These are fun shoes that I wear both casually with jeans, and professionally at work. I ordered a 7.5 wide, and they run wide enough that I could have ordered a 7.5 medium. The arch support is great, and I find that my plantar fasciitis doesn't act up when I wear these (or other Clarks) shoes. The leather is soft, and I find that I definitely got what I paid for. I get lot of compliments when I wear them, and must say that I am now a Clarks (and Zappos)fan for life! For anyone buying Clarks shoes, I would say if they run true to size, and if you are between a medium and wide (my toe box is slightly wide) you can probably get away with a medium. If they don't fit, not to worry, Zappos will have another pair of shoes in your hands in no time!

I have searched high and low for comfortable and cute sandals and discovered them with the Wendy Land by Clarks! I have problem feet (6W with bunions) and could not be more thrilled with the fit and look of these shoes. It is always tough to shop for my short little hobbit feet because the options that I do have tend to look orthopedic, but these shoes do not! I was impressed with them on the site, and thought they were even more attractive in person - very flattering. The leather is incredibly soft and does not disturb my problem areas, the shoes feel true to size, might be a smidge wider than marked, have a very comfortable footbed, the ankle strap was the perfect length, and they are just gosh-darned adorable! I love them so much, I plan to buy a pair in every color. Thanks, Clarks and Zappos! I now have very happy feet.

I am 5'11 and I wear 12 Narrow because of my narrow heel; I am a bit toward a medium in the metatarsal area. These shoes are perfect for me and the foot bed is extremely comfortable. Love my red ones. Just ordered another pair in black.

These are comfortable and stylish. They are easy to break in. The straps run a little on the short side if you have larger ankles. I love them!

The leather is beautiful and the fit was fine, but the sole felt thin with little support. Also, the shoe rubbed me under my ankle on the inner side of the left foot. Returning these and exchanging them for a size 10 in Softspots Tatiana which is very similar and fits more comfortably with better support, although the woven leather is not as beautiful as this Clarks Wendy Land. Pity! By the way, I usually wear a 10 but bought a 9.5 in this style based on other reviews. Would have been a good fit if not for the rubbing problem mentioned above.

I fixed the problem of the too-short straps myself! Here's how: 1. Cut one side of the elastic at the edge by the heel. (I cut the inside side but it doesn't really matter) 2. Use black elastic cut to double-length of what you want from there to the buckle. 3. Cut a hole in the middle of the elastic (you can make a buttonhole on a sewing machine if you're anal). 4. Sew through both thicknesses of elastic right behind the buckle. 5. Put the two sides of the new elastic on either side of the original elastic. 6. Sew across the three widths at the bottom. 7. Sew up the middle of the three widths to keep them all together I did this all with hand-sewing. I now use the furthest hole in the strap, so part of the strap covers the new elastic. If anyone looks really closely they can see what I did but if they're that close and they disapprove of my sewing I can kick them in the face! I was going to take these to a shoemaker but then I realized I could use the original elastic. I hope this helps someone!

I loved this shoe but sadly the ankle strap just doesn't fit around my right ankle. Left, no problem. And at my age and lack of flexibility buckling the strap was a challenge. But the biggest issue was the length of the strap. I needed another 1/2 inch. Sad.

Love this shoe and the color is a perfect red, but the buckle strap is too short for my "sturdy" ankles - about an inch too short! Too bad 'cause the rest of the shoe fit like a glove and looked great.

This is a very pretty shoe and works for dressing up or casual wear. I'd ordered my standard size and felt they were a bit snug, so with an easy replacement (Thank you for that Zappos!) I am not in an extremely comfortable shoe. One thing I don't like about buckle shoes is having to get into a yoga pose to get the buckle on the outside of my ankle, but after the strap knows where I want it, the challenge lessens. That's my personal issue, though. I definitely enjoy and recommend this shoe. On another strange note, I have a Tailor's bunion (or the charmingly named "bunionette") on the outside of my foot. Most shoes press on it and hurt, but not this shoe. Yay!

