Color is not gray, but very much a taupe. I think if the leather were distressed, these would look better and be more versatile, but as they are they don't work with anything I own, so I am returning them. I love the shoes and already own them in black. I was hoping to get a another color.

I recently purchased this shoe in brown and wanted to take a look at the Almond color. The shoes I got were more like a slightly lighter brown and not this golden color shown in the pictures, very disappointing.

Likes the design of the shoe. Comfortable in the toe box area. Unfortunately the heels was too loose and hit high up on the back of the foot. Sadly I had to return.

The shoe was stiff, my foot slipped at the heel which doesn't normally happen, and there wasn't as much arch as I expected. Unfortunately I returned them.

Using the fit guide, I ordered the same size I wear in a New Balance shoe. Disappointed when it was at least 1/2 to 1 size larger and too wide. I normally wear a 8 narrow in New Balance. That size in this shoe was too big. I will be returning. Just not sure what size to order.

These shoes are very well made and extremely comfortable. I wanted to wear them with jeans and wheat color slacks. When I tried them on they looked long and not right for the look I wanted. I do have to say I have a big foot...size 11, so that is the only reason I sent them back. I loved the quality and light weight of the shoe and they fit perfectly. They just didn’t look right with anything I tried them on with. I am not blaming the shoe - it is just me and my big foot.

I liked this shoe. Ordered in black 8.5 WW. It was ok.

I really wanted to love these cause they look great, well-made and the leather is beautiful. They are very slippery and a bit stiff so I'm returing them. The stiffness I may have worked around but the slippery bottom is out, for me. I purchase in the Bark, which was a great shade of medium brown. The width was a little narrow for my wide foot ( in the toe box).

This shoe felt lightweight and almost like an "earth" shoe, whereby it felt like it slanted down in the heel a bit. I would have had to put a gel heel insert inside for it to be comfortable enough. The leather was soft, which was nice. It did have a good fit, true to size for my hard to fit size 11 feet! In that respect, I always have luck with the Rockport brands. I simply felt that they were not substantial enough.

Really wanted to love these shoes but even in a 9 wide, they were a little too tight across my toes and the material looked/felt too stiff. A little dressier than what I was looking for.

This shoe looked a little clunky and the navy was not a true dark navy, but a little lighter, slightly on the gray side. It was not a comfortable as other Cobb Hill shoes I have worn. So I returned it. But I love Zappos and Cobb Hill. Will definitely order other Cobb Hill shoes again.

First off this is the most comfortable shoe I have ever tried on. Hands down. Based on comfort only, I would own every color of this shoe. The problem is the style. On my 7D foot, this looked like a mans slipper. I so wanted to love this and keep it but at age 56, I'm not ready to give up.

I ordered a pair in narrow but this shoe was very wide especially in the heel. I had to return it.

The insoles are not removable - the description was inaccurate. Sadly, I couldn't even get my orthotic in these shoes to try them on.

These were comfortable. They showed up under orthodic-friendly. The insoles are not removable, so they did not work for me with my custom insoles.

These were not at all what I was expecting. Slipped on nicely, but the sole is very stiff, and rounded so I feel like my foot rolls in as I walk. Maybe would be better if broken in for awhile, but I had to return them.

Having a few foot and body issues I was looking for a very stable full coverage shoe to wear with dresses this winter. I liked the cute styling for this plain black slip on. I've worn the shoes three times but only one full day to work. I found that the shoe is not an all day shoe (I work at a desk) as my feet were killing me at the end of the ten hour shift. In fact I could barely walk by time I got home. Despite all the reviews I read these shoes don't have any arch support compared to what I usually wear. Having worn them before learning they are terribly uncomfortable at ten hours (but OK at three hours) I had to keep the shoes as they are OK for short length's of time. I just cannot wear them on my long work shift.

The style of the shoe is okay. But I returned the shoe because the back of the shoe is too wide. I cannot understand why shoe manufacturers assume that anyone who wants a wide shoe also wants a wide heel. Hello: Women don't have wide heels. What a disappointment. I'll never order a Cobb Hill shoe again.

This shoe fit in the length but the heel seemed wide. The shoe slid up and down with each step so blisters were bound to happen. This shoe is well padded on the inside for anyone who needs a soft insole. That is part of what I am looking for so I am not happy about having to return them.

These shoes are adorable, but too wide for my narrow feet. I did notice that their narrow said (A), rather than (AA). The length felt true to size, though.

Love the comfort! Ordered another in a second color. But get something for odor control if you are going sockless. The synthetic liner in the upper makes my feet stink. I have to wear hose with them to avoid this. The comfort factor is worth it, though.
