Great flexibility and tread for all activities whether gym work, a run or a hike. So comfortable. Love all Merrell shoes but this one now my favorite.

So comfortable, supportive and easy to wear! The shoe feels a bit lower profile than some other hiking shoes I tried on; the fabric around the heel is supportive but not huge and puffy. The fabric is vented so air can flow into the shoe while you're walking, but it's not a "barefoot" shoe. I'm using these for moderate to easy hikes (short day hikes or 1-2 night trips). Merrells run a tiny bit narrower than some other shoes, so if you have a wide foot, try the brand called Keen. If Merrells typically fit you, stay with this brand or I also like Nike (Keen will be too wide in the toe box). I have a narrow-to-average width foot, high arches, and wear a size 11, and I always order medium width shoes.

I love the convenience of ordering online. Delivery is so quick, and I'm always sure of customer satisfaction.

I just reluctantly retired my 6 or 7 year old original Siren Sports as the heels had worn down. Having read some negative reviews about the SS2's I hung on to the old ones as long as possible. The most noticeable changes seem to be that the Newbuck has been replaced by some man made materials, the tongue is narrower, making getting a snug fit harder, and the laces are skinnier. The shoes may also be marginally shorter. That said, they're still the best looking and most comfortable sneakers I have.

This may be my first shoe review - I read them all the time and find them helpful (thank you to all who write regularly) and I loved these shoes so much that I had to let others know. I wore these two days in a row right out of the box and my feet felt great the entire time. Day 1 - Camelback Mountain (level: difficult) The sole was comfortable and firm with good traction. I hiked this previously in hiking boots and could feel the difference with ankle support, however I loved that these were lightweight and breathable, so worth the trade off for me. Day 2: North Mountain (level: moderate) perfect shoe for this hike. Overall I am extremely happy with the performance and they look good, too! I wear an 8 shoe and a 9 running shoe and ordered these in an 8½, which was the perfect size. This is my first pair of Merrells.

I could not find 11W anywhere - even Merrell would not have them until February. Friend said to try Zappos. But it was not in stock. I pushed a button to let me know when they came in - thinking that it would remind me to check in February. The next day I got a message that they found me a pair - what great service is that!

I have one pair of these shoes; perfect fit! This pair, right shoe, the lace attachment sits on top of my little toe. Ouch! This is a manufacturing glitch, I'm sure, since the other pair I have is fine, and the left shoe of this pair is also fine. Great shoe. Too bad re: this detail.

I just purchased my 3rd pair from Zappos. These are great shoes. I use them for walking; about 16 miles per week. I wear custom made orthotics, so I have to go 1/2 size larger. My shoe size is an 8 and would normally buy an 8 1/2 in these shoes with my orthotics, but the shoes run about 1/2 size small, thus the size 9 that I purchase. Lots of support and wide enough for my foot. No breaking in time with these shoes, put them on, lace them up and out the door you go. As usual, Zappos had my new shoes to me over night, thank you Zappos, you are great!! And my new kitten loved the Zappos box to play and sleep in and great recycling.

This shoe fits like a sneaker and is fabulous! Very comfortable - I want to wear it several days before leaving on vacation but I doubt it requires much "breaking in." I will probably get another pair in the black as well.

Not wide enough for my very wide bunion foot. Will have to go back. I wish these had fit because they are light weight, just right for summer day hikes or long walks.

I've never hiked before, but planned a trip and needed some shoes to get me through the week. These were AWESOME. In less than 6 days, I hiked the Grand Canyon's South Kaibab Trail, Bryce Canyon's Navajo Loop/Queen's Garden Trail, Zion National Park's Angel's Landing, and the Valley Of Fire's Fire Wave trail. My feet were comfortable the whole time, and the shoes provided great support and excellent grip!

Great service! Thanks for efficiency. I love this shoe. It is my basic. I have recommended it to my clients and they love it as well. it is one of the few athletic shoes made with a high toe box. Why can't shoe makers figure out we don't have flat toes? Love your socks too. Didn't find any to buy though on Zappos. Boo hoo.

Merrell shoes are always comfortable to me and these were no exception. In fact, I bought these to replace the same pair that were 3 years old and starting to come apart. I wear these shoes for exercising and a nightly 2 mile walk every day. They hold up through everything and are well worth the money.

I use these shoes for walking. Mostly city but great for hiking too. They have excellent support and are extremely comfortable. I bought 3 pairs over the past few years. Use them fall, winter and spring. Highly recommend.

I always have to have a pair of these in my closet. Walking, easy trail hiking, standing for long periods, great support without being overly stiff. They are made for a woman's body. And not bulky - no snubbing toes on rugs!

I purchase a pair of these every year, I wear them everyday to work. I have been pleased with the quality.

This is my fourth pair of these. Several years ago, they quit putting in the clown-length shoelaces...now everything about these shoes rocks.

These shoes are so comfortable. I love them. I usually wear a 9, but in these I get an 8 1/2. They are great for non vigorous day hikes or just running around town.

These are great shoes. They size just right. Glad I got the wide shoe for the bunions.

GREAT shoes! Love the light weight of them, and yet a very supportive sole; not a great arch (I am building them up myself) but a strong and light shoe that has stood up to my hiking well. Although not the waterproof style, when these get wet, they dry out fairly quickly. VERY please with these shoes, I will be ordering another pair! Love them!

This shoe was just what I was looking for, but I am disappointed to say it was too short and too narrow for me. I wear a size 11 medium, and this shoe was at least a half size, maybe full size too small. And 11 is the largest it is offered in for women. I have to send it back.

I have absolutely no complaints with these shoes. I wear a size 10, and these felt very true to size. Perhaps they feel a smidge narrow, but I have bought similar Merrells before, and over time they do stretch a little bit, so I'm not worried about that. They look great, and after a full day of walking my feet still feel great.

These are great shoes for walking! I walk four miles a day and these shoes have the great support and comfort like all the Merrells that I have owned. I wear orthotics so I go up half a size (from a size 8½ to 9). These Merrells have great toe boxes that are perfect for wide feet, and bunions, but I purchased a M. This is my second pair of the Siren Sport. This pair has not lasted as long as my first Siren Sport (the tread has worn down much faster), but I still love the shoes, the fit and Zappos for fast delivery, and free shipping both ways. I am up to purchase a new pair and will stick with this model of Merrells.

I love these shoes. I have small, high arched and wide feet and when I found the forerunner of these five years ago I was thrilled. Eventually they died and the hunt for new ones began. It was not until I found Zappos that I was able to find this nearly identical pair at a decent price.

Since I have some foot and ankle problems, I have to be very particular about my choices. This pair really hit all the marks. Particularly for me is that you can put in your own innersoles (I use a gel innersole) and have ample room in the toe box. There is a good sole for support yet the shoe is not too heavy. All of this along with a really good looking shoe. These Merrells pass all of my tests! And the price was right. Thanks to the designers.
