Best shoe ever. I got these for a walking-intensive vacation. They look great, and make my size 9 1/2 feet look smaller - my feet stay warm (cold climate), and they are super comfortable from the very beginning. I have a bunion on one foot, and the wider toe box is awesome, without looking like super wide shoes.

Love, love these shoes! I have difficulty finding great shoes due to a previous foot injury and my large shoe size. I love these shoes, they are totally cute and are very comfy. I usually wear the Dansko clogs, but wanted some thing a little more summery and stylish. These shoes totally fit the bill. While I find that I can't wear them as comfortably as my clogs for long periods on my feet, they are great for regular everyday wear!

I love these shoes. I cannot wear the Dansko clogs because of my instep is too high. These are tie so that problem is gone. Great support. My toes don't get squished. It's all good. I am going to take them to wear in the OR and get another pair for home/ gym.

These are extremely comfortable, I use orthotics in my shoes and they fit fine inside the shoe. I never needed to break them in as they were perfect from the first step I took. I would like a pair in every color.

The shoes are very comfortable; the wide toe box makes them just right for walking. I bought them for a trip to Europe but didn't want traditional tennis shoes. They work well for city and for country walks.

I really liked the look of this shoe & Danskos are one of my favorite brands. I found this shoe to be very true to size and has great arch support! I have very high arches and tend to underpronate because of it. They needed no break in period. Wore them all day right out of the box without issue. The gray color is a very nice neutral color. The blue is more of a turquoise which is not my favorite color, but I love the gray so much I can learn to like the blue. Dansko you never disappoint me!

These shoes were pure heaven the moment I stepped into them. I wore them for a full day of walking, right out of the box for 10 hours straight and at the end of the day my feet felt fantastic! They are, without a doubt, the most comfortable tennis shoes that I have ever owned. I have been experiencing some pretty severe heel pain for the past several weeks and frankly was dreading all of today's planned walking events, but with these shoes, the pain was nearly non existent. I cannot say enough good things about them. All I can say is, I want more and I hope to order another pair in a different color. The pair I have are the mocha color and they go with everything and make my legs look pretty. Dansko, congratulations on a job well done!

This shoe has a lot of support and is really comfortable. I've tried so many different styles due to problems with my knees, and this one has been great. I love the style - I'll probably buy different colors as well. It goes without saying that Zappos is the best online store! Always shipped on time and returns are easy and free.

Very comfortable! Immediately. Maybe on the wide or big side, but with my bunions and bunionettes? These are very nice, airy, soft and supportive. I'll let you know how they wear- the color? as shown, very fresh and springy!

Dansko is really stepping up their design-game when it comes to a fashionably attractive shoe. The Elise looks like a high-end walking shoe and has the reliable comfort -- deep toe box, well-fitting heel-cup, etc. -- that all Danskos have. The white leather is bright and soft. These shoes look really sharp with shorts, jeans and other casual pants. Try them out!

These shoes are very pretty, and seem well-made. They have decent support for most people, although there is no room for an orthotic insert (such as Dr. Scholl's) and no ankle support. They were very tight around the top of my foot at first, but I am breaking them in and they are getting better. There is a lot of toe room, though, so I guess if you have long toes or something, this would be a good shoe for you. I wouldn't classify this as a good shoe for heavy walking, but for light to moderate amounts they are comfortable.

I love my the style. I wasn't sure at first, but after I put it on and wore it, they were great. My foot runs a little wide, so the wider toe box was great! I haven't noticed the heel slippage that others have commented on. I too, have plantar fasciatis, and the arch support was good. I will probably order another pair.

I need a black, non-skid shoe for catering. I have two other Dansko styles; this is the only brand I can wear for 8-10 hours without once sitting down. These are still in the breaking-in stage but promise to be as comfortable as the others. Enough said!

I bought these in a 1/2 to full size BELOW my normal shoe since these ARE cut large. Once I found the right size, I put my Dr made orthotics in and off I went. I have heel spurs and by taking out the insole and putting my orthotics in these shoes are GREAT.

I wanted a really comfortable shoe/sneaker. I would be traveling and lots of walking was inevitable. Really good support is paramount to keep my plantir fasiatis at bay. Dansko's Elise did just that. They are also super cute! I did have to exchange once as they run wide and were to big. Zappos was stellar, it happened fast and easily.

The weirdest shoe I've ever seen: the description says "A neoprene collar provides a snug fit without being constricting." This is a built-in, non-removable stretchy strap that goes over the ankle. My podiatrist and pedorthist both told me to return the shoes if the strap is not removable.

The fit was comfortable and awesome, unfortunately it says slip resistant but after one wear they were not. This is why I had to return them.

The most comfortable shoe I've ever worn. I walk 10 miles a day at work and this shoe was comfortable from the moment I put them on until I got home and took them off.

I got the Elise because I wanted a Dansko shoe but I'm afraid that the clogs would fall off my feet. I love that there's no pressure in my toe area. I hate the feeling of my toes being too confined and unable to move. The shoe felt like a loose fit at first but I'm confident that it won't fall off because of the neoprene collar, which is sort of just a soft sleeve or strap along the inside of the shoe. They're stable. I don't feel ankle instability in these shoes. Haven't noticed any knee or back pains neither. The sole has a nice firm feel to it without being too hard on your feet, which I love because anything too soft like memory foam sucks in my opinion. (Too much movement and sinking around, not good for my ankle.) I have low flexible arches and getting over plantar fasciitis due to walking and standing a lot more, these shoes have made it easier. I'm a size 9 wide or 9.5 and the size 40 fits well.

These are so unlike normal Danskos in many ways, but they are comfortable and I love them. The soft suede leather and neoprene neck makes these my favorite shoes.

I am on my feet all day and need good support. These shoes are fabulous. Wish I had many more pairs! These beat the traditional Dansko clogs when it comes to standing all day. Please keep making them in many colors!

Love this shoe! It runs a little short but great arch support. The liner around the top is great, keeps the shoe securely on your foot. No flopping around.

Very cute. Top of shoe felt and fit great. Sole was hard and squeaks. Wanted them for work, I'm a nurse 12 hour shifts. Have been searching for shoes. Bummed!

I have trouble with heel pain and have had difficulty finding the right work shoe. These Dansko shoes have great heel support as well as just the right amount of cushioning. Very comfortable all day long. I would definitely recommend these shoes!
