So, I see a lot of people talking about how small these shoes are. I think I can help with that. I ordered a pair of these from Zappos for an upcoming vacation where I needed a comfortable shoes for a lot of walking. I got them and LOVED them. They fit perfect right out of the box. No tight spots, no rubbing, not too tight or too lose. I loved them so much, I ordered two more pairs from the company that owns Zappos. When they arrived I couldn't get my foot in either pair. They were a least a size too small if not more. I was so confused. They were the exact same shoes, I even ordered a second pair in the color of my original pair because I liked it so much. How could the sizing be sooooo wrong? I started looking at the shoes and discovered that the pair that fit me has been made in Thailand and the pairs that didn't were made in China. The pair from Thailand was better made, seemed to have better materials, and certainly were a more correct fit. I called Keen and was told that they have moved production out of China, and that shoes from China are older stock. So, if you get a pair that seems to be WAY too small check the box or the county or origin, you may be able to select another color and get a better fit. If you can get a proper fit, these are super comfortable shoes.

I have several pairs of keen sandals and I always wear the same size. These pair are so small my daughter who wears a full size and half smaller can not get her feet in them.

Super cute! Sadly, too small. And the non-adjustable strap at the ankle is too snug. A half size bigger would have maybe been better.

The shoes look really good and I wish they had fit better. The fixed strap across the instep is too tight and can't be adjusted so I had to return the shoes.

I couldn't get my foot into the shoe. Ordered 7.5. I'm usually between 7.5 and 8 size. If the ankle strap was fully adjustable I probably could get my foot into the shoe. I don't have high arches either. Returned the shoes

Saw these shoes on a friend and neighbor, and thought them cute. She said then were very comfortable, and great for camping and just general wear. Told me the maker, which I had never heard of; thought, I would have to search high and low. Surfing through Zappo's, which I am want to do, and there they were. Was excited to receive them. Tired they on immediately, and disappointed. Very hard to get on, the strappy front was very narrow. The Shoe overall is still very cute, but could not wear them. Phyllis must have a narrow foot, or at least narrower than mine.

The style is nice, but did not work with my bunion. I have several pairs of Keens and will return these and try a different style. I have three pairs of Whispers in size 8 and have been completely satisfied, bunion and all!

My husband and kids have worn Keens for years so I finally decided to get a pair for myself. I ordered these and the Whispers to compare. I am normally a 7.5/8 and did have to go up to an 8.5 in the Rose to get a proper fit. I thought they were equally comfortable to the Whispers and cuter IMO, so I returned the Whispers. I agree its a little annoying to put your foot through the ankle strap but once I was in it was comfortable. Haven't worn them outside yet as its winter.

I would have loved to keep these shoes because I like how they looked, their weight and even how they felt, except that the strap around the ankle was too tight. It has velcro on it but can only be adjusted tighter (not looser due to the fixed piece underneath). It would have been better to have made this a fully adjustable strap so people with wider widths could wear this shoe also.

Everybody’s feet are different so I am writing this review based on my feet. These are the best shoes I have ever owned. I have worn orthotics for years and don’t need them with the support I feel. Toes are covered so a fresh pedicure isn’t necessary. They even wash beautifully in the washing machine. Although I have big feet, my ankles are thin. The strap fits me perfectly and makes the sandal feel secure but if you have large ankles this sandal would not work for you. I ended up buying this sandal in four colors and wish that keen would make an enclosed shoe for the winter with the exact same design.

I've always thought covered toes were a good idea for a trekking sandal, but thought they were too bulky and ugly for me. Not these! Cute as can be and practical for walking through the woods, along rivers and the beach. Can't wait to go exploring in theses!

Got these for a trip in the tropics. Climbing, trekking walking. They are lightweight and very comfy right out of the box. Looking forward to wearing them in the outdoors. They are more attractive than your typical trekking sandal!

I normally wear a narrow width, but am able to wear this sandal thanks to the adjustable ankle strap. I especially like that this shoe has the look and feel of a sandal, but with a closed toe. It's well-made and sporty, but not clunky. The only downside is that I can't slip these sandals on. I have to adjust the straps each time, but I'm still very pleased with them.

Very cute and comfortable shoe, love the lavendar color. But due to the lack of arch support, I could see my ankles turning inward as I stepped. I have really high arches and a history of sprains. So sadly, back they go. I always wear a 7 with a wide toe box; Zappos recommended a 7.5 in this model, and it did fit.

The back heel strap has no way to adjust and rubs on my ankle. There is no way to just slide my foot in, had to nearly force it onto my foot. The footbed is just fine, but the heel strap is too short, or needs some elastic or velcro to allow a bit of give. Very cut shoe though.

I have probably owned 10 pairs of roses sandals and always loved them. The fit was perfect for someone with a bunion on one foot. But these looked odd when I took them out of the box....the front of the show over the toes was shallow, the straps were short and I couldn't even get my foot in the size that I have always warn. Very Disappointed1

I had another pair that fit great and had an adjustable strap. I actually have them on. I ordered a nine-foot small. Reordered a 91/2 and it seemed even smaller. The look is great but if they aren't comfy, I won't wear them. Sorry to say I think keens are going downhill. BRING YOU OLD ONES BACK, PLEASE.

Best sandal ever. Wore them through an entire trip to both Egypt and Italy. Essential perfect footwear. They can get wet, dry quickly. Amazing.

These Rose sandals are wonderful. SO comfortable, and they look cute with jeans. I hope, because they are on sale, they are not being discontinued! Keen, please don't do that to us. I saw the Naples sandal be discontinued and replaced with a much lower quality and very uncomfortable new version, and I desperately hope that Keen is not going to continue this trend. The Rose sandal has a foot bed with so much perfect support I can walk in them all day. In the cooler months, I even wear black socks with the black sandals, and it looks fine with jeans or black work-out pants. I bought a spare pair of these shoes in case I can't find them again, but I hope that won't happen.

This is my 3rd pair of the Keen Rose sandal...great for walking in the warmer months. Comfortable, good support and keep your feet from getting too warm.

I bought a pair of Keen Rose sandals several years ago and they were my favorite shoes. Great to walk in. Plenty of room for my toes, good support. Light and comfortable. I could walk for many miles in them & never had a problem. So when they wore out I ordered another pair and I am terribly disappointed. These shoes are not the same. The ankle strap is far too tight. My fourth toe slips out of the toe box. Now I have to find another favorite shoe! Ugh. Why the design change? Why not stay with something that works? I am returning them.

Overall a cute, substantial feeling sandal, but they were too narrow for my feet; sent them back.

I loved these shoes, but they were too short. Hope size up is better!
