This is a comfortable and well fitting walking sandal. If you want a casual well fitting and practical sandal to wear with jeans or shorts this one is for you.

I'm returning these is because the stitching/padding on one foot wasn't in the right place or something. After wearing around the house for a bit I could feel a discomfort. Otherwise, I liked this sandal. Will order another pair to try.

This is a great shoe and I had hoped they would be perfect for walking all day on trips; but the back strap is too low for me and would rub during really long walks. The ball of my left foot also hurt, but that is just me, since the right foot was fine. It's a well made shoe and worth trying if you need something sturdy. It's also a nice looking shoe that doesn't look clunky.

Bought these as I needed something easy to put on. They are comfortable but don't adjust as well as they could or should. Have given up on Merrill shoes. They just don't fit like they use to and some styles have been cheapened in all ways but cost. Too bad as they were my favorites.

Just got these, so my review is based on short-term use. The shoes are attractive, adjust in 3 places and fit perfectly. I usually use orthotics, which I haven't put in these and they're still comfortable. I've had a long run of PF. Also bought the Wink, but haven't worn them. Bought Cobb Hill on the recommendation of my PT, who also has PF and recommends these highly. I agree. Do wish they'd put in a bit more arch support for those of us who need it.

Wish I'd bought 8W instead of 7.5. Also is cushioned but doesn't have arch support so I'm back with my orthotics.

My only negative...due to major foot surgery and swelling this may not work for me at this time. Thought the front closure was fully adjustable as the other straps are. Other than that these are very comfortable sandal. Footnote: They are by New Balance.

These shoes are stylish and comfortable. I ordered them because my feet are extra wide and are usually hard to fit. I thought the adjustable straps on these shoes would allow me expand the shoe to fit my feet. However, the Velcro is not quite long enough and the straps come apart sometimes.

Fit is true to size, love Cobb Hills as a rule. However, the stitching was very rough and the buckle on top of the toe is really non-functional. Had to return.

This is a beautiful well-made shoe. For a normal foot it would probably be very comfortable. I have crazy sensitive feet and am dealing with sesamoiditis and some heel pain/plantar fascitis. For me, this did not have enough arch support or shock absorption. However it is a really nice-looking cushioned shoe. The adjustable straps make it fit perfectly, and it looks more petite and less clunky than other river-type shoes. Maybe someday when my feet are feeling better I can try it again! Oh, and the sizing is true for me- sandals I wear an 8, closed toe shoes usually an 8.5, and running/athletic shoes often a 9. The 8 fit nicely just as expected.

Difficult to replace my Columbia Surf Sides. These are close. Comfortable. Well made. Problem with heel sliding & causing knees to twist. Heel strap is a bit too low. The strap over toes needs to be adjustable because if we have sensitive painful feet, we choose adjustable. I like these and will wear around house for a day. Heel sliding is major drawback.

I really liked the fit and feel of this shoe. However, it did not hold up under the heavy abuse (particularly daily water & mud) of my outdoor job. In 4-4.5 months the foot bed is shot and the tread is showing wear.

Not enough of an arch for me, but then I have high arches.

I wanted to love these sandals. The fit and size were fine. However, the insole has a piece of material sewn over top of it and this piece rubs right behind the ball of my foot. No way I can wear them. Its a shame, otherwise they would be great.

I bought a pair of these in 8.5W in 2020 and they fit wonderfully. When I bought a replacement pair this year they are signifigantly shorter and narrower. I have a feeling I'm going to be doing a few returns until I figure out what the old 8.5W has turned into. (sigh)

I really wanted these to fit as its my favorite shoe brand for my hard to fit extra wide feet. The problem is I needed to loosen the forefoot strap but it doesn't actually allow that. It looks like it does but NOPE! I'm so tired of shoe companies doing this. Please- designers listen to our needs!

I wanted to like these, but like the Ecco Yucatan, the toe band is not really adjustable. You can tighten it, but not loosen it, and these were too tight across my toes. Also, the arch is way too far forward for me. The highest point of the sole landed under the ball of my foot, which is not where my arch is.

These fit ok and were overall nice sandals, but there is an extra padding stitched on the top of the sole that drove me crazy. I guess it tickled my feet and I just could not get used to it. There are other similar styles that don't have anything on the sole, so I'm going to switch.

These were super comfortable in the footbed but the heel strap dug in. Poor design of heel strap. very irritating and rubbed heel badly

I was disappointed. The look is good, the sole comfortable, the quality very good. When I fastened the strap across the midfoot however, it rubbed against my leg with every step. Tried all kinds of adjustments with no luck. I have a somewhat high arch; maybe this sandal is not designed for that. So I need to return them.

This is the third pair of these that I have bought, and the first pair that were not comfortable right out of the box. I was shocked. I tried moving the strap closures around, but it made no difference. I feel like the company has changed the style a little. They look a little narrower and more stylish, but were less comfortable. From the stitching under the foot, to the strap that I could only fasten halfway. What happened? I’m so sad that I had to return them. Tried wearing them round the house to no avail. My other shoes all fit the same, so it isn’t my feet that have changed I don’t think. I do have fairly high instep, but the two other pairs that I owned, I wore until they fell apart, fit me fine. I may try a larger pair in the future, but right now I’m too depressed about the whole thing.
