A great, lightweight rain jacket. I am 6'1" and about 215 -- I ordered the XL and it is a bit big (fine if layering underneath). Very light and packable for travel and anything outdoors.

I've guided multi day kayaking trips in this jacket, worn it skiing with some warm layers underneath, taken on backpacking trips, and worn casually in wet weather. This is the best rain jacket I've owned. I like it so much that I bought a couple in different colors. I love the ability to unzip the sides to let some air in when things get sweaty. Another great OR product!

Great quality, lightweight and fits the description. The main zipper can be sticky but is expected with the type of jacket. Overall fantastic piece of gear.

Great jacket, I like the huge arm pit vent. The jacket can be packet in one of its own pocket ... use full for pack packing. Best bang for the bucks.

This jacket does as advertised. I have used it both in the woods and while traveling and it has yet to let me down in either function or design. Most notably I am very impressed with how the jacket works with the hip belt on a ruck sack, the full side zips offer mobility, flexibility and interoperability. Just like everything it will eventually wet through but given its weight and breathability I could not ask for anymore.

I looked around at the other different brands, and for significantly less money - the quality is the exact same as Patagonia, Archtx, and any other "high end" raincoats. It's my go-to in the rain; looks pretty sweet too.

Great jacket for the price. Its hard to beat for that amount of money. Felt like it doesn't breathe as well as I imagined, but still good compared to jackets I've owned previously. Has kept me dry through many storms and trips.

This was my first piece of Outdoor Research clothing. Completely impressed. I've had an issue with jacket fits lately, with arms being exceedingly long from other brands. 5'11, 175 lbs. Sometimes I'm large, sometimes medium, but the medium fit absolutely perfectly. Had the opportunity to wear it during some torrential downpours this summer and it shed water like a dream. Used it as an outer layer on cooler nights just wearing around camp because it was comfortable. The Foray has enough zips that venting isn't an issue. Looking forward to giving the jacket a real workout this fall!

Lovely fitting jacket. It will turn you into an Adonis. The woodland animals will swoon to your dry, sweat-free body.

This jacket is really great, it's perfectly waterproof and very lightweight. A little warn on a summer rain but ultimately decently breathable.

love this jacket, it is super light weight even tho it is still very rain resistant. the only really issue i have found is that due to the double zipper some times lining it up at the bottom is a bit of an issue but that also just may be due to the jacket being so new

This jacket was my go-to for the entire summer. Whether it be a short little afternoon shower or a week of raging thunderstorms I had the confidence that I would stay dry. It is super versatile and light weight. Makes for the perfect jacket.

I have been using the foray jacket for the past year, it is an amazing piece to my collection, 6"1 165 lbs , the large fits me perfect with any type of layer on underneath. I have aquired 2 jackets over the past year and have just ordered another a medium for summer wear with minimal layers

Great jacket. Fits really well. I needed to replace my old rain jacket that outlived it's usefulness. The OR jacket got tested in heavy rain a few weeks back and it meet and exceeded expectations. It's light weight and is easy to pack and take on a hike, camping, or road trip.

I worn the jacket every time it has rained and it has kept me completely dry. I fly fish in the river for hours in the rain and no leaks. I"m 5'10" and 180 pounds, I have a large, and it fits perfect easily room for layers for colder weather. Good for spring skiing.

It works great as a single layer raincoat and as a multi layer outer jacket.

I finally upgraded to a proper rain shell this season and its been great. The Gortex technology really is a step up from your typical cheap rain jacket. The poncho style zippers on the Foray Jacket are such a blessing when you're warm but the rain is coming down. I often do my backpack's hip strap up underneath the poncho to allow for greater breathability while keeping hip pockets nice and dry.

Works perfectly for commute from car to bus to mile walk in city, and back. Lightweight, packable, and with lots of venting, allows for quick transitions as temperatures / conditions keep changing. Perfect number of pockets also a big plus.

Hi everyone, I am from Malaysia. I bought this jacket recently (May 2017) from a Outdoor Life in Velocity / Novena Square in Singapore. I recently wore this jacket and climbed up to Mount Kinabalu in the state of Sabah in Malaysia. Along the way, there was only drizzle and the water appeared as beads on my jacket and I could easily get rid of it by shaking the jacket. Before this, I had tried walking in rain and the jacket work very well as mentioned above. On my way to the summit from 2:30am in the morning, the weather was pretty cold especially when the wind blew. The jacket worked very well to protect me from the wind, and I didn't fell cold but felt comfortable with a Icebreaker Merino base layer underneath the jacket. I opened up my torso zippers and the air flow into my body and kept me cool and comfortable throughout the whole journey. The torso zipper is fantastic! I love this jacket very much and would like to share with everyone and recommend you to buy this jacket! Many thanks to OR for creating such a good jacket, thank you OR!!!

Both my son and I bought this rain jacket for our recent trip to England. It protected me well from the rain without the feeling of stickiness that often happens when I wear rain gear. I was extremely pleased with the product.

The jacket fits a little snug on my chest and shoulders but not badly. I use it regularly in rainy weather. My job requires that I'm outside a lot, the jacket comes in handy!
