These are the best shoes I have ever owned! They look like cute ballet flats but are still as comfortable as ever. Going barefoot helped correct a lot of problems I had with my feet from over-priced, uncomfortable fashion shoes and I didn't have to give up looking fashionable to do it!

Oh,my gosh, I was really taking a chance on this shoe because it has no insole padding or cushion at all and I have really bad food problems. As soon as I put them on, I knew I had to try whatever it takes to make them work because they are so cute ~ the perfect shoe that goes with absolutely anything, capris, jeans, skirts - everything! I usually have to wear Clarks or Ecco but when I don't have to do a lot of walking these are great and I'm ordering another pair (or maybe several pair) in another color!

Perfect! After trying the Kali, which I found klunky and uncomfortable and returned them, I decided to give Jing Jing a try. They are perfect, and I have worn them every day since they arrived. In addition to their ultimate comfort, they are also nice looking. I bought a pair for my daughter-in-law, and plan to get another pair for myself!

Although these really are quite minimalist, after getting used to running in my vibo five fingers running shoes, it felt weird to walk around in any sort of other mary janes that I found, they are the only way to go! If you're not used to minimalist styles at all, I would recommend getting shoes with a bit more support. These soles are very thin - you can feel everything on the ground. I love it, but it's maybe not for everyone!

These shoes are so wonderful! When I first got them and tried them on, I was a little worried about how stiff they felt at first -- I could see that stiffness resulting in blisters, etc. But they softened up pretty quickly, and wearing them really is like going barefoot. I've rated them as feeling a bit larger and wider than marked, only because I'm very accustomed to shoes in my size being way too narrow and restrictive for my wide feet -- but they are perfect. It feels like having a cute shoe that fits like it's supposed to, for the first time. My only complaint is that they don't seem to have good breathability, and my feet will get very sweaty if I wear them without socks or some good quality ballet flat "socklets." But the comfort factor is totally worth it, and I'd recommend this shoe to anyone looking for comfy, cute footwear.

I love these snappy shoes. They perk up a dark outfit. I really like shopping at Zappos! The return sticker is packed with your purchase for easy returns. Fortunately I kept these shoes.

Finally! I have been waiting for so long for a truly minimalist ballet flat with a clean design: no athletic shoe detailing, and grown-up practical colors like black, brown and gray. These have a very subtle vivobarefoot logo at the heel but are otherwise no-nonsense. The fit runs a little narrower than some of vivo's other shoes, but the upper is flexible enough that I still have room for my toes to wiggle. They also run a little short - I ended up in a 42 and I usually wear a 41. Now I can have happy feet at work, too. Saving my pennies so I can buy them in every color!

These are the absolute in minimalist shoes: no padding, just enough sole so that you can walk outside, almost like a lightly soled sock. Make that a very upscale sock! Everything about them says quality; material, stitching, sole. If you're looking for a true barefoot shoe, you won't find a more perfect example in a non-athletic shoe. I love barefoot shoes, and wanted to love these but they just don't fit me right. They put pressure on the end of my big toe in a way I think will hurt over time. Still, I'd recommend anyone looking for a casual barefoot try them on.

I ordered these shoes specifically because they are by the Vivobarefoot brand and I am seeing a podiatrist who follows the natural foot movement / barefoot walking philosophy. However, I am supposed to wear toe spacers as part of my treatment for my bunions and there is no way they would fit into these shoes. Vivobarefoot used to make a Maryjane that was wider but they've discontinued them. For the average person though these shoes would be great if you are looking for a barefoot type shoe. The black fake leather is very supple and smooth. I didn't wear them except for around the house so I don't know if they would get hot or not. Unfortunately the sizing felt to be about a half to a whole size too small. The heel elastic kept the heel very securely in place but the they were too snug in the toe for me. Sizing up would probably solve that. Otherwise they felt very comfortable.

These shoes run about a half size smaller for me than my normal size. They are not cushioned. The material looks like it will hold up.

I love wearing barefoot style shoes - but most of them are not suitable to wear with a skirt. These are cute and very versatile - I can wear them with dresses and skirts but they look fine with shorts, pants, or even athletic clothes. These aren't the perfect fit that I'd like them to be due to my wide foot. They aren't uncomfortable, but the toe box isn't quite as roomy as it would need to be for that true "barefoot" feel. Otherwise it's a great shoe and I'm pleased to have a "dress" shoe I can wear.

Very comfortable -- no blisters on my heels or anything. The elastic around the top makes for a secure fit. This is my first time with a "minimalist" sole. So walking on concrete...not comfortable! There's no cushion. But I did take a 20 minute walk and was fine. Wouldn't want to have to walk outside all day in them (fine on carpet), but other than that, a cute, comfortable shoe.

