Customer Reviews ECCO Flash Ankle Sandal

Nice combination of comfortable shoe bed and sleek design. However, I returned this shoe because, on my foot, the buckle pressed into the top of my foot. I imagine it may fit differently on others, so you may not have this problem.

I returned these due to the liner being wrinkled around the toe area. I also wasn't impressed with the quality, the leather and the sole looked cheaper than I expect from Ecco. I'm starting to notice a trend with Ecco's fit and quality slipping now that some of their shoes are being made in China. The fit is wider than it used to be and this is the 3rd pair I've returned in various styles. It is likely my last pair of Eccos.

I so wish I could've kept this sandal because I adore the look. But, as another reviewer mentioned, the toe strap cut across my big toe knuckle causing some serious discomfort. Loosening the strap enough to avoid this caused the sandal to flop on my foot so the fit is just not for me. I think it could be a great sandal for most people based on all the positive reviews and I would suggest trying it but just make sure you wear it lots around the house before deciding to keep it and wear it outside.

I'm returning because the left shoe is defective. The band across the toes are placed higher than the right shoe.

The stitching on the sole of the shoe between the white part and the toe of the shoe is uncomfortable and I am returning the shoes.
