Fit great everywhere except the bust which felt very wide around the sides, almost like the elastic had stretched out. I'm a 32C and size 4/6 and got the medium in this suit and it fit nice everywhere except there - my chest would have flopped out the sides - so had to return. If you have a very large bust it might be a great suit.

I like this suit a lot. It has great coverage and a low back, which I think is much more attractive than a high back. I am 150 lbs, 5'7" and found the size 12 fit well. It was comfortable too.

This is my third Carve swimsuit purchase and my second Beacon one piece. I have gotten rid of all of my non Carve swimwear because, frankly, no other swimsuit I owned was as comfortable, flattering, and easy to wear. The Beacon is a classic without being dowdy. It looks great on and stays put for swimming in the ocean and pool. The fabric feels good and I especially like the style in the back.

Love this suit and design. It's very flattering to any size or shape. It's made with the highest quality material and completely lined as well. I highly recommend this bathing suit and Zappos. I received it the very next day after I ordered. Awesome.

This is an amazingly comfortable and flattering suit. It is cut high enough under the arms to hide any bulge. As a previous reviewer noted, the straps in back do tend to "flip" but aren't hard to flatten. I also removed the shelf bra inserts as they didn't stay put and weren't really necessary for coverage. The fabric is very nice quality. I bought it in blue which I don't see on the site anymore. I only wish there were more colors.

Great for swimming laps in a pool. I am 55 and the straps are fine, and the fabric is not pilling at all. Order one size down though: usually I'm a small, but the extra small fits just right.

I usually buy a Med in bathing suits but this one fits perfectly in a small. Love the suit. It fits well and looks good!

Just ordered this suit in Large Indigo Paisley for an upcoming surf trip. LOVE. The swimsuit has a very flattering neckline and seat coverage - cute yet not over exposed. The print is gorgeous. I was a bit concerned that it wouldn't be supportive enough for me with the low back, but the positioning of the straps a bit higher on the torso means the "girls" are fully held in place. Can't wait to take this on my trip!

I am in love with this swimsuit! It is very flattering on the back with the crisscross straps. I have a DD chest, and this suit is surprisingly supportive, despite not having wires or padding. It hugs my body in all the right places. I only wish it was a thicker/tighter material, like a similar style Body Glove suit I tried.

The little black dress of bathing suits. Easy style; neither too high, nor too low at the leg opening or at the neckline with a scoop back for some interest. This suit does run large. I purchased an XS for my teenage daughter who is 5'6 and 125; it was too large. It fit me perfectly and I'm 5'8, 135lbs.

I love these suits. This is my third of this style. Carve has a great fit for functionality. As a mom of three I cant wear skimpy little things, modesty is important for my body and for my girls to see. Not a mom suit but a great hip alternative!

Love it! Just wish I'd bought it earlier in the summer. I'm 57 yrs. old, 5'6", wear 12s-14s/large in most clothes. The size large suit fit perfectly. As a few others noted, the suit is extremely flattering, provides good coverage, and is stylish. I do mostly lake swimming, some chlorine pool swimming in winter. It's true, the straps don't alway lie flat, but not a problem for me. I received many compliments on this new suit!

This is a beautiful tank. I am 5'3 and 138 lb, and a 36C, I got the medium and it fit perfectly, no tugging and the back straps are very comfortable and sexy. Great material, and made in the USA too. I love it so much I got the Dandelion and Tulum. I'm in my 50's and this suit makes me look great. Do not hesitate to buy.

Love, love, love this suit! The material is delicious, cut is modest yet sexy, and the color of the coral is gorgeous. I normally buy very plain suits but I'm glad I chose a more colorful one. I'm a 43 year old active mama, who surfs, boogie boards, and swims regularly. I need a practical suit and this one is great for all that plus I feel sexy in it. Haven't found a suit I like this much in a long time. In fact, I just bought a second one. After reading the reviews, I decided to buy a large--although most of my previous suits are in the medium (8-10) range and it fits really well. Also, as a woman who usually needs a lot of support in my suits, I like this because it provides support and coverage without having underwire or a lot of bulky material. Plus, an added bonus, the company is awesome (started by 2 surfing mamas) and the suit is made in the US! And, for the quality, it's very reasonably priced. What's not to love? Thank you Carve Designs! I'm totally sold and will continue to buy their clothes. I also have a Carve rash guard it's it's amazing too!

The suit is made of beautiful, high quality fabric. The color is my favorite--a deep, rich, coral that looks good on everyone. I purchased the suit for pool exercise. I did go up one size, to a medium, due to the tightness of the straps at the shoulder. I am 5'7" and weigh 130.

I am just LOVING this swimsuit. I just tried it on, and I know this is going to be a favorite until I wear it out (which is hopefully many years). The heft of the fabric is substantial, which I think is great, and will add to longevity. The walnut hibiscus print is really nice - colorful without being too flashy. Surprisingly, I settled on a size Small for this item - I am typically a M/L. I also tried on the Large, which was way too big. Medium was out of stock, so I tried the Small on a lark, and it totally works! For reference, I am 5'9" with a short torso and 32DDD chest and small bottom. A more average-proportioned lady at my height would probably be comfortable in a medium. I love the internal shelf bra - you can't tell there's one at all (sometimes they can be bunchy), but it provides welcome support. I also appreciate the cut of the leg - it's not too modest at all, but more like a hipster line, as opposed to high leg, which I feel is more flattering on me. Overall, I'm super excited about this purchase, and I can't wait to wear it! I'm on an adult swim team, and I'm tempted to wear it instead of my workout suits! But I'm going to try to save it for my vacation to Maui this summer...

Comfortable and good coverage. It was perfect to wear all day for an active cruise excursion. Straps added a nice look as well! I tend to have a long torso for swimsuits but had no issue with this one.. pretty true to size.

Great suit, but not for older women with the spaghetti straps. Like the cut and look, just make the straps more flattering for an older shoulder and back.

I wanted to love this but couldn't get a good fit. Am a small on top and medium on bottom, so one half was either too loose or tight. The style and pattern are super cute though. Trying the tankini in the same pattern. For reference, I'm 5'2", about 128, and athletic build.

Really like that this suit can be worn in the ocean on rough days and for water sport activities without the concern of it revealing anything while still looking feminine and not like a generic athletic suit.

Love this suit and the pattern. It's flattering and comfortable. I can swim laps easily in it, yet it doesn't look like a "sports" suit.

Fabulous fabric and fit...I'm an older ex swimmer have gained weight and this suit is perfect...I'd love the legs cut a little higher...but really it's perfect
