Excellent service from Zappos! My first pair were too small so I returned them and ordered the next size up. Both shipments were very quick and documented expertly. Thanks for the great experience! PS the Frees are very comfortable and lightweight - my second pair!

These shoes are great. I have a pair of Nike Free Trainer 5.0's that I wear in size 9.5 but these run small and size 10.0 fits perfect. The heal cup fits very nice and snug and I don't have rubbing problems at all like the other reviewer. Fit very glove-like around the midfoot and heal stays very secure. I have more narrow feet and they fit great. Not sure if they would be as comfortable if I had wide feet. I've been wearing them everyday for casual use for the past month and I love them. Very comfortable. I've ran a couple miles in them a couple times and really enjoyed it but I don't want to wear them out so soon before I completely wear out my pair of Free Trainer 5.0's. So for now they are my walk around campus shoes. Seem very tough so far. My Trainer 5.0's split on the outside where the toe box flexes and there is a gap in the side walls (from pushing off lateral movement). The web pattern of material is strong and covers that problematic area and seems like I won't have that problem. (Although I haven't started using them for lateral movement drills yet). These are the shoes Morgan Freeman would design for Bruce Wayne.

Excellent shoe. Does run small. I wear 12, ordered size 12.5. Fits a tad bit snug even with a half size bigger, but not an issue at all. Would even suggest buying a full size larger.

Just wrote a review for the Nike Free 3.0 runners and this review is similar. Shoe is really form fit, but then again that's how a trainer should be. The only thing I would recommend is getting a half size larger. I normally wear a 10 in all shoes (Adidas, NB), but had to return for a 10.5. Other than that the shoe is great. I'm primarily a weight trainer and these work great for both weights (even squats/leg press) as well as for cardio as the are semi minimalist and keep your feet snug.
I'd also recommend:

This shoe is the closest I've found to replacing the Free Run 2, which I loved and Nike ruined with the Free Run 3. I had to buy a half size larger in this shoe (12 instead of 11.5). Their perfect for what I do, which is gym cross-training.

Uber comfy shoe once it gets broken in. Size runs a half size small I would say; more in the width than length. Color is bright!

To preface, I had purchased this shoe in an attempt to branch out from the Reebok hold on the CrossFit market. As someone who does HIIT, a shoe "minimal" type of shoe is optimal for the different types of workouts that can be thrown at you. If you are a regular gym-goer or runner, I would highly recommend these shoes. They are comfortable, light, and stylish (I have the electric green ones). I don't wear socks and my feet are mighty comfortable. That said, if you are into HIIT or CrossFit, I would recommend leaning towards the Reebok Nano or New Balance Minimus. The Nike Free Trainer 3.0 are decent in the fact that they don't have much of a heel incline. However, when doing a heavy lift (front squat, power clean, etc), I find there is too much cushion in the heel and have a difficult time generating torque from the floor. I have used the Reebok and NB in the past and would recommend those over the Nike's if you do CrossFit. Otherwise, for general gym purpose these would be great.

This shoe runs a little small, so I ordered 1/2 size larger. I usually wear normal cotton socks. The arch feels a little too high for me. They don't seem to breathe as well as some other shoes. On the plus side, they are very light and very flexible, and you can feel the ground well when you walk or exercise. I prefer the NB 797MX trainers for working out.

Typically I do not wear Nike's but since the New Balance MX20's were no longer the same as the ones I bought previously I opted for the Nike Free's. First and foremost they are narrow! I wore the original New Balance MX20's with no discomfort. However these Nike's felt very very tight. You can play the laces as I did by not cinching them too tight and they are actually comfortable. These shoes are low to the ground and are very good for cross-fit, lifting weights, or sprints. I would also size up to a whole size too. Typically i wear 10.5 and tried both 11 and 11.5 and the 11.5 gave me the best fit. Probably since it was so narrow.

Love this shoe. Really, really comfortable. Use mainly for walking and cross-training. Go with a larger size as everyone says. Only down side is my left heal squeaks with each step. I use orthodics so that might be reason but right doesn't do it.

Had to return my usual size because these were very small, even when I had a previous pair of Nike Free's that fit perfectly in the same size. The toe box was especially tight. Good looking shoe, hopefully a half size up will fit better.

Use these for running and crossfit. Fit is great. Very comfortable. Sole is too soft. Especially for lifting. Good shoe overall but i am going to get something a bit more stiff next round.

I can't usually wear Nike's because I don't like the arch support, but these shoes fit well and comfortably (in a half size larger than I usually wear). I thought I liked the bright blue look at first, but now it feels like they're trying too hard to look cool. Wearing them is a joy - they are so light. On the downside, there's something about the rubber on the sole that these shoes squeak non-stop when walking on my hardwood floors. I don't have this problem with any of my other sneakers, just these. So train with them & maybe look cool with them, but beware the squeaking.

I ordered all the Nike Free 3.0 and 5.0 Trainers and Runs in the search for a good shoe to workout in. This hug my feet the best and I felt the most stable when doing squats and lunges. If you are looking to do more impact/running activities I would recommend the Run 3.0

Very comfortable and great looking shoes, but the size definitely runs smaller than normal. Also, this is shoe is not for below that have relatively flat arches, as the arch is very high.

Just started using these shoes a few weeks ago...I was hoping they would break in a little more than they have (I wear them 6 times a week) but it is a snug shoe, so maybe get a half-size up. Also, I don't recommend these for people who have wide feet, they are pretty narrow. When working out, they are great for stability. Other than that they are extremely comfortable and they look great.

These shoes have a great style to them and I really like them. I didn't feel the comfort could be a little better, but overall this is a good shoe!

I initially loved these shoes. The style is on point, and they go great with my mostly black workout attire. Sadly though, they hurt like a... Well they just hurt. I have wide feet with low arches, and after my typical high intensity workouts (insanity, various cardio, etc.) my feet kill. Sometimes I have to stop halfway through my workouts to give my feet a break/massage. I thought it was because I hadn't broken them in, but it's because due to the graphics on the shoe has two layers of material that doesn't stretch where the widest part of (my) foot is. All aside, the shoes are cute so beauty is pain? I don't know if that applies at the gym though. If you have normal feet get them or maybe just up 1/2 a size? I really haven't had issues with Nike in the past with sizing.

I always wear a 11.5 in Nike. But after reading the reviews I went with a half size larger. I would say that I probably could have gone up a full size to 12.5. Pretty much what I expected as an all around work out shoe but not great.

The shoe felt true to size; however, it was very narrow. I have a narrow foot and have never had any problems with my Nikes. These shoes were for whatever reason very tight around the widest part of my foot.

These shoes are just way smaller than indicated. At least a full size smaller. Disappointed.
