I love my regular Dansko shoes I wear in the winter, so thought I would try a pair of sandals. These are nicely styled yet provide the arch support I need. Unlike a lot of the Dansko shoes, the sole is not as thick, which I like. The fact that there is velcro on the straps for adjustment is a huge plus with these sandals as they can be fit exactly to my foot! I think they are a bit pricey, but Danskos are in general. I hope they last for that price.

I love these shoes, especially how most of the individual straps can be adjusted to fit my feet. The dark blue goes great with jeans and I have received many compliments.

Beautiful, rich looking navy blue color with just the right amount of silver accent - a wonderful shoe. Definitely casual, but could be worn out to dinner on a summer night very easily.

LOVE! I loved these right out of the box. I cant wait to wear them to work. I wore them all day at home. I love the adjust-ability of the straps and the medallions are so pretty.

I love my navy blue patent Dansko Janies! I have a narrow foot and usually wear a 39 or 40 in other Dansko styles. The 39 was a perfect fit! Love the style and comfort and have been wearing them a lot. Even though I have quite a few Dansko sandals, I may have to consider getting this style in other colors.

I had high hopes for these sandals - great arch support, very comfortable all around. I'm a Dansko junkie - this would have been my sixth pair. But each one of the Velcro straps on this sandal has a raw cut end that rubbed against my skin. It reminded me of a shirt tag that irritates your neck. Unfortunately I'll be sending these back.

Buy it, get it, love it! This is my first pair of Dansko's; I'm so glad I gave them a shot. They have the most amazing foot bed and the adjustable straps make for a perfect fit. The arch support is like no other; trust me, I know! I am a solid 9.5 M so in this shoe I ordered the 9.5 - 10 and they are the perfect length and width - there again, the adjustable straps make them perfect. FYI, the only strap that is not adjustable is the first strap that fits across the toes.

Very nice quality with lovely detail. I have plantar fasciitis so needed the arch support and a protective foot bed. This shoe felt similar to a Birkenstock with the cork sole. Dansko has been a trusted shoe for me with my feet problems.

The instant I put them on my feet went, "Ahhhhh." I didn't want to take them off. I have a wider foot so was reluctant to order this medium width shoe, but the Velcro adjustable straps worked great for me. I was able to get a custom fit for my high instep. They are beautifully made, everything you expect from Dansko. This is going to be my go to shoe this summer.

I just received this pair of Janie's in the bronze metallic yesterday, one day after ordering (wow, Thanks Zappos, unbelievable!). I'd ordered a 36 and a 37, not sure how these fit. The 36 fit my normally-sized 6 (36) feet just right, due to the adjustablility of the straps. They feel fine, but I haven't worn them yet, so will update after they've been given a true trial. These are pretty neat for Dansko's, I won't feel like I've traded style for comfort. Not sure how I'd like the other colors, but this color will go great with jeans, khaki's, whatever; just the updated casual look I needed. Of note, when I showed them to my husband (whom I rely on to keep me from looking dowdy), he remarked that they were really "cool". That sealed it.

I love this sandal. I have plantar fasciitis and have to be careful about the type of shoe that I wear. These have excellent arch support. My foot is on the narrower side, so I love the fact that they seem to run a bit narrow (but by no means a narrow width). I often can't wear a slide because my foot moves around in it. But, because the straps are adjustable, these fit great. The only reason I rated them 4 stars out of 5 for style is because it is hard to be stylish and be a comfort shoe. But, as comfort shoes go, the style of these is better than average. I ordered the bronze metallic and love them. I immediately ordered the pewter metallic and expected to like them also. But, something about that color made the shoe look less stylish and more built for comfort. Still, a great sandal.

This shoe is beautiful and a lifesaver for me. It's comfortable in spite of my toe surgery fiasco! Usually I have to wear ugly shoes for comfort but the Dansko Janie gave me a beautiful and comfortable shoe. Most of the straps are adjustable and that helps when my toes are swolen. Thank you Dansko!

