Excellent for wide calves! I spent a long time searching for boots to fit my extra wide calves (almost 19" at the widest point). All others at this height, including the Hunter shorts, were still too tight or made of a plastic material that creases and tears where the foot bends. These are a rubbery material that seems very flexible (aka, won't rip) and the strap at the top is truly adjustable - I don't even need to have it on the loosest hole. I haven't worn them in the rain yet, but the soles seem to have excellent traction. I usually wear either an 8.5 or 9, and the 9 leaves plenty of room for thick socks.

These are adorable, school bus yellow. Not what I would call comfortable but do the trick! Great height for short people where most boots are not.

These are the best water-proof boots ever ! Very easy to slip on and keep feet warm and dry in cold Michigan weather. I have received so many compliments on these cute orange boots. The size and style is perfect and I just love my new chooka orange boots - so very happy!

These lasted two seasons of the Pacific Northwest rain with lots of wear. I don't expect much more than that from cheaper pairs. I did like the style and they were pretty comfortable.

Boots are way too small--I'm going to try one full size larger (wasn't even wearing socks).

These are very cute and practical rain boots however the inserts continuously came out and eventually got bunched up beyond repair. I ended up taking them out altogether. They are less comfortable now for sure. Wish they sold separate inserts.

Very cute. Not the most comfortable. The heel is a little narrow and my foot doesn't sit right.. but it does the job for when it rains.. can't wear all day. Feet start to hurt. But very cute

I wear a size 8 1/2 - 9. I ordered a 9 - my toe just hits the front - I wou;d need size larger but this boot is very narrow. I don't wear wide shoes but the foot is so snug I have to send them back :( Sad - they are really nice boots - and the calf size is wonderful for larger calf sizes.

I bought these in sage, size 9. I'm always a size 9 in everything. These felt very snug. They look cute but are definitely just a touch too small. I wore them with normal socks. I feel that a 10 is probably too big, I wish they had half sizes!

Adorable looking boot, but once your foot is in, it doesn't hold shape. I have wide feet like a frog with bunions. I couldn't even get my foot in the 6. I got in the 7, but my big toe was touching the top and front, in addition to being able to see bunion. I thought they were cute enough to make work, but after a few hours in them, I decided it wasn't worth it. I have Target boots in a 7 that are too long and ordered the Ugg sienna in a 7 which is also too long, but typically am n between a 7 and 7.5. So, I thought ordering the 6 and 7 in this boot I was covering my bases, as boots tend to run roomier, but I will be returning them and not even trying 8. However, the watermelon is an adorable coral color! The buckle is a cute accent. My only other complaint is the same color soles as they easily absorb dirt. My husband was concerned I would catch rain as the ankle top flares quite a bit, but do we really wear them in the rain?

Desperately needed these and really liked them, but way too narrow for my wide feet.

Very nice rain boot. I wish they were a little wider at the calf and ankle for women like me who have somewhat thick calves and thick ankles. However I decided to keep them and not wear socks.

These are really cute and a nice soft rubber that doesn't chaff the back of my legs, but the 8 is too narrow in the toe box and the 9 is too gappy. I wish it came in a W or an 8.5. Super sad about sending it back.

I love these boots! They are stylish, and the right height for me because I have big calves. I live in the PNW, and people wear rain boots around town. I was a little hesitant because some of the reviews said the they break easily, so far so good.....!

I bought these in mid-Oct 2016. One month later, the rubber split. And like another customer reported here, the split didn't happen on a seam. Odd, right? The rubber split on the left foot (just a tad on the inside of the shoe), next to my big toe. Any way, I was really sad because these boots are super cute and functional. I contacted Zappos today and they're sending me a replacement pair. I'm going to keep my fingers crossed that the next ones don't split. I'll be sad - and have wet feet. I live in rainy Seattle so I can't take a chance of having rain boots that don't work.

I've had these boots for almost 2 years now, so they've gone through 2 rainy seasons. I have gotten complimented on these boots so many times (I have the teal ones) and I really love the calf width since I have large calves. There's barely any arch support there and the soles are completely unattached. I don't think they ever came attached, so they slide around for me a lot, which is very annoying. Also, one of the boots is not completely waterproof, so when I step in puddles my sock gets wet. Despite these bad things, I will buy another pair of them because I liked them. They are very stylish and overall worth it in my opinion. I hope the second time around BOTH boots are waterproof.

I bought a pair of these boots and wore them a lot, but within about six months, they cracked and leaked, so they are now useless. I am considering buying another pair, but I wonder whether a pair of boots should last longer than a couple of months.

I love the look of them, and they are comfortable, but I think they run large. The calf opening is big, even with the buckle moved in. I had to return Kamik boots that were too narrow so these in comparison are a better fit.

Super cute but not for me. I didn't love how wide the top was and they are a tad big. I'm a 6/6.5, ordered a 6. Maybe with thick socks they'd fit better.

These boots soot their purpose. I wanted a boot that wasn't too long because stiff rubber boots are already awkward to walk in without adding more length. They're cute enough, fit well, slip on easy, and keep my feet dry. It still seems like a lot to pay for a rubber boot though!

I spent way more than I would on shoes normally, but liked the style of these boots a lot. They are very comfortable, however, the insert for the shoe dislodged from the bottom and crumpled up under my foot within the first couple times of me wearing them. I would expect this out of cheaper shoes but was disappointed it happened with these. I ultimately had to remove the insert and the shoes aren't as comfortable but still a quality rain boot!

These boots are great for women who have very large calves and can't wear tall boots. I am borderline and felt they were very wide at the top. Way to much room there. I felt like the rain would be poring into them.

These are lovely boots, but definitely size down. My normal size (8) was huge on me. I returned for a 7, still feels quite roomy.
