I love this sandal, but it is not going to fit people with a wide ankle or really high arches. The length runs about 1/2 size longer than most Keens, but the problem, just like people have said, is that the narrow strap that runs across the top of your foot does not completely undo, and even at it's loosest setting will feel too tight for wide ankled or high arched feet. I have skinny feet, so my foot swims in the shoe in the toe area, but that is fine as I am using these for drumming performance, and we take many, many small sidesteps and if a shoe is too tight in that area it hurts my pinkie toes. But the top of the foot strap is nearly too tight for me, even on the loosest setting. I love the style of the shoe, it has a super comfortable footbed as long as you don't need lots of arch support. It also is proving extremely durable with all of the abuse I am putting it through. Just beware of the above-mentioned caveats.

Great shoe! I have narrow feet and high arches. But I can wear these sandals all day without discomfort.

I love these shoes. I have Keen Venice H2 sandals which I have worn for travel but these Rose Sandals are much more attractive. They were confortable right out of the box.

I love these shoes! I have Keen Venice H2 which I also love, but they are far from cute. These shoes are actually cute...even on my size 11 feet! They were comfortable right from the box. They will be great when I travel and do a lot of walking.

I am one of those people who hates practically every shoe she buys -- I have weird, hard-to-fit feet, I guess, and nothing ever seems to fit comfortably. That said, these sandals felt great right out of the box. I have not taken them off since they arrived! Love the soft, stretchy elastic and adjustable velcro strap. The clunky rubber toe shield makes them very un-dressy, and I could use a little more arch support (my problem, not the shoe's). But overall I am thrilled with them and am ordering a pair in another color right now.

I ordered the burnt henna. It's more of a brick red. Not at all like the photo, and I am going to exchange it for a different color. The length size is true to size. Fits a little snug across the instep. And the ankle band is a little high on the foot. Pinky toe gets caught on one of the straps putting them on so it's not a quick slide in. The suede straps seem much flimsier than previous Keen shoes Or sandals I have purchased. (I have many styles of Keen shoes and sandals.) I love the standard footbed of this style shoe but it can't compare to the Balboa style of two years ago. It has a lot of 'top of the foot coverage' for a 'sandal'; however, I'm going to get a pair since the line this year seems more for kids.

I got a 7 1/2 which is what I always wear back they were too big. I thought they. Felt comfortable and lightweight. I'll be sending them back but I'm gonna try a 1/2 small.

I have a high arch. Even though the arch on these does not look high, there is more support than it looks like because the toe bed is lower. It’s a very gradual arch support. Which actually worked for me. However, they’re hard to get into, they don’t open up. They’re stretchy thin material on top and if you don’t get them on just perfectly then you’re gonna get rubbed the straps wanted to double over when I slid my foot in. For the price I just felt like I needed something a little more substantial on top. And I prefer the ankle strap to totally open up for easy access. I wear Keen shoes a lot. I miss their leather footbeds. Also these have a weird smell.

Wish I could return it. It hurts my bunion.

The box said green granite color (which is what I ordered), but the shoes inside were grey. Returning, as I did not get what I ordered.

The width was too narrow, as was the toe box. Strap on back was not adjustable, so was too tight.

I loved this shoe, but... They arrived today, I put them on and walked around on my wood and carpeted floors. It was quickly apparent there was not enough arch support. I have owned 5 or 6 pairs of Keen Newport H2 sandals, I wear them constantly, but I wanted something with a little more style. I wish Keen would put more of the Newport H2 soles on some other sandals. I also order Keen flip flops, but they're going back too, sole too thin.

Very cute sandals. However, the straps hit at the bunion area on both feel. Was hoping the fabric would come up high enough onto my foot to avoid that problem. The right sandal felt like it was too big and my foot didn't sit in it correctly. I'm very disappointed to have to send these back, as my favorite hiking boots are waterproof, Keens.

I have had three other pairs of the Rose, including one black one. Bought these as back up pair as I really like them. The right shoe fits completely differently than my previous pairs.

too big and too wide for my feet

They were a bit too narrow for me and the side of my food hung off the edge. In returning them. They look greyhound and were otherwise comfortable

I ordered a 1/2-size larger to accommodate wide-ish feet (plus I am recovering from bunion surgery on my left foot), so the shoes were a combination of too long and too narrow. Unfortunately, I am returning them.

I'm not a sports shoe/sandal person at all, but I have been recently going for long walks in a wooded area so I thought I'd try these. I have flat feet and weak ankles so the footbed is important to me. I bought the gargoyle/raven which is a neutral to cool grey. Pros: 1) These seem to be the least unattractive of the sport sandals out there—almost kind of cute. 2) My usual size 9 fits fine and the toe bed is nice and wide. 3) They seem stable, are close to the foot, and low to the ground, reducing the chance that I will turn my ankle. Cons: 1) Despite Keen's "Metatomical EVA molded footbed with Aegis protection" (whatever that is), I am not detecting any arch support in this shoe. 2) The footbed is so hard! 3) I haven't even worn them outside and the finish is wearing off here and there. ALL THIS SAID, I AM KEEPING THEM. I got them on sale ($86) and with a pair of ProFoot Stress Relief insoles (the fuschia ones) inserted, they are much, much more comfortable; cushiony with arch support. The insoles are clearly not meant for submersion in water, but I'm not wearing these in water.

Too tight across ankle . Cuts in and no way to loosen them. They have to go back

I ordered the 9.5 first, but they were tight across the top of foot, so I ordered the 10 hoping for a better result. Still tight across the top, so I am returning both the 9.5 and 10.

I like Keen shoes however the strap on this sandal does not have enough adjustment for my comfort

Keens are known for a square toebox, which accommodes a wide foot and for providing good arch support. It seems arch support has been compromised over the years. It’s very disappointing. I kept the sandals because they’re nice looking and relatively comfortable. But I won’t be able to wear them for a long day on my feet or hiking. There’s just not enough support.
