I love these shoes...I have them in blue and needed a wider pair after having foot surgery, but the shoe on my "good" foot is just too large, so back they go. Will repurchase when my blue ones wear out!

Love the shoe for dance and gym. Not cushy enough for running. Mine seems like the shoe stretched a half size after wearing it for a day or two.

I use this shoe for my weight training regime which is similar to crossfit. I have relatively high arches and have no issue with support in this shoe. I am either a 9 or a 9.5 in most shoes and in this shoe, I am a 9.5 -- tried the 9 and returned it. I would recommend this shoe for lifting/training/crossfit.

If I could walk around barefoot, I would. Since I can't, I went with these. I'm glad I did! They are so light-weight and comfortable. I am able to wear them for walking/jogging.

Love these shoes! I was just goings to use them for the gym but I also use them outdoors. They are great with or without socks. :)

I wore these for the first time yesterday for my TRX bootcamp class. I wanted something that provided good stability for weights/strength training, but also could be used to do light cardio in. When I first put them on, I thought they felt a little strange as they provided quite a bit of support laterally, almost to the point where it felt like they were pushing my feet outward, but to be fair I have been wearing minimalist shoes for the last 6 months (Merrells, with basically no support anywhere) or so to do cross training in. I have found that the Merrells aren't quite the right shape for my foot and I was sliding around a bit, so I started looking at other cross trainers and did quite a bit of research before I bought anything, but I kept coming back to this New Balance model. While I don't plan on using these NBs as strict running shoes (I have some Mizunos for pure running which are phenomenal), they were very comfortable in between exercises when doing our cardio drills; they felt super lightweight, gave me moderate support throughout my arch but hugged my feet just enough so that they didn't slip around. I would feel comfortable doing light cardio in these and feel as though they would offer good support. I absolutely love the Vibram soles on any shoe, and to be honest that was a large factor in my decision to buy these particular shoes. The Vibram soles really help prevent sliding, give you good traction on any surface and are extremely durable. The floor at the TRX studio was recently redone and it can be a little slick -- I didn't slip, slide or budge once while wearing these. I also liked the way they fit snuggly and molded to my feet and supported, but didn't feel too small or uncomfortable in anyway. Overall -- this is my first pair of New Balance shoes, and while I've only worn them once and can't attest to the durability other reviews have, I can say the are very comfortable and I did notice a difference in my workout. They are also nice looking shoes and come in some spiffy color options. I got the Dazzling Blue and they're gorgeous in person. I'm very pleased!

At first when I received these shoes, the shape was unusual and when I tried them on was not sure...but they are for sure the best, lightest, most comfortable shoes I have had for my exercises classes I take. I can move around easily and they don't feel heavy or cumbersome on my feet, would definitely buy them again...love them.

These colors are amazing but these are VERY minimalist. I was looking for a crosstrainer for the gym, various classes, light weight lifting, jumping, etc. but these are very minimalist and I needed more support. I wish I could keep them, they're very lightweight/breathable and colorful but if you need crosstrainers with support, these aren't your shoes.

Really lightweight, and I love the blue color! The regular width were quite wide and I have only slightly wider than average feet. However, too short! I typically wear a size 6 in all shoes, but the 6 in this was just a tad too short. Will have to return for a 6.5, hopefully that fits better.

I bought these from the New Balance store, where I went so I could be fitted for a foot that is wide in the front and narrow in the ankle. At the time I was having a large amount of pain in my right foot. After purchasing, I subsequently discovered I had a fractured sesamoid bone that was causing the pain. During my treatment, I didn't think I would be able to wear these shoes ever again because they are so light and feel like they are hardly there. I thought with a damaged sesamoid that I would need a much thicker sole to protect that area. In the end, I got super light amazing custom orthotics from my doctor that go perfectly in these shoes. At the moment, I am really not comfortable in any other shoes besides these. I have not tried to use them for sports activities (only walking), as I am still healing, but I do recommend them and today I am on Zappos trying to decide if I should get another pair either in the same color or another color. I normally wear either a size 8.5 or 9, but the 9 is what fits in this brand.

These shoes fit great! I loved the color. The thing that bothered the heck out of me was that the toe piece is off center. It makes the shoes look silly - super silly. I couldn't keep them.

