This is my third pair of Rockport Cobb Hill boots. They are comfortable right from the box. I got two winter seasons out of my first two pairs and plan the same for this pair. Great for people who have flat feet, like me :)

These are great boots. They fit a touch snug out of the box, but became comfortable very quickly. I really like the zipper on the back, so you don't have to tie and untie them each time you wear them!

Comfort: These have been my most comfortable boot for the last couple of years. I don't do well with raised heels (joint problems in my big toe), but these rarely cause a flair up. They are great for standing on concrete all day and for walking hours at a time. I walk and stand a lot! Style: it looks like the mulberry has been discontinued, but I've gotten a ton of complements on my boots. So now it's time to buy a second pair. Quality: The leather is holding up great and I'm conditioning and waterproofing the leather. They have been fairly water resistant, and I haven't had a problem with Seattle rain and puddles so far. The heel is wearing down, but consistent with how much I wear and walk in them.

I was surprised that there was a fair amount of room in the toe box. These booties are very comfortable. I was able to wear them out of the box. I wore them to work and my feet were happy all day! I like that they zip up the back and do not require tying or lacing. The heel is perfect, not to flat and definitely not too high. There is a fair amount of arch support. I wore these with thin socks, but I think a medium thick sock would be Ok. I purchase these as a replacement for a pair of booties that I wore out. This was an excellent replacement.

These are the BEST if you have feet that are tricky to fit. Room for toes! Very adjustable and comfortable. I learned that New Balance is involved with Cobb Hill. No wonder. Comfort city! I need a 9W, however, and was hoping these black beauties would fit, since 9 is sold out. I am keeping my grey ones in 9 and am on the wait list for these in 9W in black.

These are true to size, have great arch support, and are amazingly comfortable. You can walk miles in these babies! This is my second pair. Best boots ever.

Been looking for subtle combat style boots forever and these are perfect! They are true to size. Unfortunately my ankles are medium and my feet wide so I have to deal with these being loose in the heel. They don't dig though- which is a plus.

What a fun boot! The heel is a bit shorter than I expected but that's fine by me. These look amazing with crop pants, skinny jeans, and add an edge to dresses/skirts. Exactly what I hoped for.

Excellent, functional, stylish boots but I learned that I (thank goodness) fit this in a C width, so I am returning these, which makes me bummed because this is the color I want and I had to get a different color in my size. If you have normal width feet, these should be amazing on you. They are worth it for comfort alone because, guess what, there is actual toe wiggle room in these, a precious and rare find in shoes.

I've a very hard to please back and my feet are finicky too: one old broken foot never healed to the same size as other foot, feet are just a smidge over medium width pushing me into the wide width zone, plantar fasciitis, sciatica, and a degeneratively bad back. All these things mean that I need good shoes. I have never found anything that meets all these criteria, until now. These boots are marvelous! I got the Stone color in my regular size and wide width. With the New Balance insole the boot has, I didn't need any break-in period. The only reason I didn't give comfort a full 5 stars is because the zipper on the back kind of rubbed my heel a bit the 1st day, though I've had way worse casualties from other shoes. I also find that I can't use just the zipper like I thought I'd be able to - I thought I'd lace the boots up the way I needed one time, and then be able to just use the zipper to get in and out of the boots. I find that I have to re-tie the boots anyway to get them snug. That's not a breaking point for me, though, because the boots are so great otherwise. I also have a wider calf, and I find that I can lace the boots up with the laces provided up until the last actual lace hole - I cannot use the hook at the top. If I want to lace using the hook I'll need longer laces, but I don't mind not lacing all the way up. The tongue of the boot doesn't have any gaping at the top between the tongue and the sides that lace, even with my wide calf, so that's fine too. Buy these shoes! I'm telling all my friends! I hope this exact style comes back next year in even more colors in wide width. And, Zappos is always wonderful to work with too. Thank you!

I have wide feet. These are comfortable,light, and soft.

This is my 2nd pair I wore my 1st pair out after 3 years and just about everyday wear. This are amazing and I look forward to wearing these out also??

Comfortable and stylish! Fit is perfect!

I just bought my third pair of these boots. I practically live in them all winter. I have neuromas & it’s hard for me to find stylish footwear with an ample toe box to accommodate orthotics. I walk a lot, so comfort is essential. The zipper makes it easy to put them on and off.

Booths felt true to size. I wear 11w. they are very comfortable. I wore them to work. I had them on for 11 hours.

Love these boots! I have a narrow heel, and a medium wide ball of my foot, so it is often difficult to buy shoes that accommodate my foot shape. This shoe feels AMAZING right out of the box. I have worn the boots three or four times to work and I am on my feet all day. My feet are not tired, and they do not ache at the end of the day. I purchased the Almond color in my usual size 7 medium. I am going to buy another color to add to my wardrobe. The only thing I don't like is that the leather has not been waterproofed. I purchased the stuff to rub on the shoes, but I haven't tried it out in the rain yet so I don't know if it will work. Not a deal breaker for me, just would have been nice.

I wear a 9.5W and these are perfect. Stylish and comfortable. Very roomy and not right across the toes.

These are the most amazing boots. The most confortable things I’ve ever had on my feet. I usually wear an 8 1/2, but got a 9 to see if my orthotic would fit. With the orthotic in, the boots are snug in the heel and instep, with my toes dancing happily around in the ample room in front. Make them in teal and eggplant, please!

My feet love these boots! I was looking for a black combat boot that wasn't too rugged or clunky and had a low heel. These satisfied my style criteria and are so darn comfortable that they exceeded my expectations. I'm older now and my feet need sensible shoes; I still want to have some flair. These boots aren't dowdy. Instantly comfortable, right out of the box. I am normally an 8 but preferred the fit of an 8.5. I wear them mostly with dresses and tights, but of course they also look great with jeans.

I have these in black and came back for gray leather. The color is almost taupe so I opted for the Becky which is a truer gray. Love the footbed and arch support in these shoes and I wear them daily from September to May in New England! I got my original pair 3 years ago and they are still going strong. Excellent quality.

Love these boots. I’ve got a wonky screw in my foot, but can wear these all day. That’s saying something. They work for cursing around the city and I can still kind of get away with them for work. I bought them in black. It’s a pretty true black.

Love, love, love these boots! I would have given them 6 stars. These may be the best fitting boots I have every worn. I do not need my orthotic inserts, the arch cushioning is perfect for my feet. I had thought by feeling with my hand that the insole felt hard, but it does not at all. I wore them all day the first time. The leather and the lining are wonderfully soft. I just hope they hold up. I have never had boots with a zipper, as I've always worn cowboy boots. Another reviewer mentioned the leather of these boots scuff easily. I imagine that is so, as it is wonderfully soft. Polish. People used to polish their shoes all the time. I have already coated these with Kiwi brand mink oil, which is helpful to keep the leather protected in rain.

This is a fantastic boot. I normally wear a 10.5 wide. Since they didn't have that, I went with 11 M. I pulled out their nice padding in the bottom and put in my orthotic. With wool socks, my feet are totally comfortable. My ankles are warm and my toes have room. Thank you Rockport.
