This is my 2nd pair of the Siren Sport 2. I have foot issues & have become a huge Merrell fan - their shoes are the 1st ones I can wear and do NOT need my orthotic inserts to have long term comfort. I own the Moab Ventilator which is a good durable hiking/walking shoe but the Moab is bulkier and stiff - the Siren Sport is lighter weight and good for general wear and walking. I wear now these instead of a traditional sneaker or tennis shoe.

This is my first pair of Merrell shoes and it won't be the last. As soon as I put them on I could feel a difference. The shoe actually cupped my foot and was so comfortable. I was able to walk around all day and no sore or tired feet! They are now my favorite shoe and I wear them everywhere.

This is the most comfortable tennis shoe I have ever purchased. It's so easy to put on as the tongue of the shoe lifts back to allow your foot to go in easy. The color I wanted was out of stock but I decided to try the anyway. So glad I did.

This is my THIRD pair of Merrell Siren Sport 2 and to say I love them is an understatement! Every shoe is different for every person but putting these on the first time was like they were made for my feet. And I must tell everyone that I ordered this pair at about 2pm MT on one day and - by George - they arrived the very next day! Wowsers! Good product - great company!!

This is a good, supportive shoe, comfortable right out of the box. The insoles are removable allowing me to put in my own for plantar issues. The laces are round which is normally the kiss of death - but these actually stay tied even with a single knot. There is a little more play in the heel area than I would like, but other than that, the fit is terrific. They do squeak a little on hard surfaces so if you are planning on using this for a sneak attack, probably should look elsewhere. ON the other hand, if you want a durable, comfortable, supportive shoe for everything from workouts to hiking - this is a winner. Repeat buyer.

Great fit comfortable no break in needed

Cute hiking shoes! I bought a size larger and they fit pretty well. A little loose in the heel, but we're comfortable.

I chose this shoe over many others because it fit my bunion shaped foot with ease. I walk a lot (often 6 to 9 miles on a trail). I need a good supportive shoe. This shoe is good for me because of the lacing system that allowed for a more custom fit than the other shoes I tried. The wide lace holes allow me to keep the laces loose at the front of my foot (brilliant). I tried to put in a full arch support (under the insole included with the shoe) but the additional height of the arch support caused my foot to lift out of the back of the shoe. No worries, I just added the little tiny arch (from the full arch support) under the insole and then shoe felt great. It's a nice looking shoe in a good color (I like black or dark gray shoes) and my feet are very happy. The arch support that I use for my high arches (and that I mentioned in this review) are called WalkFit.

I am a Merrell fan. This is my 2nd Merrell hiking shoe. These are very comfy and have the arch support that I need. I wouldn't call the color olive.

I'm on my 5th pair of these...having narrow, big, flat feet...need I say more? Love the fit and the feminine touch of color. Please don't change them!

I could not be happier, they came in a couple of days, they were exactly what I ordered, and they fit perfectly, this is about my second time using Zappos, and the first time that I needed to make a return, due to my mistake, (not theirs, and even doing the return was a joy, very easy, at no cost to me, I give them a big thumbs up!

After suffering from a severe case of plantar fasciitis for 6 months and trying many shoes, I can finally walk my 2.5 mile walk again in comfort with these shoes. These shoes have the support I needed, and feel absolutely wonderful. They have been my saving grace.

Great shoe, much lighter than the other, clunkier Merrell hiking shoes. In the end, I opted for the All Out Crush Light because it is even lighter and great for walking anywhere, not just hiking, but still with great traction. I would have kept these if i had not tried the All Out Crush Light. These do have very nice heel-to-toe roll, though, which I liked. Fit very true to size.

Merrell hiking shoes run about a 1/2 size smaller than your usual running shoe. I normally buy a 7.5 in Asics and needed a size 8 in these. I broke these in on an 8 mile hike and they were extremely comfortable and supportive.

This is a sturdy, comfortable shoe. I have "foot issues" and ordered a wide, which accommodates my bunion and hammer toes. I walk a lot and this shoe remains comfortable.

This is my second pair of Siren Sport. They are great fitting trail shoes with good traction on hilly loose surfaces. Love that the larger sizes come in half sizes. The arch support is good but I use inserts for even better position.

Perfection! Don't let the price stop you. True to size and width. Right out of the box ready to wear. No break in necessary.

Loved the shoe, hated the grey shoe laces, for this price I expect black laces not grey ones. Easy solution, please add black ones in the box. But like I said, for that price I am not going to buy my own.

I wear a wear width shoe and the 8W fits great; it is a very comfortable shoe to wear. I am planning on lots of hiking trip this summer wearing this sturdy and light weight hiker.

Terrific shoes. These replace my old pair. I walk about 2.5 miles in them most days and they are very comfortable. These are good year round in Florida weather, warm enough in our mild winters and not too hot in the summer months. Highly recommended.

I'm currently on my third pair of this shoe and I love them and wear them almost every day. They're comfortable from the start and don't need much breaking in ans usually last a very long time, and I'm generally pretty hard on my shoes, with lots of walking. My only complaint about this 3rd pair is that the material on the sides ripped on both shoes about the the ball of my foot is, probably from it bending when walking. I haven't had that happen with any of the pair I had before so I'm not sure why these shoes are ripping. It's kinda disappointing since I would be able to wear them for longer if it wasn't for the ripped part that let's cold air in. Still considering getting a 4th pair though.

Comfortable right out of the box. This is my second pair of these shoes - I wore the other ones out! Great support (I have low arches) with lots of room in the toe box. Love these shoes.

The Siren offers good arch support in a lightweight but sturdy shoe. Wear in Summer hiking with lightweight sox or in Winter walking commute with smart wool sox for added warmth. I had my last pair for 3 years and this new pair feels just as great!

Tried another Merrell shoe to change it up but had to send them back. Ordered the Siren Sport 2 again and find that it's always an incredible fit! Why change when they fit like a glove? Great shoes, perfect fit, did well on the mountain trails in the Asheville, NC area. Thanks, Zappos!

I absolutely love these shoes! I needed a good pair of walking shoes before my trip to Italy this spring and I was worried because I ran out of time to break in a pair. These were perfect from the first time I wore them - comfortable, plenty of support, and sturdy. I would highly recommend them!
