sandal. As others noted, order them a little larger. I usually wear a 7 1/2 and in these the 8 worked. They are quite attractive so at least try them!
