I LOVE LOVE these shoes! They fit comfortably from the start - no break in period. I did have change sizes though - I normally wear a 10 and had to go with a 9.5 in these. They are super cute with jeans and capris and I get lots of compliments. The only issue is that it doesn't provide my flat arches with the optimal support so I find I can only wear these a couple of hours before my feet start to hurt.

These shoes are perfect! They are just wanted I wanted - essentially flats with more support and a smidge more classic style. I don't want to look frumpy, but I am also NOT a trend setter. I wear them to the office regularly, they look great with almost anything, plus my feet aren't killing me at the end of the day. Made me come back to check out other styles by this brand.

Simple, basic and very attractive shoe style. Comfortable for people with wide feet having a high instep. Perfect dressier shoe for when an open toe would not be appropriate.

I have these in black as well. I have very wide toes and a bunion and was able to order these in a wide. They are a little odd in that they have a bit of a bump around the ball of my foot but I really like how they look and I can wear them with or without socks. The little bit of wedge heel adds interest rather than just being flat.

Great, comfortable casual dress shoe. Great with or without socks. I got the wide and went down a half size and it is perfect.

I ordered several pair of similar shoes before finding these. Very comfortable. Stylish. Dressy enough for work; casual enough for everyday. Order half a size smaller than your usual size.

I just ordered the last pair of these in black in size 12, so now I can review them and talk about how amazing they are. They are the perfect shape, size, and can be dressed up or down. I usually NEVER wear shoes like this for casual wear, but I can actually see myself wearing the black ones out and about. The tan color will be the perfect "nude" color for me in the summertime. They are incredibly well made and I can tell that they will conform to my foot perfectly as I wear them. I didn't want to spend money on shoes, but these are totally worth it. Thanks Zappos!

These shoes are perfect for everyday work use. They are comfortable and Stylish. They pair well with a skirt suit and pants.

I'm so very happy with these shoes. Simple design fits my lifestyle and the low profile is understated but flattering. It's not easy to find that for a long skinny foot!

Excelente shoes, good support, did not bother my feet at all at the beginning. I wear them to work every day. They look casual but dressy at the same time.

These are beautiful, high quality shoes, a very classy casual shoe with the best arch support I have seen in quite awhile. Want to take good care of these for my go to "elegant" casual shoes which will make a great simple look without trying too hard.

I ordered the 6WW. That is a good fit for WW foot with a high arch, but my heel slips. Also the very round toe gives these shoes a little bit of dowdy look. Otherwise, they are nice quality leather shoes.

I really like the look of this shoe. Usually I aim for an 11W in shoes. I tried the 11W Alter Pump, which was much too long the width was good though. Reorder the 10W too short width still good. Then I realized a worn out comfortable flat by Hush Puppies, that I really liked and fit well was and 11 M. So reorder again the Alter Pump by Hush Puppies in an 11M. Length was good in the 11M but just a little too tight in the toes. Wish they were just a tad wider in the toe better yet wish my feet were a little smaller.

I ordered the 11W which was too long the width was good. Will reorder the 10W. Hope it works because the Alter looks good and felt good on my foot.

Nice shoe but too tight across the front of the shoe. I'm not crazy about the pad they put in the heel area. It bothers me a bit. I sent them back.

I have a really tough time finding shoes due to my bunions. I bought these in wide (D) and they are pretty good overall. Although simple, they're a very nice looking shoe...casual enough to wear with jeans but nice enough to wear with work pants or a skirt. The slightly lifted heel is flattering compared to a completely flat sole. The arch support isn't terrible, but not great either. The two things I don't like about these is (1) the leather is very stiff and (2) the toe curves up slightly at the end, which is odd both in look and feel. They're a bit tight in the toe box for me because of my problem feet, but I'm going to keep them and try to use a stretcher to improve the fit. Both of the colors I ordered ran 1/2 size large in length.

I usually run a 10 or 10.5 so I ordered these in a 10 even though others had said they run a little big. Even with socks on they are still too big on me. I like them enough for my business casual 12 hour on my feet teaching job so I'm exchanging them for a 9.5.

The shoes looked a little larger than the shoes I usually wear (7.5 - 8.0 and B width). I have no foot problems so that was not a consideration. I tried wearing them with socks and that took up enough room for me to keep them. They feel good and I get complements.

This does cut a bit across the top of your foot at first, but I ran some rubbing alcohol over the area the first few times I wore them and they stretched out nicely. Otherwise pretty comfortable and reasonably stylish.

These are my go-to work shoes. I own three pairs and a couple of the Burlesque, too. They are a great compromise for when you need to be comfortable but want to wear something stylish or pretty. Compared to other Hush Puppies, these may be the best fit for large and wide feet, as there is a little bit more room than the Burlesque or their flatter Mary Jane style. They are durable and walkable without looking like a complete dork.

I have bought 2 pair of the Hush Puppies Epic Loafer. I bought the alter pump because it is built on the same soul/last that the epic loafer is so i knew it would be comfortable. However with the wide shoe and lack of elastic loafer over the arch this shoe does not stay on my foot. My heel comes out of the shoe with ever step. I had previously ordered 7.5 for the Epic Loafer but had to re order a size 8 since my toes were too crowded but this shoe seems at least .5-1.0 too big. I won't reorder this shoe in a smaller size and instead will go to another brand for a navy blue loafer.

The front of the shoe turns up quite sharper than I would have expected from the photo. Felt as though I was wearing elves shoes. Quality of the shoes is what you would expect from Hush Puppies but the style left you desiring more.

Great shoe. A little tight at first, give it time and it will loosen.

Unfortunately, my guess that the toe box would be too short was correct. My big toe was touching the top of the shoe. Otherwise, seemed well made.

Mostly comfortable, but your foot sits oddly in the shoe. Your toes are on an upward slant, which sometimes makes it uncomfortable for the ball of your foot. Otherwise, great - nice and wide when ordering WW.
