The sandals are so lightweight! I plan to use them on the beach and wanted the toe covering so I can transition them to water activities (kayaking, canoeing, etc). I was disappointed in lack of arch support, but I believe I will get used to them. I wear Danskos 41 and the 10.5 in these are PERFECT! It's so rare to find half sizes after 10. Except for the lacking arch, these are great. Giving 4 stars.

I sadly couldn't even try them on, my usually normal, medium width feet wouldn't even go in. they looked well made and a nice color.

I do have wide feet and these were narrow for me. Plus there was little stretch in the material. Even though there is velcro, the ankle is fixed. I tried the Keen Kira instead and was very happy with that. If you consider your feet wide I would look for that or another style.

I have never owned water shoes and knew nothing about them. I wanted shoes for kayaking and river walking. I ordered Rose Sandal and Whisper. I have a 12 N foot and high arches. The Rose sandal is very pretty and feminine and overall attractive. The Whisper is also very attractive and well made. In the end, I decided to return the Rose sandal as it is held on by Velcro and I wondered if that would stay shut is a strongish current. Whisper is a much more secure fit on the feet.

These were so cute but they were too small. I have 3 pair of Bali strap in 7's and this was way too tight. very little adjustment allowed

too large, even tho I have two Keen sandals similar that are a bit short in 7 1/2.. I've returned them

Loved the look, loved the style, thought they were a keeper until I put them on without socks. Then it all changed! I know when my daughter first got a pair of Keens in 2002 she was going down the Colorado river on a raft and needed a shoe that could get soaked, protect your toes, provide traction on wet surfaces and dry quickly. These were simply perfect. She has had Keens ever since. I thought these would be perfect for walking with the dogs etc and as I had never experienced the feel of the insole I had no idea how uncomfortable it would be on the foot. There is no way for perspiration to be absorbed and then when foot bed is damp, you slide around inside the shoe or it just feels gross. Plus I hated the way the texture felt under my foot. I only had them on for a half hour in my house, I can't imagine how terrible they would feel had I been outside and it had been a hot day. If I could have figured out a way to apply a sock to just the bottom of my foot I would haave kept, but that is not possible so back they go. No matter how cute, comfortable, etc I won't get another pair of Keens that are to be worn without socks.

I normally wear an 11 wide, and need a square or rounded toe box, not pointy at all. Keen's usually work great for both issues, but the other reviewers are correct. The KEEN Rose Sandal is actually pretty cute. I got it in the Gargoyle/Raven color which I like a lot more than the silvery gray. But there's virtually no arch support at all. They are almost flat where the arch should be. The issue with the strap around the ankle is accurate, too. I was hoping for an easy on/easy off sandal for the beach, but the strap across the top of the ankle is fixed, so I can see it being a challenge when at the beach full of sand, or trying to get these on & off with wet feet. I'm still on the fence with these, but I expect the hefty price tag of nearly $100 will be the big factor as to keeping or returning them.

It was just a bit too tight for my big toes. Love the overall feel except for that. I returned them and wish there was size 10 1/2.

These were exactly what I wanted! However, they didn't fit my foot. From other reviews, I was prepared that the neoprene ankle strap under the adjustable strap might be too tight and planned to cut and sew it if needed. And that area was snug on me but perhaps workable without this modification. The length was as expected. However, they were too small around the ball of the foot for me and there was no way to make them work. That front section just seemed too flat for my foot shape.

Very narrow across the top of the foot. Also, the ankle strap is a solid piece of neoprene so it is not so easy to slip on as similar sandals.

I wear a 9.5 N and these sandals fit well. For my foot, I could use more arch support, but overall I am well satisfied.

Super cute! Sadly, too small. And the non-adjustable strap at the ankle is too snug. A half size bigger would have maybe been better.

I normally wear a narrow width, but am able to wear this sandal thanks to the adjustable ankle strap. I especially like that this shoe has the look and feel of a sandal, but with a closed toe. It's well-made and sporty, but not clunky. The only downside is that I can't slip these sandals on. I have to adjust the straps each time, but I'm still very pleased with them.

Very cute and comfortable shoe, love the lavendar color. But due to the lack of arch support, I could see my ankles turning inward as I stepped. I have really high arches and a history of sprains. So sadly, back they go. I always wear a 7 with a wide toe box; Zappos recommended a 7.5 in this model, and it did fit.

Overall a cute, substantial feeling sandal, but they were too narrow for my feet; sent them back.

Cute, sturdy sandals. They were true to size in the length, but I found them to be too narrow for me. I returned them and purchased another pair of the Keen Bali Sandals.

The Keen Rose Sandal is a cute sandal, but my usual size in these were too narrow for me. I returned them.

I am very happy with this sandal; in fact I ordered another pair today in another color. They are true to size and so comfortable there was no "breaking in" time. No problem with the pinky toe popping out between the straps as some reviews mentioned. Velcro holds very well. I was worried that the soles would be a gravel magnet with all the crevices, but there is no problem at all. They stay very clean. Zappo's service is excellent in my experience.

I'm so glad that these worked, since after reading many reviews I had a lot of trepidation over the oft-mentioned nonadjustable ankle strap. They are tight on my high arch/high instep foot, but not so much that I think they'll be a problem. I am wearing them in the house, and they are already loosening some. But it's true, these sandals would fit a flat foot much better. It's not a matter of how big your ankles are, it's your instep. How far the top of your foot rises up. I read a great tip in a review at another website ( A****n, can I say that Zappos?) Anyway, it concerns the adjustable velcro strap that covers the nonadjustable fixed one. If like me the top of your foot is so high that the velcro doesn't line up right and the end of the strap doesn't reach all the way over to the side of your foot, you can thread a hair elastic through the buckle to lengthen the strap. Take a look over there for a photo that shows you what I mean. The foot bed is true to size in my opinion, unlike the Bali strap sandal that I had to return because it was so big. Same 7.5 as the Rose but far longer. Mine are blue which looks great with denim. I am really happy with them, feel that for sport sandals they look pretty feminine, and had a great experience with Zappos' customer service.

I like the style of these Keen's very much. But the strap across the instep doesn't expand enough, and I think would be uncomfortable if worn for an extended length of time. The strap's limited expansion also makes it hard to slip the sandal on.

The strap across the arch has an under-strap of elastic that is not very stretchy. This makes the shoes difficult to put on. The over-strap closes with velcro and is not very long. While the shoes are attractive and comfortable once you have them on, I’ll wear them less often because you have to seriously bend over and tug the straps to get your foot in, and I don’t have a high arch.

One slight complaint. I have a high instep and the velcro strap barely connects enough to say closed. Other than that I love the shoes. Just what I need for my upcoming hot weather vacation that will include some hiking and lots of walking.

This is my 3rd pair of Keen Rose Sandals and I have been buying other Keen shoes for years. These fit my feet perfectly and wear well for casual walking around town, etc. The last pair I wore for five years and the velcro strap wore out before the rest of the shoe. Support is decent and they do not hurt my feet in any way.
