First, I must state that these shoes do not have leather uppers or leather linings. This is a cloth shoe with leather decoration. The only leather on the shoe are the straps on the upper. And the straps across the toes don't close anything. Having said that, these shoes were a comfortable fit out of the box. They look good, and seem very well made. I appreciated having a wide width. The size 10 was just a tiny bit too short, which doesn't matter in sandals. There is no size 10.5 which would have been perfect. I tried the size 11, thinking I might wear them with socks because... ...when I wore them for longer than a few minutes, the soles of my feet felt like they were on fire. After a long period of wearing them, my soles were so uncomfortable, I could hardly walk. This is due to the man-made (woman-made?) insole material. Non-leather linings and insoles don't work for me. In the end, as much as I wanted these to work, I don't want to wear socks with sandals, so I sent both pairs back.

Daughter did not like the footbed. Had to return. Otherwise nice looking walking sandal.

The straps on this sandal held my foot comfortably but, regrettably, the foot bed is not smooth or well cushioned. Compared to my old Cobb Hill RevSoothe (which were the perfect sandals) these are not as well designed for comfort.

I wanted to like these but the narrow pad down the center ignore the need for arch support on the rest of the instep. The straps are a bit heavy in the foot as well. I wanted a sightseeing sandal, but this won’t work.

These sandals were not great enough in looks or fit or comfort to keep in my closet. I think I would avoid wearing them. Heavy and clumsy looking. True to my normal size.

This style is not available in black. I tried rhe brown but it's just not fitting with my closet. It's also quite clunky looking on a short foot. Not as comfortable as I had hoped. It's going back and I'm thinking I can't wear an athletic-styled sandal. This isn't my first try at this style. Zappos did their part by providing next day delivery perfectly. Thanks, Zappos!

I was hoping these would have better arch support, but for they were inadequate for my high arched foot. I also felt the style was very masculine. The bonus is that these shoes have 3 adjustable straps: 2 across the top of the foot and 1 in the back. The back strap is very useful to get a secure fit and keep the heel from slipping. I also loved the soft interior of the shoe, but in the end, I ended up returning these for a pair of Keen sandals which had better arch support.

I always wear a 9 but my tops went completely to the edge on the 9. The width was good. I liked the style. It appears that it would have been quite comfortable had it not been short.

I was looking for a supportive sandal for traveling and long distance walking. This is a nice looking sandal and seemed pretty supportive but for some reason Rockport puts an extra piece of cushioning on part of the footbed that doesn't go all the way up through the toes. This is soooo uncomfortable. It feels like a step down right under the ball of your foot. I bought two pair of Rockport sandals and both have the same thing. So back they both go. I got the Taupe color in these and, I don't know if it's supposed to look this way, but the shoe looks dirty. I'm not sure if it's supposed to look "distressed" or if someone wore these and returned them but the leather sides looked dirty. Not the greatest arch support either.

It's not wide enough for me to wear. It feels like it's a little more than regular, but not as wide as you'd hope it to be.

So why go to all the trouble to make a comfortable shoe, have the leather lined with fabric, have the nice solid sole with support in all the right places, and then give it a footbed with a raised, stitched portion to give me blisters? What is up with that Rockport. These shoes were sooooo close but the footbed just kept bumming me out.

not a wide toe...even though a Wide, toe is fixed and not adjustable and not comfortable for a person with high arches. Returns are super easy with Zappos!

These are cute sandals, however, be warned. If you have special needs where width is concerned, the strap adjustment at the toes is not functional, it is decorative. It does not adjust. For this reason, I had to return them. Other than that, they are nice sandals.

I really liked the feel of this shoe, but the strap in the back is positioned in a way that it fits loosely and moves up and down when walking.

I felt like the heel on my right foot kept slipping to one side of the sole of the shoebed. (My heel would slip to the inside edge). Very disconcerting.

The shoe was too narrow, I wear a medium width, but it didn't fit. The shoe was good quality. I have not worn this brand before, now I know to order it wider.

Shoe looked good and felt okay but I noticed a little lumpiness against my foot right where the buckle that the strap goes through. Looking at in inside you can see that the cushioning is too small and was very lumpy where the buckle was. It also had kind of shoddy stitching inside. I took some pictures but don't see a way to upload them here. I also ordered the same sandal in taupe in 8.5W instead of 8.5M and it had a much flatter and more comfortable pad under the buckle, and the stitching was much more even. I think they need to work on quality control. I'm returning the brown ones and exchanging the taupe for 8.5M -- we'll see if they have the same problem.

I haven't had these sandals more than about 3 months, and I am not happy with the footbed wear. The leather has bunched up and causes irritation to the bottom of my foot. I do walk a lot each day in the sandals, but I don't know how much longer I will be able to tolerate this problem. I am disappointed, as I had read the reviews before my purchase and felt sure this was the sandal for me.

Despite what others said, there is little or no arch support in this sandal and the toe area has little room for adjustment. Otherwise, very attractive sandal.

These are very cute, I was hoping that they would be alternatives to the Ecco. And if it was not for the foot bed that has some cushion sewn in that hits the ball of my foot in just that - oh I will never get to wear these for long way - they might have. They are going back.

I ordered size 8W in Cobb Hill Fiona. This is a very sturdy sandal with a padded, comfortable footbed. I found the sole to be too luggy and inflexible for me. The length was longer than my usual size 8 (too long past my toes), and the wide width was very wide. (I think it would be great is you have difficulty ordering wide in other shoes and still find them to be too narrow for you). I would have preferred it a bit less wide. Finally, the strap across the toe is decorative, NOT adjustable.

The raised "support" areas in footbed hurt my foot
