I never tried the old Nike Free's so I can't compare them, but these are the most comfortable sneakers I own, so comfortable that I bought a pair for work and a pair for the exercising. I had to get a half size larger than usual.

Great shoe, same fit as the Free Run, just gives you way more stability. The difference between this Free Trainer and the 5.0 is day and night. They are soft very flexible and don't dig in to your forefoot like the 5.0 I got the red/black/volt colors and they are super sharp. Had to go up 1/2 size just like the Free Runs and they still look small on my feet. Great shoe from Nike at a great discount from Zappos. Huge fan.

I tried the Nike Free Trainer 5.0 but had to return them because they had an uncomfortable pinch where the shoe flexes (at the base of the toes). I thought I'd give the 3.0's a try because they didn't look like they would have that problem and thankfully that is true. I've only had them a day so my opinion is just based off first impressions. They are much more comfortable than the 5.0's. The tongue and heel fit much better and the whole shoe is very flexible (not as much as the Free Runs obviously) and fits like a glove. My feet are slightly wider than average so the only ever-so-slightly uncomfortable area is at the "big toe mound/ball". I'm guessing/hoping it will break in a bit.

Great shoe so far! But as another reviewer mentioned, it does have a tendency to dig into my heel so I've started to get blisters. The callouses will build up soon though!

Just got these shoes initially my big toe felt a little tight. The shoe itself felt tight all around but not in a bad way. I worked out with them immediately. Great comfort while running felt like a stiffer version of my beloved free runs, but that's exactly what I wanted. I needed a shoe I can run with and still be able to do strength training with good support. After my workout my big toe felt fine in the shoe. I think they stretched a little during my workout. I really liked them.

These are great shoes if you have narrow feet. I sized up half a size to make up for the narrow reviews. They are still too narrow for me. They would be good if the upper showed signs of being able to stretch but they just did not feel like that out of the box and too expensive to chance wearing them and not stretching.

I got these shoes because I thought they looked pretty cool and had better support than the Nike Free Run 3.0. The first time I wore them, I was very disappointed. The back of the shoe rubs all the time on the my heel. I think the shoe comes up too high on the heel. I decided to return the shoe because I didn't want blisters.

This has a sleek shape. It fits comfortably but it could use more base support. I bought a half size larger and it fits well.

Fits like a glove, which can be a good thing or a bad thing! If it's for comfort (walking around school, errands, etc.), you might want to go a half size larger. If doing it for a workout (I bought them for insanity b/c hit has side-to-side support), order your size.

I love these sneaks. They feel a little tight at first but are awesome to workout in. Very comfortable. I would order up 1/2 size.

I love Nike Free, I have been using them for around 6 years and these new ones are better than the first ones, I work out 5 times a week and my feet feel great, but before Nike Free I had sore feet but for 6 years my feet feel great, so I guess what I'm saying is buy the shoe - you won't be sorry.

I bought these for my son and he loves them. They were comfortable right out of the box and he wears them to school and for running. He likes that they feel light and are flexible.

Very stylish and comfortable sneaks. They have a really awesome laser styled exterior design. I really love the Nike logo on the back too. They are very comfortable especially due to the high flexibility sole and the lightweight design. I use them for everyday walking and have problems and have had no problems with them. Nice!

These are amazing in comfort and style. They run a little small; however, they're designed to fit like a glove. I'm a fitness freak and these shoes are great for light lifting and cardio. There is no need to break them in. Shoe arrives, and just hit the gym.. Plain and simple awesome shoe! And awesome service from the peps at Zappos!

I had never used Zappos before buying these shoes. I was beyond impressed with their service and the way my order was handled. The shipping was extremely fast and arrived the very next day. I ordered the wrong size so Zappos sent me a return label so postage was free AND they sent the replacement before I sent the old ones back so they would get here sooner. EXCELLENT SERVICE!

These have to be the most comfortable shoes ever, I did order a size larger and they fit very comfortably not too tight but not too big.

I like the weight and feel of these shoes and plan to use them as an all-around sport shoe - soccer with the kids, running, going to the gym, etc. The sizing is nuts; I'm normally a size 13 and had to go to 15! This doesn't make sense. I do get the sense that the back of the shoe rides hire and rubs on the Achilles tendon, but so far this hasn't been a huge problem.

I wear a 10 in most all athletic shoes, even other Nike styles. In this style I had to go up yet another half size to a 10.5.

The first thing I notice after putting these shoes on is how comfortable they are! Seriously, they feel great! But that may be because I've been using the same cross trainers for the past 3 years and am just now getting around to upgrading. Only issue is that the shoe is true to size, but because the tongue is sort of gusseted, it was a bit of a tight squeeze putting it on. But it literally wraps around my entire foot so it is nice and snug. If you feel this is going to be an issue, I would recommend trying on the next half-size up to make sure your foot doesn't get suffocated.

These are overall great shoes. The toe box is somewhat tight veritcally. The material at the front needs to be stretched out. Still comfortable shoes, but they need to be broken in for sure.

Super lightweight shoe, great for fitness boxing, aerobic, etc. A little snug on the top of the heel at first because of the heel angle but went away after break in. They feel like a glove!

These were a gift. The recipient said he loves them. They are lightweight and comfortable. I suggest ordering a half size larger than your normal size as the run small.

Excellent shoes. I find the Free Trainer 3.0 much more comfortable than the Free Run 3.0. The sole is thin, thus removing any discomfort that comes with many bulky "support" soles. Unlike the free runs, you can definitely feel the ground beneath your feet. If you wear a size 10 normally, I strongly recommend you purchase 10.5.
