I had a couple of issues with these shoes. Like others, they did not fit well even though for me the size and width worked. The arch/ball of foot area did not suit my foot; the shoes just felt too stiff. The other issue was that the seaming around the top of the shoe hit the top of my foot in an uncomfortable way. Overall these shoes just felt too stiff, with little give.

Entirely uncomfortable shoe. Toe box too short. Only shoe I would classify as painful. Haven't bought Hush Puppy shoes in a long time, and now I remember why.

I bought these shoes to replace my favorite clogs. Unfortunately the first pair I received was too small. The edge of the toe box cut across the bone above my big toe and the heel left a clear imprint although I only wore the shoes for a few seconds. I returned them for a pair a half size larger and discovered that the new shoes were too large. Back they go and I may give Hush Puppies a miss from now on.

These weren't exactly super-attractive in the photo, and in person they are even less so. The toe is really wide, rounded and bends up dramatically like clown shoes. The heel is really, really wide -- I can't imagine how anyone could wear these without a heel pad there to take up some space. Back they go.

I wanted to like these shoes. I have two other pairs of loafer style (same type of look) Hush Puppies fairly similar to these, so I ordered the same size (8). Those felt like my toes were being crunched and smashed together, but fairly fine elsewhere. I tried half a size up, and as suspected, they were slipping off my feet. If you wear other loafer-style Hush Puppies, do not count on the fit being similar.

I love the look of the shoe and the narrow width was perfect but the leather is hard and stiff which makes it uncomfortable.

I usually wear a 7 1/2, but I was walking out of these. The 7 was too small, though. They look cute so I was disappointed.

I thought this was going to be the perfect comfortable work shoe. First off it fits a whole size larger than I usually wear. Second, it was stiff and uncomfortable anyway. I could have ordered a size down to try again, but I didn't like the look of it enough to reorder. This one's going back!

Terrible! The sole of this shoe is too rigid, no flex and it's curved! ..you feel like your walking on rocking chairs! Awful!!!

Not a comfortable shoe at all! I should have paid better attention to the reviews saying how uncomfortable this shoe was. The seam, the lack of arch support, and the air pocket by the heal. They even looked worse on my foot than they did in the picture. Seeing the positive reviews convinced me to try them. Luckily Zappos is very helpful with their return process so no harm done.