I absolutely loved these shoes. They're synthetic, barefoot, and kind of cute. That being said, my feet can't breathe in them. I bought them as a summer shoe, and I'm not a sock person. You have to be a sock person with these shoes, because all that heat gets absorbed in and then they are perma-smelly. While the sole is super strong and long-lasting, the edges (where the fabric meets the sole) are not. The edges started to fray and chip, which is another reason why I'm searching for replacements. I wore these literally every day for six months, but your mileage may vary. I wish they made ones with a slightly less rounded toe-box. They're a little childish with such a rounded toe.

My closet, also known as the shoe cemetery, is full of uncomfortable footwear that will never see the light of day...unless I feel like visiting all the cute shoes that is can't wear. I love shoes but the love is definitely one sided. I bought these to walk to work. I can tell you that these flats will be my go-to shoes! They go with everything and actually feel like I'm waking barefoot. I read the reviews prior to ordering, and as suggested by others, I ordered one size up. The shoes fit perfectly and comfortably. No breaking in period. No rubbing or toe squeezing. My only criticism would be that my toe nail feels a bit flattened inside the shoe This may not be an issue for anyone else. Still, I would say these shoes are the most comfy ones I own.

Very cute shoe! Finally, a pair that has enough "front" to cover my toes and my bunion. I am happy with these. I ordered a size up and they seem a bit big but they feel very good. No padding, so perhaps by adding the half size I could add a thin layer of padding to this shoe, especially if it stretches. It stays on, it looks good, and works with my problem, flat feel. I'm sure I'll not take any long walks in these, but they will work when I need to wear a completely flat shoe that is not a sandal.

My toe was pushing on the toe of the shoe in my normal size (8 1/2) so I ordered up to a 9. Trying it on this morning in the longer size but my to is still pushing on the front of the shoe. They are wide enough for my bunions and hammer toe and the thin sole is actually quite comfortable. No cushioning so maybe not for lots of time on your feet walking. The toe box is roomy side to side. I may reorder in a 9 1/2 and see if that works better. I do like the way they look. I'm trying them on with jeans.

At first, I was a little disappointed that the material for these felt so cheap. But these shoes have proved very comfortable, even when I had to walk a couple of miles in them! I am new to the barefoot thing, I picked these more because they have a good toe box alignment than because I want to go "barefoot," but they are way more comfortable than any of my other flats. They ARE very thin soled, so you can definitely feel if you are walking on any type of uneven pavement, and I did end up adding metatarsal pads for additional support. An additional note: I had to order these a half size bigger than I normally go, although I'm finding that to be the case with a lot of barefoot type shoes.

SUPER comfortable ballet flats, and I have been looking for a long time. These fit right away with no breaking in. I am usually a 7.5-8 and the 7.5 fit perfectly. Unfortunately, my feet tend to sweat and with no breathability in these, they get pretty stinky. If not for that, I would buy more of this style in other colors.

Runs true to size. cute in style. Just a little to think of a sole for me. If you like the barefoot feel, this is a good one. Comfortable at the heel.

Perfect if you like minimal support and material between you and the surface you walk. A little snug at the toe due to the fit, no matter the size. Feet sweat a lot in these.

Not sure what happened with sizing for me. From all the other reviews I figured no need to "size up." I am a 7.5 and one foot is slightly larger which occasionally pushes me up to an 8 in flats. I ordered the 38 and it is too small on both feet, cramming my toes. I really love the Dusty Rose color, it's my new "neutral." I tend to gravitate towards pink and purple tones and was pleasantly surprised the sole is purple even though I didn't notice that in the pictures online. I also liked that color because it doesn't have red dots (really don't like red or emblems). Now I'm torn whether to exchange for the next size up or to just return.

I've had these for a few months now and wear them all the time. I've gotten many compliments on them and love the way they work with everything. I'm used to minimal cushioning so that wasn't an issue. The only thing is the smell after awhile. They don't breath like leather would so they do get stinky. I find it funny that "vegan" is code for pleather now. The shoes are super cute and cover my toe cleavage though and so they are my go-to slip-ons.

No toe cleavage with these shoes. Like other reviewers said, the color has a tinge of green in it - not a bright yellow. Does make you feet sweat but they are super comfortable.

I like 'em. Toe box is a little less tall than I would like, but I have that problem with most shoes -- I guess I have a tall toe. They're quite comfortable and they don't smell after I wear them barefoot.

I've been wearing Vibram FiveFingers for years, but man, they look kooky. I was excited when Vivobarefoot started producing normal-looking, vegan-friendly shoes. The Jing Jing is a cute, casual flat that provides great tactility and no annoying arch support. Unfortunately, they were too wide for me. I consider my feet to be normal width, but I guess I won't be able to wear Vivobarefoot shoes until they come out with a narrow line. (I tried the Vivobarefoot Lydia, too, and had the same problem.) Bummer for me, but I still recommend trying them if you're into barefoot shoes that don't look like bare feet.
