I love FitFlops & own about 6 pair, but the leather ones stretch to the point of being dangerous. I lined them with moleskin to tighten them up and that did the trick. If you buy smaller, the foot bed will be too small.

I had surgery on both feet 4 months before taking a trip to Europe. I was worried I would have trouble finding shoes that would be comfortable and give me the right amount of support. FitFlops were great! We did a lot of walking and they carried me through the whole trip. Love them!

I am used to the Walkstar III style. The Lulu is close, but the heel and arch are a little higher so it loses that yummy comfort--the reason we buy FitFlops. Going back.

The straps were very soft and comfortable, but a little loose...I could fit my finger under them. They were comfortable walking around my house, but I was afraid if I walked a lot the looseness and raised toe strip would bother me. Not a lot of arch support.

This shoe runs wide. I needed to return them, and got the "Skinny" style, with the adjustable strap instead. If you have wide feet you will love this shoe. I agree the size 8 is perfect for 8 1/2 feet. I subsequently tried on other FitFlop styles and found them all to run wide for my (usually average) foot.

Loved everything about this shoe except the strap. It was too wide (I like the adjustable strap on the skinny much better) and made my feet look funny. Still I wore them around the house for a day and the strap seemed to stretch. I am going to send them back and keep the skinny. The footbed was super comfy though. It seemed slightly more padded than the skinny. I hope Fit Flop isn't starting to cut corners on their shoes.

The foot bed of the Fitflop is incredibly comfortable! Sadly for my two toes next to the big toe (index toe?), the spot where the shiny material meets the thong, on my Fitflops, had a very sharp edge. Thus my toes not only got terrible blisters, the material cut my toes like knives. I still wore them with mega band-aids and ended up having to cut and file the material. Granted, I haven't worn thong style shoes in a while so my toes were extra sensitive. In conclusion! The footbed comfort outweighed the thong pain and find them NOW to be amazingly comfortable shoes! I walk all day and was psyched to be able to keep them on(once toes healed) walking 6 hours.

Recently bought these, will keep, as I have many, many Fit Flops and love them. These seemed smaller than usual and not quite as cushy, maybe need to be worn more. Won't give up yet.

Overall, awesome feeling on my feet and easy to wear. They are very supportive, I can walk in them for miles or stand for hours. But I wish the whole shoe could get wet - once you get the nubuck upper wet, it stains the top of your foot black. I would upload a picture of what they are doing to mine right now so you could see but, eew!

I purchased them in black and I love them--so much that I purchased another pair identical in white and I hate them. They are sz. 8 and they look like gunboats. They should have made the soles black or some other dark color. Guess I'll have to sail through the summer with them.

I bought these Fit Flops for walking around in Italy this summer. I have not traveled yet but in breaking them in. I find the shoes very comfortable. They do not cause my knees or feet to ache the way regular flip flops do. They are not the most beautiful shoes I have ever owned but they are not bad.

This is my first pair of FitFlops, and I think I'm going to have to build a collection. These are so cute and comfortable. However, the difference between the size 7 & 8 seems a little vast -- other reviews said this style runs big & I normally wear a 7.5M, so I tried the 7; it was too short. The 8 is just a tiny bit too long but the footbed hits in the right places so I'm keeping these. FitFlop was recommended because I've got plantar fasciitis and should no longer wear flat footwear.

Great sandal, it was a little hard to get used to at first, I kept falling off them! Now I am comfortable with them.

This is my first pair of Fitflops. I am a diabetic and have a touch of neuropathy. These shoes are very comfortable. I had them on this morning for three hours and they felt great. I usually have to break shoes in, even sandals, but these felt amazing. I had some burning of the soles of my feet but that is neuropathy not the shoe. This will not be the last pair of Fitflops I buy. In fact am looking at the inventory right now.

Runs narrower than other fit flops and does not exactly conform to my foot. Appears to be true to size in length, not requiring that you size down.

Fit flop has changed the footbed so that they are a bit more narrow than the old style. The Lulus are way too morrow for me so I depended on the old style. The sizing felt a half size smaller than usual.

I wanted to like these, but they were SO wide. My feet are a little on the wider side, but these were just enormous - I walked right out of them. Had to return.

The straps got loose after a few days of wear and now I can't really walk much in these. They tend to fall off my feet. I find Fit Flops sizing to be rather strange - either too small or too big. The straps don't match the size of the footbed.
