The length was perfect (ordered a 10, usually wear a 10), but the straps across the foot were too wide for me (low arch, narrow feet), including the toe loop. Just too much room for my foot to move around. Wanted these to work. Love the look! Unfortunately will have to return.

Fits true to size, but not a lot of arch support. I also did not like the faux suede straps on this sandal. They did not impress me as good quality and the color and texture looked cheap.

This is a cute sandal but poorly constructed. The straps were inconsistent in size. Especially the toe strap.

Liked the look of the shoe but they rubbed my big toe too much.

I was very disappointed in these. I purchased the chocolate leather. They are much lighter than the picture. The leather and sole look much cheaper in person. The picture shows a layered wood looking sole but it's just shiny plastic in person. They were also very stiff soled.

I was excited about these sandals based on all the positive reviews and the photos but I agree with a previous reviewer that the actual color is not the deep brown pictured, more of a duller, flatter milk chocolate tone. They felt a bit stiff out of the box, especially the toe ring area but I didn't actually wear them much before deciding to return.

I did not love these. I had enough space to fit my thumb between the wide leather top strap and the top of my foot. (It should be said that I have flat feet and not high arches). I imagine that if someone had high arches, they would like this shoe. Also, the leather felt pretty stiff.

These are cute but the strap at the back is wide and rough on the edging, scraping at my ankle.

Good balance of style and comfort, but completely worn out after less than a month of occasional use. Not a good value for the price.

These sandals are very cute - they do run slightly abundant, and have no arch support, but if neither bothers you, overall they are a comfortable, versatile sandal.

The design of these sandals is beautiful! However, I would compare the materials to something slightly above Target or Wal Mart. It is too bad, because they are the cutest sandal I have seen in a long while. I would have paid a lot more for them if the leather, buckle, and craftsmanship were better. On the up side, they are inexpensive and the fit is pretty spot on.

Loved how these looked, and the leather was really soft, but ALAS, I returned them. I ordered in 6.5 and the BIG TOE LOOP is huge, and was rubbing against my other toe, and there was no way to reduce the size of that loop.

This sandal is very cute and for the most part comfortable except for the buckle on one of them. It's located right at my ankle, so the large buckle rubs and irritates my ankle. If it were located a 1/2 inch forward or back, there would be no problem.

I searched far and wide for an affordable leather sandal to wear around town and bring to Europe for vacation. I bought 2 pairs of these (natural and brown). They fit well right out of the box and were stylish and comfortable, although I was disappointed to find that they weren't ALL LEATHER; there is a cheap leather-like material covering the foot bed. I decided to keep them and, although the leather straps are holding up well, the thin, cheap material on the footbed of both pairs is falling apart after less than a year. I think this cost a pair is too much to pay for a shoe that now looks cheap and tattered - they are unwearable. I was going to give it 2 stars, but I already mistakenly put 3 stars and now can't undo.

Bought this in the brown color. I don't think the brown looks cheap like another reviewer said. It looks exactly like the picture on my iPad. The leather was nice and soft but overall, the shoe ran a 1/2 size too small for my (almost narrow) size 9 foot. I believe that all Franco Sarto sandals do run a 1/2 size too small in length overall, but I ordered based on other reviewers' sizing feedback. Width seemed pretty good. Returning for a larger size.

I really wanted to like this shoe but the toe ring cut into the space between my big toe and my second toe and it hurt. Otherwise a nice looking shoe but I could not wear it because it was painful.

I found these to be very unfortunate looking. Guess I prefer a sandal with thinner straps. These were almost mannish. The toe strap wasn't very comfortable either. These are going back!

Loved this shoe overall, but very disappointed that sections are starting to "peel up." Have not gotten them wet or otherwise abused. For the cost, expected them to last longer than 3 months!

Based on the reviews I expected these sandals to be super comfy. They are ok. The toe loop sort of hurts my toe. Maybe I need to break them in more. The style is good alternative to flats for the office in summer.

Overall, the style is fantastic for a flatter type sandal! I ordered the chocolate leather--a classy, beautiful looking shoe! The upper is a lovely soft/comfortable leather. I do wish, however, that the footbed were also leather, and not of man-made materials; leather is just more durable and comfortable overall. For that reason, I think the shoe is priced a bit higher than it warrants. Also, the footbed is only "slightly" padded and in all honesty, the arch support is not of any significance. If they were less expensive, I'd probably get them in at least two more colors, like the sand and the black because they are so attractive. I wouldn't (couldn't, actually) wear them if I worked on my feet all day, nor for any lengthy/heavy duty walking because they simply aren't designed for that BUT they were comfortable right out of the box (no breaking in whatsoever) and look ADORABLE with capris/crops, skirts and maxi dresses! I plan to wear them all summer when I need something a little nicer looking than my every day sporty Clarks flip flops.
