Runs a full size too small. If the toe strap pinches, you definitely need to size up. Otherwise it is cute, gets lots of compliments and is instantly wear-all-day comfortable with decent traction when wet.

I tried on many pairs and glad I kept this pair. I bought this 2 days before leaving on a backpack trip in Asia. Not a wise thing to do but glad this served me well. I trekked all over in Asia and it's so comfy. Great support, comfy and looks awesome.

Bought these for trip to WA DC anticipating LOTS of walking. Needed something with good arch support & heel cushion for my plantar fasciitis issues. OMG! So incredibly comfortable. I'm an 8.5 & the 9 worked better for me. Multiple straps are adjustable so you can get a pretty good fit. The 1st criss-cross set of straps closest to toes is a bit loose on me (& the only set that's not adjustable), but not so much that I can't wear them. I will live in these shoes. & as always, Zappos is the best!

Oh, Merrell, how you've let me down! This is a beautiful, feminine shoe (I got the blue and loved it) - it's a comfortable sandal - everything you'd want, right? Unfortunately, the velcro straps are very ineffective! Either the strap is too narrow or the velcro strips themselves aren't long enough, but it didn't take much walking on my part for the straps to start popping open. I kept trying to tighten them, hoping they would stay put, but no deal. If you're planning on sitting, get these shoes. However, if you prefer to move around, I'd recommend something with a little more sticking power. So sad!

I bought a pair of these 5 years ago. While they may be dirty, after all these years, they're still comfortable and holding together. I've worn them in National Parks and while shopping. I wore them before I was pregnant, while I was pregnant with swollen feet, and after when I went up a size. These shoes have been through everything. They are worth every penny!

Shoe looks great. I normally wear a size 8, but I felt like a little kid in their mom's shoes, they were so big! Returning to get a 7 and hopefully they will be perfect. On a side note, Zappos has always been a favorite place of mine to shop, but I have been amazed at their service this time! The customer service has been above and beyond anything I have ever experienced. Top Notch guys, well done!

These cute sandals are lightweight, very adjustable, and super comfortable. I took them on vacation, and walked all day long without a problem.

Very comfortable and the right amount of support. Inadvertently wore them on a hike at Zions NP and was wondering if they would provide enough support and they did. Love them!

I normally wear an 8½ but these did not offer half sizes so I ordered an 8. They fit perfectly fit and are so comfortable. They looks great with capris, jeans or long skirts. No break in time needed. I am very happy.

I love these shoes! They are so comfortable! I would like to respond to the review that found the shoe clasp difficult to operate. I just open the Velcro on the instep side of the shoe to take my shoes off and on. Easy!

As always, great shoes from Merrell, and outstanding service from Zappos. I bought these sandals for my 26 year old daughter. She has narrow feet and very high arches. These sandals can be tightened to fit her well and have great arch support.

These sandals are my all time favorites. I have a narrow foot and these are adjustable. They are very comfortable and seem to last forever!

Love these! I loved these the first time they made these a couple years ago. They are not too loose in the toe box, I do have mildly wide feet.

I'm an 8M with high arches. I also work retail and am on my feet all day, but wear dresses all summer long. I need a comfortable sandal that looks relatively nice (or inconspicuous) and gives good support. These are by far the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. I bought them in brown and then got a white pair as well the very next day. The only negative point is that I'm not crazy about the colors or color combinations. I would prefer plain brown (no orange), plain white (no blue), a less-bright blue, etc. I bought them anyway though -- so worth it!

Loved the look of this shoe and the feel of the footbed & if the sandal fits you, you'll find it has excellent arch support! The bad news & reasons I had to return is that the buckle on the outside of the shoe is so tiny & really difficult to undo, much less hook back together. More importantly, the 2 forward most crossover straps on the top of the shoe are really really tight! I had to force my foot forward just to get it completely forward in the sandal. Then the straps 'hugged' the top of my feet so tight it looked like I had puffy feet. Really cute, sturdy, yet delicate looking sandal though. Wish they fit!

Finally found sandals that work for me! I have been having a lot of pain on the instep of 1 foot that goes all the way up to my lower back, and have tried on several pairs to no avail. As soon as I tried these on, I knew they would be the ones! They are so comfy! The extra effort that Merrell puts in to make sure their shoes are comfortable really make a difference. I think the Q Fit and shock absorbing heel cup are really important components that make these sandals worth purchasing. I had to outrun a thunderstorm wearing these yesterday, while pushing a stroller with a 5 year old and 2 year old in it, and my feet didn't hurt at all. That was the ultimate test for me!

I was so happy to see these sandals available through Zappos. I had purchased the identical pair several years ago at a retail store, but they were starting to look a bit shabby. These out so comfortable and are actually great for walking on a summer day. If you are looking for comfort these are the sandals for you.

Great shoes! I have owned the same style Merrell's for about 5 years and have been looking for another pair for years as they are getting rather worn now. I was very happy to find them again but since they don't come in half sizes I ordered both an 8 and a 9. I wear a size 8 1/2 and will be keeping the size 8. I can tell you they will stretch out in time. This is a good supportive, attractive sandal. I have worn it with skirts, shorts, jeans, and pants. It looks good with them all. The shoe is very comfortable and I have walked miles in mine. The adjustable straps help create the perfect fit. The arch support is moderate and the shoe initially feels a bit narrow but it won't for long because these shoes will adjust to your feet.

These are great sandals! They're very supportive and comfortable, a great shade of blue and look cute too!

I bought these sandals for a trip to China. I walked miles and miles all over Hong Kong and Shanghai and these were more comfortable than any other shoes Ive even worn. I would recommend them to anyone for comfort. The one thing I didn't like about them was the velcro. My foot was small enough that I had to have them very tight and most of the velcro didn't match up with the opposing side and therefore didn't lay flat.

Love the shoe, but the width seem to narrow for a medium. I bought the same pair in brown a couple of years ago in a size six and they fit and I'm still wearing them.

I love the arch support in these shoes and the footbed is the perfect size for my foot; however, even with tightening the straps they are just too loose. So unfortunately it's back they go. I loved the little buckle, too. And the red color is fabulous.

These are great comfortable sandals! I have issues and need arch support; these put me in perfect alignment. I have them in all the colors. My old white ones need to be retired and I am not happy with the new white/turquoise. WHY NOT MAKE THEM IN SOLID WHITE LIKE BEFORE??? I'm very disappointed with that aspect so I'm giving them an overall score of 4, but I love love the sandals.

After reading all the reviews I ordered a pair in size 7 because a lot of people said they ran a little large, but the 7s were too small so I exchanged them for a size 8 and they're perfect (I wear a 7.5 - 8, depending on the shoe). I walked a mile and a half in them this morning and they're very comfortable, and they're not rubbing or giving me blisters anywhere. These are great sandals.

Lovely cushy, rugged sole, good arch support, and I like that the insole's fabric (or suede?) instead of plastic, which can get sweaty. These are a little more feminine than the standard rafting/hiking-type outdoor sandals; you could probably get away with wearing them with a casual sundress. The only reason I'm returning them is that the strap over the toes is a bit tight n my big toe, pulling it in (towards the other toes), which makes my bunions hurt more. But if you don't have that issue, this would be an awesome travel/outdoor sandal.