Loved it! Best shoe I've had on. I own another pair of clarks but it did not have the support this shoe has. I'm a teacher and I was hoping to find a shoe that wouldn't kill my feet, especially during the first few days of school. On my way to order another pair in a different color.

So nice to find a place where I can get narrow shoes. Shame I can't go into a store and try them on. Was a little skeptical about ordering on such short time frame from when I needed them, but was very pleased. The shoes were very comfortable, wore them the first time at a wedding and they felt great. Shipping was fast. I have noticed something, but has nothing to do with the quality of the shoe. Since I'm getting older and have bad knees I had to have my husband buckle the shoes for me. Too bad the buckle isn't on the inside of the shoe where I can reach it myself. Maybe the manufacturers could look into this?

Extremely comfortable and good-looking. I am a teacher, and I wore these shoes the first day I got them all day long. My feet were smiling!

I love these. They are padded at the top of the heel and they're just right for my job. Unfortunately I can't get the strap around my ankle. I'm 8-1/2 M and the strap plus heel amounts to 12-1/2 inches. I need exactly that and I'd have to be a contortionist to do it. I will either get a shoe repair place to lengthen the (very short) elastic or return these. There isn't even enough elastic to cheat and take put them on with the strap buckled.

Extremely comfortable, very classy looking. Fits my usual 7 1/2 AA perfectly. Agree on the short strap issue, but there is elastic at the buckle so it won't be an issue.

As usual, my shoes arrived promptly. They are exactly what I was hoping for. They fit very well and are very comfortable.

I loved the style. But, where the heel wrapped around to the inside arch of my foot, hit my arch in such a way that my foot would cramp. But that was only my left foot, which may be slightly wider than my right.

These shoes would be perfect if only... if only the ankle strap was narrow enough to fit easily into the buckle. As it is, getting the shoes on and off is an exercise in fiddly frustration. Otherwise they seem quite comfortable and attractive enough to dress up or down.

Very pretty shoe, but the back rubbed my ankles in the wrong way. The shoes are extremely squeaky and I didn't want to risk having to break them in (for fear that they wouldn't). I'm a true narrow 7 and it is true to size. I don't have any real foot problems. I just wanted a comfy sandal that I could pack for a trip to Europe. They aren't as comfy as I had hoped.

Comfortable and dressy! Awesome shoes for work as they look very nice and cover my toes at the same time.

I really liked these shoes but found that they were a little too much like a foot cage for my liking once i got them on my feet. Otherwise I thought they would have made comfortable shoes.

Loved this shoe...but my feet are long (size 11), and while the shoe fit beautifully, the strap would not close around my ankle. Feedback to Clark's: strap for size 11 shoe needs to be longer. I will return.

This shoe is perfect for me because it is more flexible on my foot than most dress shoes. I now have a tailor's bunion on the sides of my feet, and they are sensitive to shoes that are too tight. I also tend not to wear heals, but these are just perfect with the right amount of height. I also like the size of the heel because some are narrow and make your foot vulnerable to twisting. The soles are nice an comfy and give me good support now that my feet don't have a much padding. I am flat footed and also tend to wear an 8, but I ordered an 8.5 due to living in a hot climate which means feet swell.

Oh, Clarks bring back this shoe! Truly a wide fit, wide sole, wide across top, but not sloppy in the heel. A comfortable and stylish shoe. I wore out my old pair and could no longer find this shoe, I got the last one in my size here at Zappos, took any color I could get. The ankle strap could be a hole or two longer, but I am able to wear on the last setting, so they work for me. Whatever will I do next time I need sandals? Arch support is low to medium, the sole is sort of rubberized, so it gives a little and is kind to ankles and knees, and you don't make that horrid clacking sound when you walk on hard surfaces. Please reissue this shoe. Don't change it one bit, but bring it back!

This shoe is so comfortable. I have a skinny narrow foot and it's hard for me to find shoes that fit. I bought this in tan and in black. They are cute too. Can be worn with a skirt or pants.
