On the overall quality: I had these shoes for less than a month when the seam on my right shoe started coming apart. I contacted Zappos and they immediately sent me a replacement pair. So far, so good, but I haven't had those a month yet. Overall comfort: I felt the insole was hard without any give. I also didn't feel any extra support to keep my feet from rolling, though the bottoms are wider on the outside. That being said, after about a week of wearing them, they began to feel comfortable. If you are looking for out of the box comfort, this isn't the right shoe. If you have patience, they do get better--until the seam rips.

I love New Balance but this sneaker is bulky and has a major problem with the tongue rolling inward and folding under itself. Not a bad sneaker if this problem is fixed. This would be a good shoe if you wear special innersoles.

Not thrilled about the return shipping on shoes that are obviously not sized correctly. Could not get my foot all the way in.

Disappointed with these shoes. They are very stiff and the left shoe rubs my small toe. Why don't they make white sneakers softer?

New Balance changed these shoes and they are no longer as comfortable as they were. I have difficult feet to fit and these were my favorite shoes. Change is not always good. new Balance are no longer my go to shoes.

NEW BALANCE WX857 is not true to size I ordered size 11th and it was very tight on my food and the medium width was very tight on my foot.

Please Disregard my review as I could not escape this return page without completing each question. Sorry I cannot review for you. My orthotist gave me sizes to order in the styles that I chose and after examining my feet and assessing my problems, he chose the size and I never had it on my foot. I, however chose the style and I liked it five stars! After I get my orthotics made I will be back for some others styles. My size is difficult and styles are hard to find. Thank you for having an easy shopping policy for people with foot problems to solve! I would love to see more women's dressier shoes to wear with slacks and dresses. Athletic shoes with a nice dress evening outfit just does not cut it!

New Balance failed me. Normally take C width...ordered D and this was still tight.
