This is my first pair of Olukai’s. I have tried many on but finally decided to purchase when my 5-year old Vionics finally gave out. I have to say they are comfortable but not near as substantial as I thought they would be. The sole is super thin and I don’t think they will ever last as long as I hoped. Maybe i’ll be wrong - hope so. Overall just feeling average about these shoes. Going to keep them but my jury is out. Not sure the value is there for the price.

Like others have said, you need to find your perfect style of OluKai flip flops and stick to them. These Kulapa Kais are mine. Perhaps it's my long toes and narrowish foot that make these feel ideal. The arch support hits me perfectly in the size I normally wear and I wear them as much as possible in warm weather as they helped me recover from plantar fasciitis and ward off it's return.

The arch support was nice but I have a narrow toe area and these are very wide at the toe. Compared to my Havaianas, exceedingly wide fit. Returning both pair.

Love these. Very comfortable and stylish. I been buying a new pair every year. I wear them every day in th summer. Highly recommend best flip flop I’ve owned.

Love these. On my second pair after constant wear of the first for 2-3 years. So comfortable and flattering. I am an 8.5 and order a half size up. I have fairly narrow feet.

These are nice. I needed a little more arch support, so I returned these for Ohana. But these are a close second. The thin straps probably make these cuter than Ohana. If you’re wanting to wear with dresses, this one may be a better choice over Ohana.

I've owned several pairs of OluKai's, and these are the most comfortable. Perfect for around the pool, at the beach, or on the boat due to water resistant material.

Been buying various OluKai shoes for years. As a rule I buy them 1 size to small because they eventually stretch out and become looser. The smaller size stays on better and stays supportive through constant use for at least two years.

My foot measures between a 7 and 7.5 M. I wear a 7 in most flip flops. These had such high ratings and I had hopes they would fit. They are 1/2 size too small and too tight in the toe area. The pink strap digs into the top of my foot. I have a fairly narrow and small foot. I wish, like many others, this shoe came in a half size. Unfortunately will have to return.

This is the best flip flop I have ever owned, and I have tried a lot of brands! It is snug with great support without being tight, pinching or rubbing. I own probably 4 pair in several colors! Can’t say enough good things about this shoe!

It's so nice to find a flip flop that isn't only comfortable but that's a little more stylish than most. Super cute.

Writing this review to help others with wider feet who struggle to find Olukai sandals that fit. I was able to try on four different styles in a store. I don’t always need a wide width but my feet are on the wider side and I have a moderately high arch so straps on sandals are often tight on me. I ended up buying these (the Kulapa Kai) and the Kia’i Wahine. I found the Ohana and Paniolo straps to be way too tight. I knew I’d have blisters. The Kia’i Wahine definitely seems to be a somewhat nicer/heavier shoe than the Kulapa Kai. I got the Kulapa Kai in the blue which is pretty and unique, but it does have a sporty look. I got the Kia’i Wahine in black, which I felt could be a little dresser than the Kulapa Kai. The straps on the Kulapa Kai are slightly looser than the Kia’i Wahine, but I felt both would probably work for casual activity. I have been cautiously wearing them around Hawaii on vacation and have been ok so far. I don’t think I’d wear them for serious walking though as I still fear the strap would chafe. I wear 10.5 and Olukai only come in whole sizes so I sized up to an 11 in both models. The 10 was too small both in the footbed and in tightness of the strap. Hope this helps!

Love these. More cushion than my other pair and fits my arch perfectly. Ordered 7 as suggested even though sometimes I'm a 7.5. It's just right. Hoping not to have my plantar fasciitis return w the support of these.

I was cautiously optimistic to read other reviews that suggested they ran narrow. My feet are a normal medium width but bony. I wear a 9.5 shoe, 10 Nike sneaker so I ordered a 9 and 10 in the flip flop. The 10 was too loose and the 9 fit like a glove. So I kept the 9. The only adjustment for me is the downward slant of the heel which I find unusual. They are worth the money. Hoping in the future we will see a sole in a summer color; a color other than black.

These are like walking on a cloud. The price for flip-flops seems ridiculous, until you try them on. I had a pair for several years and literally wore them out (blew out the toe strap), and didn’t think twice before ordering them again. In the couple of days that I waited for my Zappos delivery I wore a $30 pair of flip flops and they were awful—uncomfortable and stiff. I haven’t taken the new ones off. I’m a solid 7.5 in shoes, and the 8 fits perfectly.

Awesome flip flops!

After years of wearing cheap flip flops, my feet were killing me so my doctor recommended a higher quality flip flop with arch support. I ordered these and they are amazing. I am a solid 6 1/2 so I ordered both 6 and 7. I ended up with the 6 because for me, the 7 just seemed a little loose and too much sole showing. 6 feels great...these can be worn all day. The strap felt perfect right out of the box, very comfortable material and I like how the top is a little shiny. It dresses it up slightly and doesn't seem like a beach flip flop. I purchased the silver and wear them to work and then I had to order the Java / Java so I had another pair. If you are having foot or heel issues, these are simply the best flip flop out there!

YOU HAVE TO BUY THESE FLIP FLOPS. LEAVE THE HAVAINAS REEFS AND THE CHEAPO FLIP FLOPS BEHIND. THESE WERE TOTALLY AWESOME AND LOOK WONDERFUL ON ANYONE.

This is my second pair of OluKai Kulapa Kai W - Love these flips. I chose the slightly shiny strap in black because it does dress them up a bit. I'm still wearing my first pair that I purchased at a local shop 4/5 years ago. I wear them rather hard in the warmer months. The sole of the right flip separated at the toe & I simply gorilla glued it back. These flips are the most comfortable and durable ever. I need the arch support - it's just right; and the cushion keeps my plantar fascitis pain at bay.
