These sandals were comfortable straight out of the box. Lots of foot problems so was worried that they were too good to be true (based on positive reviews). My favorites by far. Can walk all day in them without any pain issues. So happy with them. Will order another pair.

With so many feet problems, I had given up on hoping to find comfortable shoes and resigned myself to going with the least painful Ecco brand shoes are the most reliably comfortable solution I've found for my problem feet and this pair holds true to that tradition. I wanted comfortable shoes I could wear with casual business attire and ordered these a few days before attending a week-long convention that involved a lot of walking. Even averaging 6 to 7 miles a day in brand new shoes, my feet never whimpered once and were remarkably pain free.

Bought this shoe in anticipation of our 2 week trip to France this summer! I have never had a shoe fit so nicely! I have arthritis in one foot and I can still walk for hours and hours. No breaking in necessary. Nice arch support and foot security. I am going to buy another pair in a different color. Buy it!

Ecco is a wonderful shoe. I own many of their styles. This one is not as sporty as the others and can dress up or down. Comfort is optimum! can be worn all day, even with problem feet. The foot beds on the Ecco's hold up beautifully...the shoes last and last!

I wanted comfortable but cute shoes for my vacation. I had these on my feet for only seconds when I was pretty sure these were the ones. The leather is so soft, the rip grip adjustable straps meant that I could find my perfect fit. I wore them with jeans and capris, they could go with shorts or a casual skirt or dress. I did a lot of walking in them right out of the box and I only had one little rubbed spot on one toe. The only problem for me is that I am between and 8½ and 9 so it was a tough choice on size due to European sizing. I went with the size 8 equivalent which was fine except when I was driving - then I could feel the sole pushing on my heel a little. But a size up to the 9 equivalent would have been far too big. I do not recommend sizing up if you are in the middle.

I'm so pleased to finally find a walking sandal in black that is comfortable without being clunky-looking. I am a pretty firm 7B, and so in Ecco sandals I often fall in-between. Because of the velcro straps, the 38 worked best for me this time. If you have a high instep, these will work beautifully; I don't, and I have about an extra inch of strap at the ankle! I wish these came in more colors.

These were much cuter in person. However, the top straps were too far towards my toes leaving the widest part of my foot hanging out. So, they weren't flattering on me.

I have ordered several pairs of "comfort" sandals and so far these are the most stylish and comfortable. I'm not completely in love with the style (hence 4 stars instead of 5) - to me they look like really upscale versions of Tevas but they are so much better looking than any other comfort sandal that I have tried (many by Orthaheel, Keen, Munro). These are the only comfort style that do not have a thick sole that screams orthopedic. Don't let the thin sole fool you - these provide good support and are very comfy. I bought these for city walking, and I sometimes cover a few miles over a day. I could definitely see myself walking in these for that long with no problems. Like others have said, these run about a half size bigger than most. I am a consistent 5 in every other brand that I wear and these extend about 1/4 inch past my toes, and there is also a little room at my heels as well. It's not a deal breaker for me as it doesn't look bad - and unfortunately there are no 35s left in Lion that I can order to size down. My foot is a tad wider than medium - I can usually get away with medium width in most closed shoes but have to go to wide width in strappy sandal styles. The width is not an issue with these shoes, and I imagine that the adjustable straps accommodate many foot widths. I highly recommend these shoes - they are good combination of comfort and style and are well worth the price.

I bought these shoes for a trip to Europe. Eccos run large for me, so I always order a size down. These were no exception. The first two times I wore these, the straps on the toes rubbed the tops of my toes. By the third time, they were broken in. I think they will be a comfortable shoe for the cobblestones. And for a comfort shoe, they are pretty cute.

Great shoe, comfortable and good looking. I have reached the stage where I only wear Ecco shoes. I love them all and they are very comfortable. All the adjustable straps make them fit exactly as needed.

These sandals are the perfect blend of style and comfort. They look like a stylish sandal and yet wear so comfortably. Whether wearing them with pants or a dress, they look fantastic. Taking them to Italy in two weeks. Looking forward to lots of walking in them.

This is a very attractive sandal and looks good on the foot. I ordered a size 40 which fit just fine. (Depending on the shoe, I wear either a 9.5 or a 10). Foot bed is smooth and comfortable. Unfortunately, even after adjusting the toe strap, it cut across my bunion, and the "x" cutout on the outside of the toe strap hit my little toe at a point whereby while walking, my little toe nail would "catch" on the opening. Too bad.

I agree that this is a relatively stylish, elegant, simple and super comfortable sandal. I've had them for a few weeks and already used them in traveling to several different cities for work and pleasure. I like that I can wear them with casual and business-casual clothes. Like some of the other reviewers, I had a couple of small blisters at first, but nothing major. I usually wear a 9 or 9.5 shoe, and the 40 fit very well. I have large bunions, and many other shoes hurt my feet. These felt great from day 1. I had a version of these 10 years ago that didn't have velcro and had two straps instead of one at the top of the foot - those were a little more elegant and i would like to see them come back.

