This is my second pair of Orthaheel Carlas. The arch support is incredible and I look forward to wearing them, whether it's to work with a cute sundress or just bumming around the house.

I love these saddles. They were comfortable the first time I wore them. I wore them all day on a trip and wore them the next day. Should have given a day of rest because I formed a blister on the top of my foot. Giving my feet a rest will let me wear them again.

These shoes are really comfortable! I am wearing them while I recover from PT tendonitis and torn deltoid ligaments, and the base has as much support as my orthopedic inserts. As other reviewers say, you really can't tell they are orthopedic. The one drawback, for those of you looking to use these for injury recovery, is that if you wear them a few days in a row, you'll notice they obviously don't support as well as a pair of lace-up shoes because your foot can slide around a bit.

I love Orthaheels. I have heel spurs and these are very comfortable and this pair especially dressy, not quite a sandal but would work just the same.

Love these! I have plantar fasciitis and wear orthotics in most of my shoes. Podiatrist recommended these as an option to wear sandals and they are great! Last pair lasted 2 summers wearing 3-4 days per week and bought these to replace them. Price is steep but worth it if you need the support.

I love these sandals! After years of operating room nursing on hard floors my arches are sore and tender 24/7. At last a pretty flip floppy shoe to show off pedicures without crippling pain. Comfy and cute right out of the box. My feet are a little wide and these straddle the gap between regular and wide widths for me. Totally recommend! I wish they made a good closed toe work option.

I have had 3 foot surgeries and am always looking for cute shoes with great support. These fit the bill. While my feet do get fatigued if I walk a lot, for running errands and normal work day they are great.

I bought these as walking sandals, and the arch support is as great as I hoped. However, because the inside of the strap is nonporous (leather? vinyl?) it stuck and rubbed on my feet when I tried to walk longer distances, and I started to get blisters. With a suede or canvas lining instead I'd have given these five stars.

I like these Orthaheel. They are the first Orthaheel I bought, and they made a difference in my feet. I wore them longer each day and it took about 3 days to adjust to them. I'm happy with them.

These are okay shoes, but not like the others that I own. The foot bed is not as wide and the entire shoe feels a bit softer. I had to return these shoes with deep regret.

Pay attention to the reviews that indicate that arch support and styling vary widely within this brand! I own a "life-saving" pair of Orthaheel "Tide" flip flops in a 9, which are just slightly loose through the straps, but are still excellent for supporting my metatarsal arch as I work around my home. I came back to Zappos for more Orthaheel shoes since I have had such a great experience with the "Tide" shoe. I bought the "Carla" flip flop hoping to find the identical fit and support in a dressier shoe for days when I want to shop for a long time, etc. I am disappointed that this sandal is narrower than the "Tide" and my foot hangs over the edge. Also, and even more disappointing, the arch support is nowhere near as good as it is in the "Tide." One would think that such expensive shoes would be more consistent in their sizing! I will not be reordering this shoe, as it is not going to fit me no matter what size I try.

I really want to like these, but the strap is too short and runs against my feet. Much break-in time with socks is required. Would not buy again and I'd return them if they still had the name on the heel cup.

I wear a 9 1/2, ordered a 9. Shoe is barely long enough but works. Very comfy -- more so than my Birkenstocks. Got lots of compliments on the style.

The toe strap was set a bit too far back for my comfort, leaving about half an inch above my toes. The arch support was moderate.

Super cute and comfy however strap was too tight and dug into top of my foot, I have a slender foot so I found that odd. Also bought a pair of Tide and love love them

I am not a fan of the woodgrain and wish it was not so bedazzled, but at least the add-ons are a similar tone as the straps. I prefer a more versatile style (ie Munro Vanna, if only it worked for me) that lets me bedazzle myself via my choice of jewelry, belts, etc. I hesitate to use sophisticated to describe flip-flops, ha, but yes, a little more of that, please. Still they look better than most and are cute. My instep is high and I am unsure that I could tolerate them long enough to break-in the cheap straps without rubbing blisters and abrasions on my feet. Usually when someone tells me "it will break in", I respond, "Are you going to wear them and break them in for me? Because if it hurts, I cannot wear them long enough to 'break them in'." So I feel "breaking in" is usually just a sales pitch. This footbed is not as supportive for me as the Tide. Still, there are not too many options out there for some arch support, so I may give them a whirl. Orthaheel, please make cute straps out of quality material (ok, I will pay more to get the right thing!) - and with a Tide footbed if possible!

Another pretty summer shoe, but for walking hours during cruise excursions, I fear the short height of the thong piece between the toes, will cause blistering. Otherwise, very nice shoe. Sadly, back they go. Thank you Zappos for making returns so easy.

I am a half size so I ordered down, as instructed. Too small. The sandal is very cute and the color is beautiful. I am not certain how comfortable it would be though...it felt very hard.

I love the look of these sandals and I can finally wear pretty flip-flops even with my plantar fasciitis. I usually wear size 6 1/2 or 7, or 6 or 6 1/2 for sandals. I ordered a size 6 and they were a little snug, partly because I have a high instep. The size 7 fit perfectly. I will be buying more. I do, however, wish they were leather for this price.

These were absolutely beautiful sandals! I loved them, but they were like a full size larger than I needed them. I wear a 10 almost everywhere, and a 9 1/2 occasionally. I'm going to reorder these in a 9 since I don't see any half sizes available.

I love the style of these shoes but like some other reviewers have said, the post is too far back for my foot. I have an 8 in 2 other Orthaheel styles and they fit great. In this style, the overall size of the 8 was good but my heel hangs off the back and there's too much room at the front. Going up a size would just be way too big. Sadly, these had to go back.

I struggled to get my feet all the way into this sandal, but the length was about right. It might have even been a big too big. But the width was extremely narrow! My pinky toes slipped off the sides!

I normally wear a size 10 and these were too small by about 1/2 a size. Technically my whole foot fit on the shoe, but it was too short for my comfort for a sandal. The next size up was sold out, so I ordered the Lola in an 11.

These are cute but I couldn't get my foot in it. I own another one of their sandals, so it's this style. It was a bit narrow, but mainly it's not deep enough to fit my foot.

These sandals are very pretty and go with everything. That being said, I am a bit disappointed with the Carla II. The side straps are thicker than the previous model and seem stiffer as well (I keep getting blisters). Hopefully they will soften up so that I can wear them on a regular basis. I have never had a pair of Orthaheel sandals that I have had to break in like this.
