Overall I gave these shoes 3 stars. While they are super cute, it's hard to find the right size. After reading several reviews I went with a 7.5 and I normally wear an 8 in shoes. It felt way too snug in the width and toe area, so I let my daughter (who normally wears a 7.5) try them. She walked across the room in them and said they were made her toes burn from being too tight in the width/toe area. So, I ordered these in an 8.5 and they seem to feel fine on me. I've worn them around the house and they don't feel too snug. Haven't worn them outside yet and haven't let my daughter try them. My guess is that she would need an 8.

I love the way these look but they are definitely not comfortable! Since they are a slip on, the hold on to the foot by elastic on the ankle. The elastic digs in and I am left with deep marks on the back of my ankle every time I wear these shoes. Unfortunately, the elastic does not stretch. I have been wearing them for five months now and they still hurt!

I love the way these shoes look, but they are not the best fit - for me anyway. They run a little small and there is no arch support, (but I knew that) my biggest issue is that when I put in inserts my heel kept slipping out of the shoe and even a little without inserts. I also got half a size bigger, but I could have gone a whole size up.

I agree with the most critical review that "the heels slip right off when walking and the shoelaces cannot be used to make the shoes fit better because they are too short to even tie." I walked around with these slip-ons all day in Washington, DC for the Fireworks. They are not very comfortable. The regular Chucks felt comfortable than these slip-ons. For slip-ons, I recommend Vans instead.

I loved the way these looked but they were so narrow that they were uncomfortable...especially when I put socks on. Had to return them.

I loved the style of these Chuck Taylor Shoreline shoes, they look great, the length is true to size, I wear a 7 1/2 Medium, but I couldn't get them on my feet because they felt very narrow!! So I ordered the next size up and this time I could get them on my feet with a little push, but they still felt uncomfortably narrow. Sorry to say I will be returning them.

Anyone who hasn't worn Converse before should know beforehand that they are a very snug shoe, narrow and basically no arch support. That being said, they can still be really comfy once broken in. I wanted to love this shoe, it looks ridiculously cute on, with skinny jeans, shorts, casual dresses, I love the look of this shoe. Having 4 eyelets doesn't make the shoe look as long as the regular style Converse in my opinion, and adds a more feminine look. The problem I have with them is actually wearing them. I'm between sizes, and they were out of the smaller I can fit so I went with a 9, they were too big on me and my foot slipped out of the back. Knowing how stiff Converse can be I was somewhat expecting that, but they just weren't working for me, and looked too big because of it. So I returned them and had to get an 8.5 from elsewhere since this site was out of stock still, and they fit great; stays on my foot well, doesn't make it look bigger than I'd like. But I just can't get them to be comfy for extended wear. With regular ankle socks they show and it looks funny, the socks you buy that are hidden will get rubbed down at the ankle and end up half under my foot and it gets uncomfortable. Going without socks makes my feet really sweaty and I get blisters on my pinky toe from rubbing on the canvas, I recently bought insoles that are supposed to help air flow when wearing shoes with no socks, but I still ended up with blisters on my pinky toes. I feel like to comfortably wear these shoes I'm going to have to always have a bandaid on to prevent me from getting blisters, and put something in them so they don't get stinky from sweaty feet. They are just so adorable that I want to love them, but I find myself barely wearing them because of what I'm having to go through to make them comfortable. If you have rough feet, I recommend them. If your feet need some time to adjust to new shoes, just know what you're getting into. I'll make these shoes work for me eventually.

I ordered the size I wear in other Converse styles and found them surprisingly tight, especially across the top of the foot -- by the middle of the day, they were pretty uncomfortable. I'm hoping I can stretch them out over time.

Just a heads up on your color choices...since you can't really tell exactly what the actual color looks like I went by the name of said color. Charcoal. You would think Charcoal would be a grayish color but no, they are definitely Army Green. Might be a good idea to change the color description because they are most definitely not gray, black or any combination.

I have a closet full of Chucks and needed something that would slip on after a hip surgery. These are cute but the tongue length is about an inch shorter than regular Chucks. And (not sure how to describe this) but they hurt the tops of my feet as if the footbed isn't as deep as regular Chucks. I may keep these and hope that they break in a bit but I'm not 100% sure.