So very comfortable, and love that they are adjustable as I have narrow feet and can't find the Dansko to fit until now. Also for narrow feet in a Dansko shoe look at the Sanita, have them too and love them as they fit so well. Thanks to Zappos I finally found shoes for my narrow feet. Love that they let you try them with all the free shipping. Great customer service and wonderful people.

These sandals are comfortable. Each of the straps is Velcro adjustable (except the one closest to toe) which has been great as my feet have changed during pregnancy. I did get a small blister from the first day of wear with lots of walking, so consider breaking the leather in a bit. Overall, another great Dansko shoe!

Very cute, love that the straps can be adjusted. Sadly, doesn't have enough arch support for me. Toe box was a little narrow as well.

My feet are a good fit for narrow Danskos. I purchased this shoe in Ivory and Blue, the velcro is of great quality and stays in place, I am grateful to own them. I am able to wear the shoes I like and know I am getting the best fit and support in a sandal.

I have two pair of these sandals and love them. I need good arch support and these are excellent. I have a wide foot and really appreciate the adjustable straps. I find that as the footbed conforms to my foot I need to tighten the straps a bit. Very versatile shoe.

I love the look of these shoes, stylish and also great for walking. The real selling point for me is the adjustable strap feature which allows me to size for my narrow foot. (I have been begging Dansko for years for more narrow sizes.) I haven't worn them yet as the DC weather just never seems to get out of winter. I own 7 pairs of Dansko; my most favorite/comfortable shoes.

I ordered both size 39 and 40 in the Janie due to recommendation of reviews. The 40 was way too long and the 39 fit perfect just as any of the other size 39 I have been wearing the last 14 years. At first I was disappointed with the arch support since I love the arches in the clogs. However, the more I wore these the better they felt after the cork formed to my feet. Now I wear these and the other sandal I ordered, the Jameson, nearly every day and find them very comfortable. My feet are wider than most but not really a wide. I would buy these in additional colors. Hope this helps.

I am currently suffering with a bout of plantar fasciitis from wearing non-supportive shoes. I bought 4 pairs of Danskos so I hopefully will not ever have it again. These work well for short distance walking right now and once I am healed will probably be good for further distances.

My one and only complaint is the fifth strap from the top that goes across the top of my little piggies was not adjustable and rubbed on my toes and squished my fourth piggy down flat. My fifth piggy (little toe) fell in between straps and at times seemed like it was going to fall out, it never did though just felt like it. They are comfortable and have pretty good arch support. The size and length of the shoes were perfect. I wear 10½ and ordered 10½-11. I would say these fit closer to 10½. I absolutely love the green ones! They are gorgeous. Danskos are good quality shoes and reasonably priced considering they are good quality shoes. They are well worth the money.

Love the look and the adjustability. Like others, straps/velcro rub uncomfortably. I am a size "nearly 7", and the 37 was a but too short and tight with straps adjusted so no velcro showing. Also, in case it matters, there is a strong, bad, plastic smell from the material on the bottom of shoe (like cheap plastic kids toys).

I wanted so badly to keep these sandals because they are adorable but needed to return them because the straps cut into the top of one of my feet. I wore them around my kitchen thinking I could tolerate it but watched as my foot puffed up between the straps and I needed to kick it off because it hurt so much. The straps don't have any *give* and they aren't soft and flexible so I had to return them. I felt like Cinderella's step sister, wanting to make it fit. Sigh. Hope you have better luck!

Love! Cute. Can wear with anything. Not as comfortable as my Professionals, and I'm on my feet all day, so slight disappointment in that area. I love that al straps are adjustable (except the very front), so they are custom fit.

I ordered this shoe while using my iPad. Didn't realize it was going to be "sparkly." I had it packed to return but it's so comfy and cute, I kept it anyways. Yep, I'm wearing sparkly sandals, deal with it. Plus each of the 5 straps are adjustable with velcro (but don't look like it) so they really do make my feet happy.
