I have this coat in black and absolutely love it. I ordered it in the purple dahlia color thinking it looked more maroon online, it is definitely purple. It is slightly shiny purple, so I am returning it.

My favorite jacket. Light weight but keeps you very warm. The cut is great and it has a simple look to it so it can be worn with all types of outfits. Do not let the fact that it is thin fool you. I wear this in Seattle, Chicago and NY with the wind and snow. This is my 2nd one I had to have another color. I have had my first one for 2 years and still in great shape.

I live in the Front Range of Colorado. This jacket is so light but extremely warm. I have worn it in rain and snow (walking to and from my car and on my daily walk), and I am not chilled at all. The extended cuff with the hand warmer that has a thumb cut out is added warmth with or without gloves. It ran about a size small so I went with the medium instead of the small.

This is a really stylish jacket without being bulky at all. It'll pack down very small for traveling, which will be great. I read the reviews saying it should keep you warm in pretty chilly temps, and I'll be trying it out soon in the mountains. I usually wear mediums but purchased a large because I know I'll want to layer underneath and not feel too stuffed. And I wanted something to fall past my waist to keep my tush warm. There is an inner lining that looks like the shiny wrap they put on marathoners after a run. As far as Ruby Red... it's more on the pink-read side than red-red, but I still like the brightness of it. With there could be at least one inner zip pocket, but the two exterior side pockets should suffice. The thumb holes will be convenient when I don't need to wear gloves but still want to keep the chill out. I spent time comparing Columbia vs TNF and Patagonia. I think for the style, material and price of this jacket, it's the best deal.

Originally ordered a medium & exchanged for a small to get the close fit, sleeves are still long enough for a tall person! Not bulky but super warm for 30 degree NC days, skiing and trail running!

This jacket fits very well. I am 5' 9", 145 pounds and it is not usually easy for me to find jackets with sleeves long enough! So far it has been very warm, but lightweight enough to still move around in.

I needed a lighter-weight coat that would be small enough that I could roll up and fit into my carry on luggage, yet warm enough that I would stay warm without having to layer a ton of clothes underneath, while stylish enough that I could wear this to a work function. This coat fit all of my criteria and more! It did everything it was designed to do and it sure kept me warm with the space blanket liner. The thumb holes helped keep my hands warm when I realized I forgot to pack gloves. I love this coat and I'm so happy to be able to make this part of my fall/early winter wardrobe!

I chose this jacket because I was looking for something lighter than a winter coat and heavier than a spring/rain jacket. The first time I wore it, it was 38 and windy in Chicago and the jacket was perfect. I was warm but not too warm. The high collar protected my neck well from the wind. I also like this jacket because it is slightly fitted but I still have room for a sweater under it. The best part may be the sleeves. If you have trouble finding coats with sleeves that are long enough, this jacket is for you. The sleeves might even be a little too long, but I don't mind the extra protection for my hands.

I really like this jacket. It is lightweight and very comfortable and the blue color is attractive. I haven't used it in winter yet, but I bought it for late fall and early spring traveling from the Midwest to Florida ,so it will be perfect for that.

I live in South Florida and am a total Florida wimp when it comes to cold. I bought this coat for brief trips to colder climes. I tested it last weekend in Massachusetts where the early morning temperatures were in the upper 30s. There even was frost on the ground one morning! The coat was perfect! It is so lightweight. It folds into nothing in a carry-on. It is a snug, form-fitting fit yet I could put a shirt and sweatshirt underneath. I was warm! The collar was high on my neck which helped with the wind and cold, and the insert that extended and hooked over my thumbs plus the sleeves that could be elongated really helped. I didn't need to wear gloves. This coat was worth every penny! If I go north more often, I may try one with a hood although my wool hat worked well. I highly recommend this coat.

We like the materials that make this product, however what we liked the most was the fast delivery from the time we place the order on line, it was delivered next day!! Amazing!

I love the blue color, bright and cheerful. This jacket is very lightweight but warmer than you'd think. Sleeves are long but that's okay with the inner wrist liners.

I consider myself a true size 4, and struggle ordering clothing on line. In this case, the fit was perfect, and the jacket is performing exactly as I wished. I bought it to wear to the barn for riding; it is a light, but very warm spring/fall jacket that will fit nicely under my bulky winter coat for extra warmth during the winter. It fits well enough and is flexible enough that I can ride and work in it. Lovely product, definitely recommend it.

Alot thinner than I thought nevertheless I'm pleased with it as I will be wearing thin & thick long sleeve under it in my south dakota weather. Even thou Im a true size medium, I ordered a large due to reading other reviews stating it's a close fit....happy with my decision! Ground shipping took longer than I anticapted.

I love this coat so much, that I replaced after I lost my original coat of same model at a conference. Things I love, 1. Great style, not bulky. 2. Omniheat 3. Thumb holes 4. Wash and hang dry overnight...ready in AM 5. Quality made ( should have listed #1) 6. The blue is pretty..original was black. Both nice colors. I love this coat.

I purchased this jacket to prepare me to travel to Chicago in the early spring. It is very warm and does a great job cutting the wind. I would say this jacket works best in 25-60 degree temps. Worked out perfect for me. Cannot wait to wear again next winter.

I ordered this because I wanted a lightweight, slim fit "down" jacket, but after seeing how down is produced, I just can't buy it anymore. This fits my petite (5'3 110) frame better than most and I don't feel like the Michelian Man. I also love that it is machine washable. Occasionally, little fibers sneak through the seams, but considering the price and how many times I've worn (and washed) it, I totally rec' it, especially to more petite ladies.

I bought the longer version of this jacket 2 years ago up in NC and it's been my go to coat for everything! It's so light and well insulated which is such a great function duo and I love the fact that the sleeves are more closed so air doesn't blow up the sleeves keeping you warmer. I would recommend this jacket/coat for anyone anywhere because it is that versatile ;) The price in the long run is worth it :)

I'm a ski instructor and wear it under my jacket and sm toasty warm. Wear it by itself also and love it!

I love this coat! I was looking for a casual, current jacket that didn't have a hood. The box it was delivered in was so light that I wasn't sure what was in it. It is true white with a really cool, shiny lining. I am 5'2, 115 pounds. I ordered a Small. The sleeves are of course a little long for me, but I love the the partial hand covers with thumb holes. This coat is perfect for the 32-50 winters we have in central Texas. I will take it skiing next year as well!
