I really wanted to love these sneakers, but they really do not offer any arch support. Also, the inner lining or inside layer was weird. I was not sure where to tie the laces (over, under, around?). I would not recommend these shoes to anyone looking for comfortable, stand on your feet all day shoes. I will have to stick to their clogs for now.

Love Dansko, love the look, but this is a clog, not a shoe. I bought these immediately, thinking they were sneakers or walking shoes. But the design is the same as their clogs, not their shoes or boots. The heel is enormous, and when you walk the heel flops up and down. If you want a clog that looks like a shoe/sneaker, this is fine. But if you need the support of a snug heel and laces, this will not work for you. I tightened the laces as much as possible, but the heel still flops like a clog. The statement that the neoprene makes a tighter fit, is misleading at best. There is nothing tight about how this heel fits. I have worn all styles of Danskos for over 20 years, so I do know their products and sizes very well. They did included two pair of laces, one black, the other purple, to give you options with the look. I had to give it a lower rating because the advertising is so misleading. The construction is absolutely fine and I wish Dansko would make a real walking shoe like this. It would be a big seller.

I love Dansko! I have 4 pairs of Dansko, and was so excited to see this shoe. However, the Elise fits just like a typical Dansko: the shoe slides up and down because there is no fitting at the heel. This is okay in a regular Dansko, but in this type of shoe it was very disconcerting! The length was correct, but my foot was literally swimming in this shoe. I am beyond disappointed...they are going back.

I have happily been wearing Dansko canvas sneakers (Veda) for years, and when they discontinued that line and introduced this one, I gave it a try. The problem is, these don't have the stiff rocking sole I am looking for from Dansko. The front of the dole is flexible. If you need a rigid sole for plantar fasciitis or toe problems, this is not the shoe for you. I'm really sad that Dansko has dropped Veda. It was a godsend....cloglike shoes in different styles!

I am a DANSKO fan! I bought this for my daughter who has been having foot issues, thinking the Dansko shoe would help. She told me she tried to wear them several times but they were very uncomfortable. She recently brought them to me since she could not wear them. Oh my she is so correct! They are very uncomfortable, my legs, ankles and ball of my feet hurt so bad after wearing them. Dansko, I'm disappointed.

Cute, fit fine, but made of a flimsy suede on the top. So flimsy they're actually hard to take on and off. More like slippers than shoes. Definitely not the high quality I expected from Dansko.

I LOVE Dansko...it's about all I wear. However, I found this athletic shoe to be seriously lacking in padding/support at the top 1/3 of the shoe. Weird. Everything else was great -- the style, quality, and support in the rest of the shoe was as I would expect of Dansko. Because of back and knee issues, it's imperative for me to have full support. If that is not an issue for you, I'd still recommend the shoe...it's cute, light, and a quality product.

I have bought many Dansko shoes in the past. I expected the sneakers to be as comfortable as the other styles Dansko makes. These were not comfortable, in fact, they made my arches ache

These are the cutest shoes and I was so excited about them, but as soon as I put them on I knew I could not use them for walking in Paris or even at the gym. They have no support for the ball of the foot. So disappointing because I expected them to be up to normal Dansko standards. I am returning them.

I fell in love with these shoes, but, sadly, they do not measure up to the Dansko name for arch support. The arch support I expect to feel in Dansko products was not present. My feet hurt after just a few minutes wearing these around the house. I wear Dansko or Orthaheel products all of the time, so I expect good support with comfort. Unfortunately, these shoes did not deliver either.

I buy shoes -- and Dansko in particular -- for the foot solutions they provide: specifically, rigid sole (for plantar fasciitis relief) and supported arch (which helps relieve heel spur). This shoe has none of that. It has an unreinforced sole, so it provides none of the usual Dansko stability. It seems to have an extraordinarily wide ankle opening, and a boxy shape overall (which I did not find attractive). I bought two other Dankso shoes in the same size (same order), but this was the only one of the three that was too large. It is the only one I will be returning. FYI, I bought size 41.

It looked okay...but was small in size. I wear an 8.5 so I ordered the 39 which said 8.5-9. My toe was touching the top and that was not comfortable. I returned them, couldn't wear that all day.

Very disappointed in these shoes. Good for wearing around to do quick errands. Very poor for extended walking. My feet were screaming at me after a 2 mile walk. Have worn Dansko Pro for work with no problems.

These were so disappointing. I love Dansko Volley shoes and was hopeful that this sneaker style would be just as comfortable but in a sporty style. Sadly, the sole is so thin that it feels like I am walking with a thin piece of paper between the floor and my feet. There is not room for any additional sole padding. I love the style, but so wish that Dansko would combine the think clog sole with this sporty look! I had to return them.

These are the strangest shoes I have ever tried on. The suede part just sort of flops there and you can't tighten the laces enough to help. Then there is this odd separate piece, a sort of rubbery thong like thing the purpose of which I don't get. They look cute in the photo but a person would like to actually wear the shoes and feel like they had shoes on.

This shoe is no ware near the fit and comfort of the other Dansko lines. This shoe hurts my heel and my feet feel sore at the end of the day. I'm a restaurant manager and am on my feet all day every day. I love the Dansko shoes I wear. Every pair have been perfect until this one.
