These are well-made tights. I usually rip my tights the first wear, so I bought these to be more indestructible. They survived the first wear, no problem. I find them uncomfortable at the waist, though (where I store a little extra weight), and therefore not worth the hefty price. The narrow waist seam pinches my middle, and I'm sure it will show under clothes, so these will just be a backup pair. I bought a Spanx Tight-End pair at the same time, and those are the CLEAR winner, durable and comfortable at the waist. However, if you have a thin tummy, you may have no problem.

Nice tights that feel substantial and expensive; however, they are not made for tall, thin women. I'm 5'10" and 135lbs, I got the size S, and when I tried them on the crotch was about 5 inches below my actual crotch. They're not super stretchy and I couldn't have pulled them up more. However, the leg felt just right (if not a little loose), and I'm sure that I would have been swimming in a size M. Probably great if you are not an extra-long woman.

These tights have to be felt to be believed! I wanted to remark on the sizing after reading an earlier review. I was confused by the size ranges because I'm 5'5" and 105 lbs, taller than the XS range but well under the lower weight for the SM. I ordered the SM figuring that the length would be the more important factor and they were perfect for me. I would suggest that the tall thin lady try sizing up as it worked for me despite the enormous weight discrepancy.

I have navy and black colour , every time I wore them I super like their material and feel so I am so into the tights . I love to wear this type of tights to skirt etc . They seem to be durable and last tight broke only after 7 years

The best tights that I've ever had. These are well worth the price. The waistband is the best that I've had (keeps the tights up but doesn't squeeze too much), though I still felt some squeeze (might be inevitable...).

Great for work! I love Wolford tights and these are a great pair for winter/early spring. Definitely the most comfortable tights I have had, and now I only wear Wolford.

Love these. A few hours into my first wear, I caught my tights with my finger nail and winced, knowing they’d have a tear. I looked down, and they were still flawless! The price is higher than I normally pay, but it looks like I won’t have to replace them nearly so often. Very pleased

These are great except due to the rolls of fat on my body I could use some reinforcement in the tummy area. I need more support and should have purchased the Power Shape tights instead.

I have worn Wolford Velvet De Luxe tights for many years. They're great. Just for the record, I am 5'3", weigh 100 pounds and my medium size tights were too tight. So I purchased the large, and they are perfect for me. LOL! So I suggest sizing up as these do run small. Also, my old ones said 50 denier while the new ones are 66 denier - more opaque and thicker, in a good way.

The fit of these tights is good--I'm 5'0" and got the XS. Very comfortable! I wore these to work almost everyday during the winter time. They go really well with black heels/wedges/flats! These tights are also relatively thick so you don't have to worry about getting any accidental holes. Also, they're a little slippery, like when I am sitting in my chair (normal office chair), I can feel myself slipping off the chair if I lean back too much. It's a little odd for a pair of tights to do that, but it's not a huge deal. Just a little thing I noticed! Other than that, I highly recommend these tights.

Wow! These rights are extremely strong and comfortable. They’re not cheap but boy are they worthwhile.

Everything I had read about these tights is true. They are just the perfect opaque, as soft as silk (matte finish), and so very durable. Perfect!

I’m 5’11” and bought an XL. There’s some extra length in the leg for me, but I worried a L wouldn’t have enough. Material is comfortable and stays up better than most.

Very comfortable and sturdy

I HATE buying and putting on nylons as they always seem to run immediately. A friend recommend I try tights and I'm glad tried these. I'm about 5'5", 167lbs with larger legs. These tights were easy to put and seemed to fit well everywhere. I've only work them once but so far so good.

Yes, these are pricey at the outset, BUT ... if you divide price/# of times worn, they are actually a great deal. These are well made, substantive tights. I am on my feet all day at work and they provide nice support. I wash them by hand and, in general take very good care of them, and they last a long time. I average 1/pr. per year, although the last pair I had lasted for 2 winters. Love these tights.

The quality is absolutely evident. You can feel the difference between these stockings and others when rooting around in the drawer! I read another review that said they feel like velvet, and that's actually kinda true.

These are great tights. Very durable even with little kids crashing into me and stepping on my feet. I am 5ft 6in tall and 163lbs and the medium fit great.

These tights are very comfortable, and so far, very resilient. They are soft, and not too tight, but do not bag; it is hard to find tights that have both of these features.

I've never been a fan of tights but I needed them for a work function. I decided I should go for the best tights available and bought these. They are incredibly comfortable, luxurious and flattering. I've started wearing them all the time and I tell everyone to order them. You can't go wrong with these tights!

After a few wears, I'm really enjoying these tights - the feel is indeed velvety, and despite the sheer look, they seem remarkably strong and resistant to ripping. With such a hefty price tag, I am hoping they last a year or two at least. These are not really super cold-weather tights - the sheerness looks great but does little to keep out the cold.

They truly feel like velvet. And Admiral is a great shade of midnight blue. Can't go wrong with the quality and fit of these tights.
