This is best shoe I have ever bought! But, I ordered it from Amazon and it appeared to be half size small, I'm from Europe and ordered 43 size (9.5 us) as it was in chart provided by seller, I always wear 43 size shoe, but this one is not 43, it's more like 42.5, so I had to return it sadly. :( I'll go for 10(US) size next time.

Way too small. Buyer beware! I have worn a size 10 in every pair of athletic shoes since 7th grade...apparently, until now when I now will re-order a size 12. These shoes run one-to-two sizes too small. They are made by elves for European men who are tiny. If you live in America, plan on these shoes being way too small.

This shoe is stylish, and comfortable, but unless you only intend to wear while running on a track or asphalt isn't the best option. If you are looking for a shoe that can hold up to daily use, and see some action in other athletic fields buy something else. The shoe's treads rip with any change of direction. I have had these for less than half a year, and just had to buy new running shoes because of their lack of durability.

The shoes are okay. I wouldn't recommend them for a highly active runner or athlete. They do offer a soft impact land with the soles but just kind of clunky and not as flexible as I thought they would be. The one thing that really bugs me is the way the sole of the shoe is and how it flexes when you run or walk. It allows rocks to constantly get stuck in the sole making it a very noisy and annoying walk/run, and you can't easily remove the rock either you have to remove your shoe and bend your shoe like mad to release the rocks. These shoes would be a good shoe to own if you just wore them indoors.

My husband and I are big fans of Nike Free 5.0's, but Nike really missed the mark on this year's model. The insole is not as cushy as in the past. The upper mesh layer and the overlay are not attached in the flywire area, so if you have a narrower foot, the upper mesh will hug your foot, but the overlay will gap. We both also had to buy a half size bigger than we've bought before. The flywire design is cool looking, but not practical as they seem they'll break over time. The soft spot on the back of the shoe seems to be smaller and placed lower, so it tends to get bunched by your heel. Overall, we're not nearly as happy as we've been with our previous models of Free 5.0's. I actually returned mine and will just wear my pair from last year.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it! I have the 2.0s, and love them. Went back for more and found only the "upgrades." Tried them and don't care for the tweeks at all. I'm out looking for a new pair of shoes!

This is why I rarely buy shoes off the internet. These shoes run really small. If you have wide feet order at least a whole size larger.

I'm a woman who normally wears a women's 10 or a men's 9 when buying Adidas or Asics. I saw that people said these ran small, so I ordered a 9.5 men's...my smaller foot was okay, but my other foot that is a true men's 9 was too tight. Really, I advise sizing up one full size so that they fit. Also, I'm not really sure what all the hype is about these...the materials were all light, spongy plastic and felt cheap, like it would fall apart in 3 months.

These were for my husband. He wears a size 15. Even though one of the other reviews said to order up, but possibly not having a problem if they have flat feet, I went ahead and ordered the 15 because my hubby says nikes are true to size. Well not in this case. They are getting sent back.

I should have read the reviews on this be before purchasing. I have been wearing nothing but Nike Frees for four years now, so I just assume I can buy size 12.5s and not even have to think about it. Not this time. These are hard to even get on my feet, even with super thin socks, are quite uncomfortable, and will be going up on eBay within the hour.

I wouldn't recommend this particular shoe. Got it for my husband, he loves to PT and walk the dog. The sole of these particular shoes does not hold up at all. 4 months and they're shot.

NOT A RUNNING SHOE! Okay, so if you're a barefoot runner, and you decide that you need to put something on your foot, get these. If you are not a barefoot runner, do not run in these shoes. I had been running in some run of the mill Asics and I wanted more a nimble shoe, but for running, they will murder your feet. They gave me plantar faciitis after less than a week of running because they have no support and put tons of strain on your foot. Do not get these shoes if you plan on running, please I'm begging you, get some Brooks, I just switched to the Brooks Ghost 7's and my feet are already feeling way better.