I have to say, I think this is the most comfortable sandal I have ever worn. I went to work, where I am on my feet, and then for a long walk, the very first day I had them. I had no problems at all except for a little rubbing at the buckle. When I noticed the friction there I adjusted the strap and there was no irritation later. I had forefoot surgery about a year ago and need a shoe that is not too flexible and the Ecco sole has done it again--soft, but still providing some resilience.

This is a great shoe. Very comfortable and adjustable. I have narrow feet and this shoe is perfect. I purchased a size 41 which is a true 10 1/2 in my opinion. Love the tan color that blends with my summer tan, making the shoe less obvious than a bright shoe color or darker one. This shoe will work with my capris, sun dresses, jeans or shorts. I purchased this shoe for walking on uneven streets and sidewalks during our vacation. I wouldn't wear a Jack Rogers or Bernardo sandal where we will be traveling to, because I needed a shoe without movement that will be supportive and give secure footing. I won't be walking out of this shoe or twist my ankle on uneven surfaces...because this shoe holds your foot in place! I wore them for several hours around the house while doing chores, and they were as comfortable as when first putting them on. The buckle could be a problem for some if one's feet are thick. The stitching was a bit annoying across my toes, but in cutting some threads that were not trimmed well, I'm hoping the problem is resolved. Thank you to all the great reviewers, which made deciding on this shoe easy!

These sandals are very well made and are very comfortable. I have a narrow foot and am able to adjust the width with the Velcro straps. I throw my left foot inward and these sandals seem to hold my feet on the sandal rather than allowing my foot to extend out over the front of the shoe. They are made with a very soft leather.

I'm extremely pleased with my purchase. I have been searching for a cute pair of walking sandals to wear on my European honeymoon. My issue is that some walking sandals look a little too "mature" But not these. These are super cute. The foot bed is not only cushioned but has tiny air holes that help when your feet get a little sweaty. I do have narrow feet so the adjustable strap helps secure my feet. The color is a great neutral, too! It will go with lots of outfits. Even sum me dresses. Over all, I'm very happy.

Took the brown pair with me on an overseas cruise last year, and I was so glad I did! My feet always swell on long flights and those sandals were the most comfortable shoes I had for the two weeks we toured the Med. Being able to adjust the straps was terrific; and my feet never tired due to the good arch support. I've bought another pair in black for this summer (and the next cruise)!

Buy them, buy them now! I got the brown ones and they are so cute in person. I'm in my 20s so it can be hard to find shoes that are comfortable and cute but not too "young" looking to be appropriate for many occasions. these are sturdy and comfortable - if you are looking for shoes for Disney or Europe, you need these. I walk a lot on pavement and I can make it all day in these bad boys. They look cute with shorts or yoga pants or skinny jeans. These also beat out some similar Merrells (The Flicker Wrap sandal http://www.zappos.com/merrell-flicker-wrap-black) in cuteness and quality feeling.

I was so happy you guys got this to me before vacation. I normally wear an 8 med. but I ordered the 7-71/2 and they fit beautifully. They felt great right out of the box. Great support.

I've been using my sandals almost daily now; they are my spring/summer daily wear for this year. I've used them for work and my lunch walk (around 1.5 miles) and they are very comfortable. I'm pleased with their quality although I was initially concerned with the size being a bit smaller than US size. Following the recommendations posted in a review, I bought a size 40 when I wear a US shoe size of 9.5 & if there was a 40.5 size I think that would have lessen my concerns but going to size 41 may have been too big (fortunately, my feet are not getting any larger!). After trying many other brands and styles, I feel happy having selected this brand, style and color. Enjoy your summer walks!

Love these sandals! Well made, attractive and comfortable. They are a little bit dressier than the typical sport sandal but just as easy to wear. I have a narrow foot but am able to wear these. The combination of a little elastic and adjustable straps make them work.

These are one of my most comfortable shoes! Plus, they look modern, not "old." Wish they came in my colors, I would buy all of them.

I can't wear heels anymore and miss those sexy, strappy sandals. Well, here is a pair of sexy, strappy FLAT sandals! I cannot believe how great they look. Even my husband was impressed! I'm so glad I bought them early, because there are going to be very popular. I always wear a half size smaller in Ecco sandals, and the same is true with these. They are SO comfortable and attractive, these will be my go to for Spring and Summer!

These shoes are comfortable, but not heavenly comfortable. I have not had them long enough or walked long enough in them to give a fair review. Stylewise, I would have preferred if the sole that is exposed on the side was the same color as the straps. I did not notice this when I ordered them. So, they are not quite classy enough to wear to work. However, I wear them on weekends and other times. Other Ecco Sandals that I have bought and worn to work were a little more comfortable. These feel just a bit more stiff. That said, I have not worn them much.
