While I liked the overall look of this shoe, I found the elastic round the edge to be uncomfortable and would have given me blisters had I worn them all day. I think part of the problem is that it has a deeper toe box so the shoe comes back farther on your foot. For some reason it also irritated my pinky toe. I aside from the edging, I found the base of the shoe to be comfortable and it had more cushioning than a lot of ballet flats. I hope you have better luck than I!

I should have believed the reviews, very uncomfortable to wear for long periods of time.

Rubs on my heel and just feel overall cheap.

Ordered my normal shoe size and the fit was fine. The leather is *so thin*. I imagine them getting torn up very quickly.

I tried a size 10, because these are cute, flexible, and I was hoping to get by. Unfortunately, I need a 10.5 and they don't have it. I really like the tread and quality, but they just won't fit.

Too bad there's no 10.5 option.

I could not believe how uncomfortable these shoes were. I could barely wear them around my living room without them rubbing and hurting my feet. I purchased them because of the good reviews, but I did not like them at all. The material on the outside also looked cheap. Returned.

The black patch in the arch support is coloring the soles of your feet. I tried to wash it multiple times and it still spews black ink. Colored my finger tips numerous times. I had these shoes for probably a year and it never stopped. Comfy, but makes your feet look like hobbit feet after wearing them.

Overall these are pretty good. But black, little patch that bleeds black color ALL THE TIME!! I tried to wash it, it just spews black ink out of it!! I had these shoes for a while now (probably a year) and that color is still going strong! Shoes are comfy and quite wide.

I ordered these shoes in January. Very comfortable. However, they have a hole in the top near my pinky toe. I've never had that happen before and I don't wear these al the time. Bummer.

Ordered a 9.5, definitely my size, wore it for a day and found them extremely tight. They gave me blisters on my pinkie toes. Would not purchase these again. Wasted $70.

I think I've given up on the elastic ballerina flats. They rub and slip.

Pretty color (cognac), nice, flexible sole, classic ballet flat styling. Loved everything about these *except* the edge of the shoe scratched the back of my heel. Deal-breaker. I will not purposely wear shoes that damage my skin/hurt/require bandaids.

Unfortunately, these have a very narrow insole but the shoe itself is wide. So it does not feel snugly and my foot kept sliding all over the place. Definitely a shoe for wide feet ONLY.

they were ok for comfort but not enough to make me want to keep them. The fact that they curled up it almost felt like they were too big or too snug and slipped off when I walked in them. The heel also felt a little high on the back of my foot.

I had high hopes for these, as they seemed straight forward but they did not deliver unfortunately. The first thing I noticed is they were very slippery on my porcelain floor (wasn't wet or anything). I honestly was first concerned about slipping in them. My second concern was feeling the bottom rubber piece dig into my foot. My foot isn't extra wide or anything, but it is clear by the look of the sole these are made for VERY narrow feet! I will unfortunately be returning them. The pattern was cute.

Have had bunion surgery on both feet - width was good, but top seam fell exactly on incision line.

I ordered the 7.5W in black for this order. I already have the nude in 7.5 that I purchased from a local shoe store from several years ago that I love and was excited to find wide sizing on zappos. Unfortunately this pair is nowhere near as comfortable as my old nude shoe. The leather is very stiff and appears as though it will crack. The back of the shoe is very uncomfortable where the stitching of the seams are. I will try to break the shoe in a little more, but I don't know if I can, because it hurts so much. Maybe it's just my pair because most people seem to like their shoe. Quality control perhaps? Too bad I can't return, as I wore them out of the house already (initially felt comfortable walking around the house). The quest for a super comfortable go-to black ballet flat continues.

I live in flats. I've been on a quest to find more comfortable flats and was excited to try the Chaste Ballet after reading such positive reviews. I ordered my normal size, 7 1/2, and unfortunately had to exchange them for an 8. The 8 fit and I thought they were comfortable at first try. I wore them to work the next day and I really regret not bringing a backup pair just in case. These flats dug into the back of my heels so much that I had to purchase bandaids to make it through the rest of the day! It sounds like they are comfortable for some of the other reviewers, but I cannot recommend them. Hopefully I can return them!

Cute shoes! I have a very narrow foot and the narrow was so tight, also seemed too short. Also the elastic killed my feet, so uncomfortable.