Love these shoes. Fit like a glove. Because they are lighter weight and more flexible, they are great for travel, just took them on a trip and went hiking, walking and some light running. Good cross trainers. Cute neon accents without being over the top neon. My feet run on the wide average side and these worked great.

Got these shoes for my girlfriend for crossfit and she loves them. They're especially good for lifting and squats, but she really likes them for box jumps as well as it feels like her foot really connects with the ground. I ordered a pair for myself just to check them out and they have a nice, wide toebox, but I already have a pair of shoes I'm happy with for crossfitting, so I'm not sure if I'll keep them. Either way, if you're looking for a shoe that is more suited to lifting, this one is an excellent choice.

I love these shoes. They are light weight and very comfortable with good arch support. I was not going to order them because of the hot pink laces, then figured out I could order another color lace from the New Balance website. Too bad NB doesn't include a second color lace with these shoes that would appeal to the less flashy customer and would probably sell a lot more of these shoes that way.

These are great all purpose shoes for quick runs and weight lifting. I use them for crossfit - they are so comfortable, they are the next best thing to barefoot. Very happy with them! I have wide squarish feet, so I got the wide - they are perfect. No rubbing on the toes, but still good support through top of foot with the laces.

I love these shoes! They are uber lightweight but offer good support and I have worn them constantly since I got them. They won't replace serious hiking boots or walking shoes for long hikes, but are great for everywhere else (I am not a runner so can't address that). They are a tad roomy in the toe but not so much that I trip. I have a very small foot, a size 5 if I am lucky, and am finding a lot of 5's suddenly seem bigger. But again, these work. And they are cute too.

I just got these shoes and I just love them. The fit is great true to size and as a running shoe I love the light weight and the nice support. I am finding that I really love the lighter weight runners and trainer. I find I am able to run further and longer. But I just adore the look of the shoes. These shoes are really cute. I hope to see them in other color combos and would purchase them again.

Really wanted to like these shoes. Nice and roomy in wide, light weight, cute, and good lateral support for side to side motion. Unfortunately, I have collapsing arches and the arch in the shoe is very firm and sits up very high, digging into my foot very uncomfortably. Had to return them.

I really wanted to love this crosstraining shoe, because of the lower cut ankle area. However, the 9.5 was like a clown shoe on me but in the 9 my toes touched the end. I would have liked a little more support too. Cute style but the sizing seems strange.

I have these shoes in three colors. That said, I do not like them as much as the older style as the sides do not give as much support (hence 3 stars for comfort). However, they are light; it's just that I have very difficult feet. I buy them large so I can insert my orthotics. I use them for everyday wear and for training. Obviously I like them -- I bought three pairs.

I purchased for my cross training. I hate wearing socks so I was excited to try...My first workout I went barefoot and it was not a good...shoes didn't breathe and my feet were extremely hot and sweaty. Next session I wore socks and it was much better workout and the shoe fit and felt better on my feet! I really do like the shoe..it works well the lifting part of my workout routine...Also love the look and fit of the shoe!

I was so excited to receive these shoe and when I put them on, they were so light and felt great with just enough support. Upon working out with them the right shoes heel dug into my heal causing it to crack open. I had hoped with further use, it would break in but continues to do the same thing. I have never worn a shoe that one of them has done that, so not sure if it is flaw on this one pair.

I purchased these shoes when my husband and I started the P90X3 workout. The workout stresses not to use running shoes. These shoes look great and give me great stability for the jumping and side to side movements of the P90X3 workout.

I bought these shoes to wear during cardio kickboxing. They are lightweight and very cute. I got the pink and black. My previous experience with martial arts was done barefoot, so the last six months kicking while wearing clunky sneakers has been somewhat awkward. These feel more natural. These definitely run small (the wide width was okay though). I saw other reviews where people recommended ordering half a size up. I am an 11W and apparently women's feet do not come in half sizes after 11, or I would have done just that. I did not want to risk buying 12 and having them be too big, which can be dangerous in an active environment. I wore them for the first time to a class yesterday, and soon realized that the toes on my (slightly) larger foot were hurting, as if they were being squished by a too-small toebox. Which, as it turns out, they were. The other foot felt fine, though. I will note, however, that I was wearing athletic socks. Next class I will try thinner socks or eschew them all together and see if that helps. I am also hoping that the uppers will break in a bit.