Love the shoe but the fit is off. It is kind of narrow at the toes, pretty uncomfortable. I didn't even order a size down like normal. I'll probably order a half size up to see if it helps...but then the shoe will be too long.

Cute, comfortable shoes that indeed make my size 10.5 feet look smaller. The stretchy part keeps the shoe snugly on the foot. For most people this would be a perfect shoe. However, I have a high instep and this is a bit uncomfortable for me. For now I intend to wear them for short periods of time which require little walking.

I really want to like these as they are cute however the laces are too short to tie them - I took them out of the top hole and they are still barely long enough to tie. Also they are tight on the top of the foot. I find that I have to slip the back of my foot out of the sneakers when I am sitting throughout the day or else they hurt. I am hoping that they will stretch out with a few more wears. You may want to buy half a size larger and I would not recommend them at all if your feet are wider.

I love the look of these! They are great for skinny jeans and short pants/ shorts without making your feet look huge like the regular Chucks do. But buyer beware that because the back is soft, if you wear them with socks (even the specially designed ones for Chuck Taylors) the heel doesn't stay up and they end up flopping off your feet. So sadly, unless I can figure out a fix, these may turn out to be summer shoes only.

I love Converse! These shoes are the iconic American shoe. Unfortunately, they're not the most comfortable. My feet aren't super wide, but I'm having a time breaking these babies in. I've had Converse before, and I know that once they're broken in, they're the most comfortable shoes ever, but I'm struggling a bit with these. I love how they look, but not how they are feeling at the moment.

I have wide feet and usually can actually get a pair of sneakers that will fit me at least ok at at least a semi-appropriate length. These were at least an inch too long and too narrow for my feet at the widest part. Cute and I'm sure great for people with normal to thin feet but not people with wide feet!

I really do not care for these slip on; they feel a little too heavy, clunky to wear. I like the slip on feature, but they feel too clunky and heavy, like I'm dragging my feet when I walk in the. I really don't care for them.

I wanted to love them, but they tore up my feet, with or without socks. So sad, because they're the cutest shoes ever.

My husband has been dying for me to wear Chucks. I personally think they look like clown shoes so when I saw these had fewer eyelets, I thought I'd give them a try. I wear a 9 most times so I ordered an 8 per the recommendations of others. I got them next day and excitedly took them out of the box and put them on. Much to my husband and my disappointment they didn't fit. It was the length, that was fine. It seems that Converse narrows their shoes right at your toes. I wore them around the house thinking maybe I could get them to stretch, to no avail. My 14 year old is ecstatic for her new shoes.

Love the shoe, but if you order these with the Converse cut for chuck "sock" do NOT order down a size. The sock is NOT "thin," and, this shoe runs SMALL and TIGHT. I wear a 9-Narrow in a dress shoe, and I can press my thumb on the toe-box of a dress show in that size and feel a thumb's width of room, which is how a show should fit. This I ordered in an 8.5, based on review comments about sizes running small, and it is so tight and short on me that I am returning it for a full size up, a 9.5. I would say order your regular shoe size, or 1/2 size up if you get those socks.

I wanted to love these shoes so badly. I'm in between sizes in most Converse styles but with the elastic these actually fit my foot length beautifully! The problem is like most Converse, they're painfully tight and completely unforgiving or flexible. I wore them for about 10 minutes at home before I was limping. There's no stretch or give whatsoever so if you don't have a skinny foot Chucks aren't for you.

Many of the other reviews said they run big and they were right. I usually wear a 9.5 and the 9 was too big. Sent it back for an 8.5 and that was too small! Goldilocks just can't find something "just right", so these are going back. They are cute though!

These are super cute, but unfortunately I have heels that are more comfortable than these shoes. I have high arches and the elastic band rubs the tops of my foot to the point where it goes numb. I bet these shoes are fairly comfortable for flat footed people. I'm keeping them, but I just can't wear them for long periods of time.

Great looking sneaker, but too narrow and I don't have wide feet. They do run a 1/2 size large, so the 6 I ordered was fine except for width.

To be completely honest these are my least favorite pair of shoes to wear. They are comfortable and roomy, just kinda funny looking to me. They probably go best with a short cut pant or shorts.
