I love these shoes! I bought for my summer trip to the Canadian Rockies where I hiked and walked all day long. My feet never hurt and I did not get any blisters. These shoes are very comfortable! The shoes do run a 1/2 size big. Keep in mind when ordering.

I bought these for my wife after my review on the Proterra Vim Sport. She absolutely loves these shoes. We got them mainly for hiking, but she uses them for the gym and walking. They generally run a half size big, so adjust accordingly.

Extremely comfortable shoes. I ordered them for hiking and ended up wearing them almost every day of our 9 day vacation. We did a lot of walking and standing during the day and at the end of the day, my feet did not hurt. No blisters either! I highly recommend these shoes for anyone on their feet a lot.

These are great shoes. No break in time was necessary. They were comfortable right out of the box. I got the black so that I could wear them to work and I could not be happier with the feel and fit. The sizing is right on. And no risk buying from Zappos who has a free return policy. I highly recommend them. I am very picky when it comes to my shoes, with comfort and support on the top of my list. If you are on the fence about buying a pair of these shoes, take the plunge you will not be sorry.

I have problem feet and usually choose Keens, but these shoes are amazing. They feel so good and are very cute.

I wore these shoes on my first trail run. It was raining on the day of the race. My feet did not slip on the mud or get wet. I always buy 1/2 size up from my normal shoe size. These shoes were perfect.

I've been searching for a pair of hiking shoes that could be worn for casual wear too. These are perfect. Not only are they cute, I got them in blue, they're extremely comfortable. I haven't worn them hiking yet but think they'll be good. I like that they're flexible but have a thick sole and they didn't suffocate my feet like the Merrell Moab Ventilator I tried on.

These shoes are very light and comfortable. I wear them all day teaching school and walking my dog and my back does not hurt like it does when I wear other shoes. I highly recommend them to anyone who spends a lot of time on their feet!

Great little sneaker, true to size. I bought these to bring on vacation for light hiking/walking. Easy to pack and true to Merrill...very comfortable.

I love these shoes! These fit true to size and are very comfortable. Very little to no break-in time. I can't wait to wear them on my hiking trip to Colorado. I tried on a different color at my local store, had them order the black/orange for me. They called back and said they were on back order from Merrell until mid July. I turned around and ordered them from Zappos, and Zappos! I had them the next day! And free shipping! Thank you, Zappos!

These shoes are amazing! Far exceeded expectations. Their first trip out of the box was a rocky, sometimes icy and snowy, slippery vertical scramble of a 6 mile hike and my feet were dry and warm the entire time! Amazing traction and stability for such a lightweight shoe. Rinsed off the mud afterward and in the black color the shoes still look brand new. Arch support fairly minimal but worked great with Superfeet insoles. Highly recommend!

I used them right out of the box for a 4 mile hike and had no problems. They are comfortable and I really like the bright color. I plan on ordering the blue ones as well.

I've been trying on shoes for a trip to Italy so am looking for certain specifics and have checked out the All Out Blaze and Moab Ventilator (too much lug depth) and the Azura (too bulky) and the Siren Sport 2 (not good lacing system) and the Proterra Vim Sport. It's been a challenge to find the right lug depth, style and comfort. The Proterra Vim was great...comfortable, flexible and stylish but it truly is a "minimalist" shoe...the lug was too shallow (2.5m) for long days of walking and the balls of my feet felt like i was barefoot.

This is a comfortable shoe however it does not provide the arch support and comfort that my other Merrells do. I have several issues with my feet - bunions, arthritis, narrow heels - and finding comfortable and attractive footwear is a struggle.

Tried these as a friend loves hers but after a brief walk got medial knee pain. Tired to change my gait. No pain when I put on my old Brooks. So not sure what the issue was.

I got this shoe for travel. I wanted something lightweight, not huge looking, enough support for walking on pavement yet could handle rough walking on non-paved areas. I also wanted a very low heel and a shoe with some traction. This shoe does all that. I got it in black and it does not make my feet look large. I am not crazy about the orange trim. It is nominally a hiking shoe, but I don't think I would try it on a long, rocky trail. It has a seam across the tongue that could be bothersome if the top of your feet are sensitive. Also, I did not particularly like the lacing system-- instead of all grommets there are some fabric loops. These last 2 reasons are why I give it 4 stars. Nevertheless, the benefits for me far outweigh the drawbacks. I wish I had gotten the goretex version for rainy days.

I'll start with the positives: I ordered the gray color, and I really like the way it looks; the small drop is very comfortable and natural-feeling; the tread is enough for outside, but not so aggressive that I can't drive or run errands in them; the toe box is nice and roomy; and they have enough cushion for running around after the dog and kids, but not so much that I can no longer feel the ground. Unfortunately, the negative is such that I may end up returning these: the sling that attaches the tongue to the insole of the shoe makes it too tight across my instep. I can totally remove the laces from the shoes and the tops of my feet still feel too tightly squeezed. I have high arches and insteps, so for many people this might not be a problem, but for me it may sadly turn out to be a deal breaker. The length seems true to size, and though this doesn't really feel like an official wide shoe, it definitely is wider in the toe area than most other regular width shoes.

Lost one star because the tread can't handle slippery slopes of wet Seattle sidewalks. Otherwise, the perfect shoe. Good with orthotics, too.

Great except for one thing. The tongue is too short. Yes, I'm the type that laces up to the last hole & then the laces slip past the tongue and rest on my ankle. Just FYI, ladies. Still love Merrell.

I am a dedicated Merrell shoe wearer, especially hiking shoes. I was excited to try these, so I ordered my usual size I wear in their hiking shoes. When they arrived I put them on and they were too big. I exchanged them for a half size smaller and they were fine length wise, but the front part of the shoe was too wide. I actually checked to make sure I had not received a wide by mistake. I am returning them because of the sizing, but I do have to say they looked nice and were light and supportive, thus the higher rating. However, I would say if you have a narrower foot, look elsewhere. Medium is usually fine for me, but not this shoe.

These shoes do not have the usual Merrell quality I've enjoyed previously. These are stylish for an outdoor shoe, flexible and airy. The soles are hard. I tried using padded insoles which helped a little, but not enough to wear these for hours on a hike.

Mostly comfortable and I probably would have kept them if the tongue had been designed properly. As it is, it is long and weirdly sharp. Digs into the front of my fairly normally proportioned ankle. Hate to think how this would feel after a few hours. Sorry, Merrell, I normally love you and have about 6 pairs of your shoes but these suck. Sending back.

I thought I'd like these when I ordered them, but not crazy about the way they look or feel. I have a narrow heel, but need a shoe with a wide-ish toe because of bunions. These did fit length and width-wise (true to size), but didn't feel at all stable or very well cushioned. Also, the forefront area of the shoe crinkles up badly when you walk. Sent them back. Kept the North Face Ultra Fastpack GTX hikers because they feel way more stable, give me the fit I need, and look nice too.
