Where the stitching comes together on the right shoe, just about at my little toe, the seam there rubs my toe. At first I thought it was my sock. But upon further investigation it turned out to be the way the shoe is sewn. I love Merrell shoes. I have been searching for one to replace the pair I currently have. Thought this pair would work.

Merrill walking shoes are usually very comfortable. I also like The Taos Sandal with the straps that adjust.

I wore these shoes on the 102 mile long distance path The Cotswold Way in England. They were comfortable, strong and though I retired them for personal reasons they have a lot of life left in them. I didnt give them 5 stars for "overall" only because in water and mud my socks did get wet. Only once did they get soaked though, after all, they're water resistant not waterproof. I'm on my 3rd pair!

These shoes are very comfortable and stable. I like the support on the inside of the shoe because I have a weak ankle. The traction is great. They are more narrow than other shoes of the same brand.

Good fit, but this is the "new" sizing from Merrell. It's cut smaller and narrower than Merrells from two or three years ago. Plenty of support, neutral color that blends well with lighter clothing

These sneakers good. I've had my original pair, wearing them almost every day, year round, for 2 years and I still won't throw them away. Some people say they are uncomfortable, but all I can say further is, different feet, different comfortability factor.

This shoe is one of the easiest to put on. The tongue pulls out pretty far and then the laces pull it all back together really nicely. I'm into the design.

This is about my sixth pair of these shoes. I order a new pair about once a year and recycle the old ones to yard work duty. They're extremely comfortable and fit me (9M) very well. My only wish would be a better selection of colors. I picked the black and pink this time not because I'm thrilled with the colors but just because they were the only color that didn't look tired and boring. Merrell should consider updating their palette.

These are surprisingly lightweight. A little stiff in the sole, but I think they will ease up enough in time and feel more flexible. But I can't really get over how lightweight they are. Size felt good. I'm normally a 9 1/2 with a pump and I got these in a 10 and they're perfect. Enough room in front of the toe.

The comfort level these shoes provided was not equal to the high price.

The inside of the shoe, where the shoe laces start, rubs my big toe. I have to return these. I am disappointed, since I was so happy with the original Merrell Siren Sport.

These are great looking shoes and very durable, however they are very uncomfortable. Every time I wear them my feet hurt for days after. Sadly I cannot return because I have worn them outside, even though they are in perfect shape.

I love Merrells normally, but these are different. (My favorite style was discontinued.) It took a long time to break them in. I would have given up and returned them but didn't have time to wait on another pair. Eventually, they have become alright for my daily walking and general purpose-wear. Still, not what I had come to expect from the Merrell brand.

I an trying them out indoors. They were marked wide, but as soon as I put them on, my little toe felt like there was no room for it. My bunion felt the same way. I am sad, because these do not come in double E, but my other two pairs of Merrells were just marked wide and I have been able to wear them with no problem.

I usually love Merrells, but these seemed to be made narrower than usual. They're ok for limited periods, but not comfy enough for all day wear.

I have wide feet and these felt narrow. I really liked the waterproof version of Siren Sport but size 7 was too small and 7½ too big.

I have previously purchased this shoe style two times. The pair that I bought around 2007/2008 was the best and in fact are still my go to shoes. I bought another pair around 20012/20013 and they were not nearly as comfortable or durable as the original pair and are now thrown out. I ordered this pair and they are large, so am returning. These shoes run large. I have worn a size 8 for about 40 years and this is not a size 8. It is cavernous.

I have narrow feet but the toe box on this shows feels narrow to me. I'm scared when I hike and feet swell they will be too snug. They will be going back.

As noted by other reviewers, there is a raised spot inside the shoe that rubbed on my small toe. I ordered a half-size larger than usual but they still rubbed my toe and I had to send them back.

This shoe is not the same as the older style. It is sized bigger. I have arthritis in my knees and these shoes make it difficult to walk comfortably. I can wear my older ones every day with no discomfort.

I completely agree with a couple other reviewers that there is something in one of the shoes that rubs on my small toe. One shoe felt fine and the other one I could feel something poking out and did not want to chance wearing them to see if it corrected itself and then being unable to return them if it didn't. I also did feel like when I walked they slipped up in the heal. Maybe I got the same pair as the other reviewer, maybe its all of them. Either way I returned it and went with something else to be on the safe side.

I love the Siren Sport but this Sport 2 is such a disappointment. Just as other reviews have stated there is something in this shoe that rubs the small toe. I have tried the medium and the wide (hoping it would help) but it still rubs. I hope Merrell's returns to the original Siren Sport model; if they do I will be back.

These have good arch support and a nice stiff sole, so they take a long time to break in. I've had mine for about a month and they're starting to loosen up a little. They are cut very low on the ankle, and I can't tie them any tighter without crushing the top of my foot. I'm not sure they'll be any good for actual hiking - no ankle support, they slip off very easily even though the size fits me perfectly, and I think lots of debris will get inside because they are cut so low. I'm somewhat hesitant to try them out on the trails.

Ordered this in 9W to replace an 8.5 regular, needing more room in length and toe box. First day both small toes were irritated, second day, so painful I could hardly walk.
Toe box does not seem wider, even narrower than the ones I'm replacing.
Consequently have to return.

After an 18 month rehab for a severe case of PF, I went on a quest for a shoe that provided just enough arch "support," not a shoe that pushed my arch upwards and tilted my feet to the outside. I originally purchased a pair of Siren Sport 2 in 10M. I gave this shoe a good, long trial and determined that I needed a wide width and perhaps a half size larger. I ordered 10.5W and thought that I had found the perfect shoe. For about 3 days. This shoe has a seam inside that cuts across the outside "knuckle" area of the pinky toe. It is much more severe in the right shoe than in the left. I only noticed this slightly in the 10M, but in the 10.5W it made the shoe absolutely painful. After trying to stretch the shoe out and wearing a stick on pad on my pinky for a few days, I finally gave up. I am wondering why the wide shoe was so much more restrictive than the medium width. I have had success with Merrell Moabs in the past, but this shoe just has flaws. I am back to my Keen Voyageurs and will be looking for a couple more styles from that company.

So I screwed up on this order, thinking I was getting the Siren Sport 2 Waterproof. Alas, not so. I ordered a half size larger as suggested by others, and the fit is good except for the loose heel, also described by others. I put those sticky heel guards in and they help somewhat. I do like the color. In sum, not the greatest purchase for me, but I'm using them.
