Beautiful sandal however had to return it. The strap with the plastic clip isn't adjustable and so there was only one other strap holding the sandal securely to the rest of my foot. It would've caused me foot pain down the line had I kept these.

I normally wear an 8 1/2 or 9, or an 8 1/2 W if the 9 is too long. These shoes only came in whole sizes but the 8 seemed to fit me perfectly in the length. The footbed of this shoe is extremely comfortable and the adjustable heel strap is awesome for someone like me who can never get the heel strap tight enough. The other straps were snug and I felt like after a day of walking in them, would leave indents in my skin. The skinny straps also seemed to make my foot look fat. :) So back these go. Too bad. They felt good on the footbed, but perhaps won't work for a wide foot with the straps.

These are really cute shoes. I have a narrow foot and the velcro strapes on the back of the shoe worked great but the front part of the shoe was too wide without any velcro to adjust. Also, they were very comfortable with a nice arch.

These are cute and comfortable, except for the strap that runs diagonally over the arch. I have high arches and it rubbed uncomfortably. Also, as with another reviewer, my toes did tend to slide forward. It's odd, considering the number of crisscrossing straps that it couldn't have been designed to hold your toes in. I found the color bright and cheerful, not garish as did another reviewer.

Sandals are super cute but I greatly dislike the three small velcro closures as the velcro isn't long enough to achieve a truly secure fit.

Too snug around my toes, (unfortunately, the strap in that area is not adjustable) and since I'm traveling to a very hot and humid country, my feet are likely to swell a bit. I'm a Merrell fan, but this one was a bit disappointing.

The heel strap was too loose and, though it's adjustable, I couldn't tighten it enough so that I didn't feel like I was going to walk out of it. It might be a half-size large. But, the fit was good, otherwise, and the sole does not look too long for my foot. I could have kept them and taken them to a shoe shop and had more velcro added, for this kind of price, I'd rather they fit out of the box. I liked the style and the very flexible soles.

I loved these shoes. I loved the way they looked, the color, the arch support were all great. What I didn't love was the plastic clasp that fit too tightly against my foot and made them extremely uncomfortable. I ended up returning them which made me sad. Maybe Merrell will redesign & remove the hard, scratchy plastic.

I needed a pair of sandals to wear for longer walks with the dog and these came close but didn't quite do it. The back strap isn't really adjustable and doesn't get tight enough which meant that didn't have as much support as they could have. Also, while I think the width was correct, they made my average-width feet look wider than usual so they looked a little too much like "comfort shoes".

I purchased these thinking they looked virtually identical to an 4 year old pair of Merrell sandals which I wore to pieces. These unfortunately, were not nearly of the same quality. One of the cross straps is a thin ribbon - I can't imagine it withstanding much use, and for the expense, they need to last at least one season. Not to mention, due to the thinness of the ribbon strap, it cut across the top of my high instep. I'm still debating if I'm going to return them.

Cute shoes however they run way too wide. The adjustable straps are not placed in ideal location so there is no way to adjust the part that is too loose around the toes. In addition the buckles are plastic and one broke the second day I wore them. I really liked the arch support but need to find a pair that fit properly and won't break so easily.

Hate to return them but I have a thin foot and low arch and they are too loose and no way to adjust strap across arch. Wish the Siena was available, it fit me perfectly.

The shoes do not at all look like the picture. The strap feels like plastic. It is way overpriced.

I had a pair of old Merrell sandals I loved and wore out. I bought these. What happened?! I have a very average width and run about a size 10. These Merrells are so narrow. I sized them up against the old ones and it looks like they shaved off a third of the foot bed! Terrible fit, not at all like my old ones. I would not recommend these shoes. Will be shipping them back asap.

I have owned the Merrell San Remo and the Merrell Aster, the previous incarnations of this model shoe. Unfortunately, the sizing has changed drastically. I used to wear it in an 8; this time the 8 was short and narrow. I then tried a 9. The toe strap is too loose and the velcro back adjustment strap is too long (by about 2 inches) and flaps behind the shoe.

Very disappointing. Slender straps are feminine, and multiple velcro adjustments seemed like a good idea. However, the heel velcro on mine would not stay fastened: very floppy and frustrating.

They felt light as air but with lots Of support. However the Velcro straps kept coming undone. It was very frustrating because every time I take a few steps the backstrap would come undone and I would have to stop and reattach it and they were brand-new. This concerns me because I fear that after a few wears the Velcro will become useless and I will have a shoe that I cannot wear. Decided to return them almost immediately. I still believe in the comfort of Merrell shoes but I do not think the sandals are worth the money at all.

I bought these sandals to take on a cruise to the Adriatic. I wanted a good supportive sports sandal for all the walking, but one that looked lighter and dressier than my Keens. Loved the look but: the velcro didn't stick! I wore them a few times before I left, and they seemed okay, but while climbing the Acropolis they kept coming undone! Hiking up a hill in Croatia: undone! Repeatedly! Wandering around Santorini: I was the one who had to keep stopping and trying to keep her shoes on! I was so frustrated and didn't have any other suitable sandals with me! I have worn Merrell hiking boots for years and assumed the same quality would be there. It was not. Very disappointed. I would have sent them back but since they were the only walking sandals I had with me, I had to wear them every day of the two weeks so couldn't. Maybe it was just mine that were defective but...be forewarned.

Greatly disappointed that I spent this much money for these shoes. The back straps slide down constantly and no amount of adjusting fixes that problem. Comfortable footbed. It's too bad because these shoes would be my favorite if the backstraps stayed up!