I usually wear a size 9. These sneakers seem to be a half size to small. I will order a 9.5 the next pair I get. They are extra like and a great walking sneaker.

This shoe was disappointing for my husband -- he could not get it on because of the instep. The size 10 is normally what he orders, so we were surprised. We'll try something else.

I loved the look of the shoe and heard it was good for running. however, the shoe is so poorly made that the bottom slits into the two pieces its made out of. and the eyes where the laces go through poke your foot. Asics or any other brand has been way for comfortable.

Received these sneakers as a gift. Overall they are comfortable. It's nice that they are flexible right out of the box and don't really need weeks of being broken in. There are a couple of issues with them, however. Most sneakers have rigid heels which just kind of take for granted. A rigid heel makes it easy to slide your foot in. These sneakers have a cloth heel, which you need to pull over your foot to get it on...you can't just slide your foot in. Also, after a few weeks of wearing them, one of the sneakers developed a squeak...with every step, the sneaker makes a very noticeable squeaking sound (people standing 10 feet away can hear it). For the price, a sneaker should not squeak. I'm working with Zappos to see if they will exchange them for me. But as of right now, I would not recommend these sneakers.

Within the first day, the black started rubbing off the top of the toe area. They look terrible after only a week. Happy with the comfort of the sneaker, extremely unhappy with the wear and tear factor.

These shoes fit awesomely, look good, and are comfortable to run/work out in. Unfortunately, they are lacking in the quality I've come to expect of Nike Frees. The black band surrounding the shoe, separating the sole of the shoe from the body of the shoe, is painted foam, which reveals a white under-color upon the first scratch or nick. The stretchy neoprene material on the heel cup starts to sag after the first few weeks of (light) use. The insole pops out every time I remove my foot from the shoe. I have the Nike Free 2.0 which is still in great shape after brutal use and 6 months of backpacking around SE Asia. I don't expect the 5.0+ to last nearly as long.

They are very light which is a plus, but the size is not accurate. Was forced to return them and get 1 full size larger, then they are too narrow feeling too tight around foot. Thought they would stretch but they didn't. Now I have a pricey pair of tennis shoes just sitting there collecting dust. Cannot return since they have been already worn. Very disappointed with this pair of tennis shoes, NOT WHAT I EXPECTED! :(

Okay... I ran in these for three months. Have been running in FreeRuns since version one. I ran my first full marathon in my first pair (qualified for Boston). Have LOVED them. Until now. My knee has been giving me grief. My shin splints are back (since high school). So, on The last two runs I pulled out my old FreeRun 3 shoes. Knee pain... Gone. Shin splints are gone as well. My FreeRun 3's have well over 400 miles on them. I run 32 + miles per week. and have for over five years. These were the first pair of Nike that just crapped out. Nike... I have loved thee... Alas, the romance is over. Going to try Altra. I will review them after three months as well.

Really liked the old Free Run 3. This is supposed to be its successor, but misses the boat in a couple places. It's got a thicker sole and more padding. No so minimalist. And it seems like Nike kept the same sizing, and didn't account for the extra padding, making it effectively a much smaller shoe. Returning it.

Love Nike and wear the brand all the time, but this Size 15 felt more like a 13 in a way. I could barely get one on to try it out. Problem here is that there is very little flexibility for those with taller feet. You simply can't let out the laces to make a little more room for your foot. Seems like an interesting shoe design, but the lateral support strings have zero give. I would only recommend this shoe to those with very flat feet. If you have a thicker foot or taller arch, this shoe won't fit right.

Shoe feels flimsy compared to other running shoes I have used and seems sized at least one size smaller than normal. The width is also quite narrow but that could be associated with the sizing issue. I have not been satisfied with the product for sport or leisure.

Mine must have been labeled wrong. I couldn't even get my foot in the shoe. I first tried a 10 and they were tight. I couldn't get the 10.5 size on.

My 13 year old son has had these shoes for 3 weeks and they are already tearing it up. I expect more from Nike and certainly I expect more when I pay this much for a pair of shoes.
