I will admit this is my first pair of Chucks. I should have known. I have read the reviews. I have seen them in person. But a slip on shoe...I had to try. These have literally ZERO arch support. Like I felt barefoot! And they are soooo long. My 9.5's looked like 13s. I guess the overall style is OK but in my "size" they just look like clown shoes. I am sending them back.

I don't have wide feet, but these were uncomfortably narrow. Probably would be fine for someone else.

Love the style, but these were way too narrow for my feet. I hate that I wore them outside before realizing how narrow they are because now I'm stuck with them.

I bought a returned the first pair I ordered because the underside of the tongue was gouging into the top of my foot. Every step that I took I could feel it. I sent those back and ordered another pair to only have the same issue. I guess, these just aren't for my feet. I think it might have helped if the inside tag hadn't been there. Loved the look! Just not the comfort!

This are really cute however they slip off the back and they're extremely narrow so felt tight. Hurts feet after a while.

I really liked the grey stripe on these shoes and thought they would be perfect to wear with anything this summer; but the shoe fabric is textured. And I just didn't love it. Can see it getting dirty easy. I do like the overall style of the shoes and the slip on/off feature is great!

Super cute shoes, but not right for me. I am a lifelong wearer of Chucks, thought these would be nice for with summer dresses. Unfortunately, I don't like this style, the back heel did not stay in place and kept slipping down, very uncomfortable. Chucks run narrow in general, so there was no way if I went down a half size to make the heel fit better that it would be a comfortable fit for the narrow toe. Back they went - hope you have better luck!

I wear a 10 1/2 womens in the regular lace-up Converse. However, I ordered these in 10 1/2, and they were too short, but the heel was very loose. So disappointed!

Love the look and I get many compliments but I was one of the few where it was super uncomfortable for me. There's a glue-over section where my pinky toes meets the shoes and it was like this for all the other sizes I tried. The band inside pushed down on the top of my foot, so much so that it felt like the circulation was cutting off. I had to cut the rubber band, but that defeats the purpose of the look. I love it but do not wear it much.

These shoes are great! I love the more feminine cut of the shoreline-- even though I'm only a 7, I've always felt like the original converse can make anyone's feet look really long and clownish. Not so with these! They are narrower in the toe box, but not by much. I'm normally between a 7 and a 7.5, j ordered the 7 and they fit snugly but aren't too small. The first pair I received had yellow spots on them? Looked like I maybe got a pair that had already been returned by someone else. I've since reordered, and I'm hopeful the next pair is new because the white is beautiful and perfect for summer! As always, Zappos had them to me speedy quick (less than 24 hours)!

Order half a size up. These are really narrow and there's no give in the toe room whatsoever. Really cute though.

I wanted to love these so much, but they just weren't quite right for me. I loved that they're just a little different from regular Converse, and I really loved the stretchy back and slip-on convenience. But the part of the shoe on either side of your ankle is cut REALLY low - lower than regular Converse, which is already pretty low to start with. Not only does it make them impossible to wear even low-cut socks with, but it just made them look...weird somehow. You can't really see that from the pictures (or at least I didn't notice it), but it was very obvious the second I put them on. That might not bother a lot of people, but for me it was a deal-breaker. I ended up buying a different type of Converse instead. With that said, if the low-cut sides aren't an issue for you then you'll probably love these. I bought my usual size 8 after reading a bunch of reviews with conflicting info about whether to size down or not, and I'm glad I stuck to my regular size - anything smaller would have been uncomfortable in the toes, even though it probably would have been fine for the overall length. If you have wider toes (like me and my Fred Flintstone feet), I'd definitely recommend sticking to your usual size, but if you're narrower in the toes then you can probably go down a half size.

I wear a size 10 and this is what I ordered. Despite really liking this style and the look of the slip-on I couldn't keep the backs in place when walking. Big disappointment since these Chucks look much better than the original on a larger foot. Had to send them back.

These are cute, but not great if you have high arches like I do. I either have to wear Superfeet with them, or I just plan not to walk much when I wear them.

I have been admiring these for some time and really, really wanted them to work when I finally bit the bullet and ordered them. Unfortunately, they were too narrow in the toe bed to be comfortable on me. My baby toe rubbed against the inside of the shoe, so they are going back. The search for a cute sneaker option continues.

These are cute and fresh for spring but they are REALLY narrow - which I guess is pretty normal for Chucks. The heel slipped a lot but I knew that if I went a half size down my feet couldn't take it. Maybe they would stretch out if I went down but I didn't want to take the chance. If you got skis for feet then go for it but these are not for Hobbits.

These are super cute. But if you have a wider toe box, these aren't the shoes for you. I bought them hoping they would stretch out. They don't. Don't buy these if you are hoping they will stretch. They are true to size but the width is what kills me. For the first two months, I had band-aids all over my feet from the blisters. But now, after having these shoes for 8 months, I can say that they still hurt my feet (although I don't get blisters anymore). They are so uncomfortable I'm buying some new slip ons. Will I still keep these shoes? Yes, because they are freakin cute and you can always suffer for a few hours in them. But for a whole day, I will pass. I never had a problem with the back slipping off my foot like some reviewers have.

not as comfortable as the regular converse chuck taylor. it kept on rubbing on my little right toe and over all very tied on both feet.

These are so classic and cute with a modern twist and in my youth I would wear them despite their discomfort but my nearly 40 year old foot knows better. Like other reviewers stated, this shoe is a Long Tall Sally. Too long, too narrow and rubs in all the wrong places. While the footbed support isn't plentiful, it would be okay for short periods, running errands or just looking cute. Hate to return them but alas I will.

I really wanted to love these shoes. I have always wanted a pair of Chucks, but these just did not work for my feet. I knew they would be narrow, which was fine (I have narrow feet), but WOW! These are suuuuuuuper narrow. I've never had a problem with my toes feeling squished, but they were squished and blistered in these shoes. They also have virtually no arch support, which was an issue due to my plantar fasciitis. I have lots of friends who have these and love them, but they just didn't agree with my particular feet. Back to grandma shoes for me!

I've worn these lightly for less than a year, and hardly wore them at all during the winter (Nebraska, way too cold for these). They are already completely ripped out around the heel rubber. I'm not usually hard on shoes at all so I wonder if it's a defect.
