I had to return my 7.5 and get a 7, and they are still a bit long, but tolerable. Definitely narrow in the middle of the foot, so if you have a wide foot these probably won't work. The calf size is good for those of us with larger calves. I bought these to take to London, but ended up not taking them because of lack of luggage space. It doesn't rain a lot here so haven't had a chance to wear these in summer. Now it is snowy, but these have no insulation so they are too cold to wear, even with thick socks. I've warm them a few times to the grocery store, but overall not super comfortable to wear around. Maybe in summer when it's warmer. But definitely not a winter boot.

I got these boots about two years ago and they were amazing! Wore them all the time, even occasionally during the winter - you can wear thick socks and they're still comfy! Only problem is that there is no support, so I recommend getting some sort of insole with arch support, then you'll be solid.

My boots already have holes in them on either side. I really think these boots are cute and a good height...but they are supposed to protect me from the rain and they can't do that if there are holes.

These are cute in the picture, but not cute on my feet. While I appreciate the space of this boot both for the wide calves and wide feet, it was not flattering. 7 was little big, but I feel like if I got a 6, it would be too tight in the foot area.

Not a bad boot, especially for the price, although the tab in the back arrived torn, so I am returning them. They are comfortable. A little clunky, but a good look for the country.

Lovely boots, however, I wore inside the house (for fit) on my tile floor, slipped and thankfully did not fall due to small drips of water from my dog's water bowl.

Boot came just as pictured in photo. Very cute. But as I am 64 perhaps this bothered me more than someone younger, they are very heavy in weight. That is why I returned them.

I ordered these boots in a size 6. When they arrived, both boots say size 6 on the inside and on the sole, but one boot is clearly at least a full size larger than the other. This is not a reflection of my feet - I am familiar with the subtle size difference of my two feet. In this case, on one boot both the foot area is at least a size larger and the calf looseness is also much different. I will wear them and won't bother to exchange them since I'll only be wearing them a few times a year when we get heavy rains and I have to walk through our back yard. But I was pretty surprised at the poor quality control of the manufacturer.

Order a size down from what you normally wear. Unless you want to wear multiple thick socks at once. They are made very big. I didn't want to have the hassle of returning them though. Overall, other than them running large, they are very cute, I got mine in pink. The buckle is my favorite part of them. Like many others have said, they are good for people with wide calves.

These boots are super cute, but I found the top to be too wide. I worried about rain falling into the boots when wearing them with pants tucked into them. I think if you have problems with boots being too tight at the calfs, then these boots might be right for you. I have average calfs - not really very thin or very heavy, and I just found that the calf of the boot was too loose. I am a size 7½/8 and ordered the 8 and the shoe part felt a bit too large so I would say that they run a bit big.

I bought these boots in January 2014, and I've loved them up until now. Today, I used leather pull on the back to slip my foot in, and the pull tore right off. I feel like my formerly beloved rain boots are completely ruined, and I'm disappointed that these pricey rain boots were so easily torn.

I liked the color. I kind of wished that they were a little bit higher. I have a larger calf but these were too open and little rocks kept getting inside. They were alright to walk in.

The boot was much too large. Although it was very comfortable, I was looking for something more stylish to wear on rainy days. Oh well, I'm sending it back and spending more on another style.

I typically wear an 8 1/2 or 9, so I ordered 9. They were too big. I was ordering these to replace a very old pair of Bogs (like 9 years old!). The Bogs, even in their current condition, have a lot more support and heft to them. These are definitely "just" rain boots. No support, simply a waterproof shell. I did, however, like the looks of them. Too bad.

I have relatively skinny calves, and these didn't work for me, even with the buckle tightened all the way. They just looked huge, but what really did it for me was that the ankle was way too big, too, not just the calves. I really wanted them to work, sad to have to return them because they seemed like they would have been a great value!

Didn't last long. I used them occasionally and they cracked on the sides of the boot near the ball of the foot. I liked the boots but wish I could have used them longer.

Was really wanting to like these but they were way too wide at the top. Felt like it wouldn't have protected me very well and could have rained right into the boots. Returned.

I purchased these boots in late September 2016. Wore them a handful of times on rainy days and they held up just fine. However, it's now mid February 2017 and each boot has a split on each side all the way through to the cloth lining. I only wear them in the city so it's not like I'm hard on them. Really disappointing because these are nice looking rain boots and I thought I had made a solid purchase.

I was very disappointed in these boots, honestly. While the fit is fine and they're very cute on the outside, the removable insole started coming apart the very first time I wore them. I'm in college and I've only worn them to walk around campus (not long distances or anything strenuous), but right away the top felty layer stuck to my socks and gradually separated from the lower foam layer. I've tried wearing them with everything from woolen socks to basic athletic socks and the results have been the same. This unfortunate insole separation process began at the heel, and gave me awful blisters until I just decided to pull the felt layer the rest of the way off. For the price of these, I really thought I would be getting a higher quality shoe. I'll keep wearing these with just the foam layer of the insole when it rains, but I don't plan to order anything from this brand again.

Within weeks of ordering these, I removed the thin, foam foot inserts because they were peeling apart and bunching up when I put the shoes on. Less than a year after ordering these, the sole/foot of the boot split from the shaft/top of one boot and the other ended up with a split randomly on the shaft itself, making them useless in the rain. I have a wide foot, and wearing these boots made my feet ache after a few hours, though the shorter shaft fit my wide calves well. I'm not sure if it's poor quality construction or if maybe my wider feet put strain on them and caused them to split, or if it was a mix of both. I've had issues with cheap rain boots splitting before, but I had hoped paying a little more would resolve this issue. I was disappointed in how these held up and I tried one other similar brand after these before recently finding the Ugg Sienna rain boot, which is high quality and much more comfortable.

These boots felt really narrow around my feet but gaped open at the top. Also, the little leather accents looked cuter on the website than in real life. Returned these.

I am unhappy with these rain boots. The fit is great and they are comfortable, but they are falling apart. I live in San Diego, which is known for having a lack of rainfall and therefore I have only worn my boots a few times; the inserts in the boots are falling apart and there are tears in the outside plastic of the boot, which now allows for water to get in. I maintain them well, stored in a closet and out of sunlight. :(

I love the look of these boots and they are darling right put of the box. Unfortunately, they are very uncomfortable and rub a raw patch on the back of my calf! They are very wide at the top and I guess the flopping back and forth of walking is what causes it to irritate? I figured they just must hit my calves in a strange way and so I gave them to my college-aged daughter who also loved the look of them and they rubbed her calves the same way! Sadly, I can barely wear them.
