Use these for doing Insanity workouts and love them. Great for any type of cross-fit like training. I did go for a short run on a treadmill in them and would not recommend these if you plan to do a lot of running, but a great show with a great comfortable fit if you are doing cross-training.

I purchased these for my son to wear to school and at marching band practice and he plays snare. He really likes the style and function of these shoes and has received many compliments. They seem to be holding up fine.

Awesome shoes. Use them for lifting/squatting. Has good contact with the ground. I also like how light they are. They seem to be very well built though I've only been using them for a few weeks. The fit is snug but not uncomfortable.

Very comfortable, lightweight shoe that fits like a glove. It was a good fit when I first tried them on, but after a couple weeks they seem to have molded to my foot. I don't run in them but they are also great for walking my dog around the neighborhood and running errands.

Very comfortable and light. Feels different than regular tennis shoes. They made my arches feel sore, but not during the run. I will continue to buy this type of shoe for the foreseeable future.

This is my second pair as I alternate them. It has a wider toe box than Nike which I appreciate. It's light, really lightweight and has held up to both Crossfit and Oly lifting. I will definitely recommend and would buy again.

After making sure that I was getting the right size by printing out an at home measuring chart I went ahead and ordered these in the wide, and WOW. These are my most favorite shoes I've ever had. They fit perfect, are almost like not wearing shoes at all, and look great. It took a bit to get them broken in but now they are insanely comfortable. The only thing I've noticed is that since they are black they make my feet get hot when in direct sunlight but that's a given. I hope these are still around when I need another pair.

After wearing down my previous pair of workout shoes, I decided to return to New Balance for cross-trainers. As a guy with large and wide feet, I'm usually never disappointed with NB. I am supremely happy with these shoes for their lightweight build, flexibility, and overall comfort. I would definitely recommend these shoes to anyone who wants a lightweight, functional, and stylish sport shoe.

I purchased this shoe for my husband who does cross fit type workouts. He said these shoes are perfect for his workouts and are an amazing improvement over wearing his old running shoes. The only thing I don't care for is that the sole of the shoe is white and it does not stay white. A lite grey or orange sole would of made this shoe perfect.

These are probably the best shoes I've ever worn. I prefer my shoes to be as light as possible and simple. I used to only wear Vans but I've now become a huge fan of New Balance based on these shoes alone. I will be buying again for sure. The best part of these for me is that I can wear them for 12+ hours of standing and I don't have any foot pain as with regular shoes. I've had them for about 3.5-4 weeks and they haven't stretched out like other shoes in the same category. These are not used for working out for me, just casual. They work with pants and shorts so I don't feel goofy wearing them either.

These shoes are awesome. I wear them at the gym, riding my bike, hiking and even to keep my feet ventilated on long distance drives. I haven't had them for super long, but I've already washed them in the washing machine a couple times and they come out in perfect condition. Great comfort and stability as well.

I could not be happier with these shoes. They have a great barefoot feel and the blue/yellow color looks great! I use them for running and strength training at the gym.

This is my first minimalist shoe. It's very light and thin; at first it seems flimsy compared to a typical cross-training shoe, but so far my pair has held up well. These shoes are not for everyone, especially those who need support and cushioning. But I'm very happy with them. They fit my running style well, and I've been pleasantly surprised how well they perform as cross-trainers, even in sports like tennis that require a lot of stopping and starting. I feel very spry on the court in them, although I do feel the impact after a couple of sets. I'm very happy with my purchase and recommend this shoe to those looking for a minimalist cross-trainer.

I wear these on 20+ mile rail-trail hybrid bike rides. The trim form, wider width, and lightweight are great features. I added a separate arch support. I would buy these again for this use.

Outstanding shoes! They are light, strong, and breath. They fit my 67 year old feet that are slightly wide (EE) and have recovered from injuries years ago. I use them for workouts several times every week.

Prior to this shoes I was wearing the NB M730 which a roomy toe box and very flexible sole. The toe box on the MX20 isn't quite as roomy but is still comfortable and adequate. I love the styling of this shoe. Build construction seams great so far.

I love these sneakers...they are so light on my feet that I feel I'm running on air. I was already acclimated to this type of shoe and this was just a replacement for my worn out pair.

I love these shoes! Super light and very comfortable. I was also glad to see that the pair I got was made in the USA (another reason I like New Balance over Nike).

Just got mine after waiting and contemplating. I love them! Very stylish and lightweight. Definitely going to buy a second pair so I can wear one to workout and the other for whenever.

I have worn all 3 versions of the MX20 from NB. I wear them for runs (2-4 miles), lifting, and cross fit. They are fantastic. The grip on the bottom of the shoe is way better than previous versions, so when lifting on a wooden platform, running on grass, or doing box jumps, I feel very secure. Just enough heel cushioning to keep the landings soft, but I still felt very close to the ground. When doing agility and changing directions, I did not blow out of these shoes (a problem with the MX20v2). The sole is considerably wider at the base of the ball of my foot. I have a very high arch and this shoe gave me no problems. I still give softball lessons for a living and am constantly catching for my pitchers. These shoes are flexible and perfect for any movement.

Needed to purchase a new pair of shoes for Crossfit and everyone told me to try to the Reebok Nano 3.0 (I have always been a minimalist fan). Ordered the Nano 3.0 but they were not comfortable, my heel kept slipping out and they felt heavy. So, I ordered these and love them. Light, durable and plenty of support (just like my old ones). Highly recommend for active athletes and anything Crossfit.

This shoe perfectly fits the shape of my wide feet. They are very lightweight with a good gripping surface.

Owned a month. Use it for working out with a personal trainer 5 times/week. Extremely lightweight. Comfortable. I think i have slightly wide feet & D size fit great. It's like wearing a sock with a comfortable sole. I only use indoors to keep them clean. Mesh on top is slightly see through. Recommend grabbing some black "no-ankle" socks or go bare foot.

Any big men with a size 15 shoe looking for something to crosstrain in, or specifically in my case, crossfit in, knows the woes of most shoes stopping at size 14, leaving us doomed to sift through the non-mainstream, often unreviewed choices. I have to say my shoe search is finally over for as long as I'm sticking with crossfit and in need of the right training shoe. Very comfy and supportive for how light they are. Very responsive, I feel super connected to the ground for weight lifts, and fast on the track. NB did a phenomenal job creating a jack of all trades shoe. I strongly endorse these as I've never taken the time to review any product online.

Love this shoe! I have tried several brands of the barefoot/neutral sole variety and these are the best so far. I even bought a second pair for when these wear out.
