I was disappointed with the shoes structure and fit. I'm very active and participate in Jazzercise 5-6 days/week. After wearing a week, I had numerous blisters, and was frequently tripping due to uneven and odd texture of the sole. The width of the heel of the shoe is much to large. My foot was constantly sliding around inside the shoe, to the side and front and back. I tied the shoes as tight as I could, but then that created discomfort as my foot would still slide and the arch support was then pressing on the in front or behind the inside of my arch. The shoe also did not have the flexibility to point or flex my foot. But the colors are fun and the for mundane walking, the shoes are very comfortable and supportive. But if you need to articulate precise, sharp movements, this is not the right shoe style.

Run a little small and not as comfortable as my last pair of Ryka. If I had tried these on in a store I would not have purchased them. Due to shipping delays they arrived the day I left for a trip. By then it would have been a hassle to return.

Cute, but not the kind of support, stability, and cushioning of Nike and New Balance. Returned and was delivered over a week ago, but still haven't received my refund.

They were way too narrow (I had gotten wide ones). Had to return. Bummer.

I really wanted to love these shoes as I got them specifically for Zumba. Unlike most running/gym shoes they were super stiff and uncomfortable the first few times wearing them. I gave them a chance to break in but I’m just not feeling the love. I wish I could return them. They rub in weird places like on the lateral aspect of the ankle and just don’t feel great for jumping around in for an hour. I used to wear super thin-soled new balance shoes for Zumba which they have discontinued. So I guess I am still on the hunt for a replacement. Oh and aesthetically they look kinda dorky too (imho).

I googled best sneakers for jazzercise and these Ryka's came up as #1. I found they did not have enough support and or arch. Also the inside of the right foot kept hitting my ankle, extremely uncomfortable for jazzercise.

I have been buying Ryka Devotion athletic shoes for years. I read several reviews ranking Ryka Influence shoes among the top ten shoes for aerobics, so I thought I would give them a try. I have worn them for about six weeks. Within the first week, I developed plantar fasciitis. I started using orthotics, thinking that would help. It does not. I have to stop using these shoes. I spoke with two other women in my Jazzercise class who both purchased the Ryka Influence women's athletics shoes, and they BOTH developed plantar fasciitis and stopped using the shoes. I am going back to Ryka Devotion. The Ryka Influence are narrower in the heel, and that provides great support. My toes do not ride forward and hit the front of the shoe, which is really good. I think the problem is that there is not support for an individual's arch or heel for high impact aerobics. There is not enough cushion. This causes too much stress and creates the potential for plantar fasciitis. I should note that I have never had plantar fasciitis before--I believe it is completely the result of these shoes. Additionally, there is too much traction--these shoes are noisy and squeaky on the floor, and they are "sticky" making it very hard to pivot or slide on the floor.

Comically small. Ordered a half size bigger than I usually wear, & wide. These were marked the size I ordered but could have been a child’s shoe! Perhaps just a dud pair, but seriously....

I am on my third pair of these shoes. I use them for everyday wear, alternating with a different pair of shoes and not doing a ton of walking (a mile a day max). My first two pairs lasted about a year each before developing holes. This pair has only lasted four months. I’m really disappointed. I love these shoes - they’re comfortable and fit amazingly well - but I can’t keep paying $75 every few months to replace them because of cheap construction.

I have been wearing these shoes for the day to break them in. I am finding them to be extremely uncomfortable, as there is zero cushioning in them. It feels like I am walking on wood blocks. I have contacted the company in hopes they would be willing to work with me on returning them.

Cute shoe but is just a tad narrower than the Devotion in the forefoot, just about where my bunion comes into play. The padding/cushion is about half as thick as the Devotion. I can't feel any arch support. Just for reference, I ordered a size 5.5 wide and it just wasn't big enough in the forefoot. At the widest part of my foot, it's a tad over 3.5 inches. If you need/like a lot of cushion underneath, order the Devotion.

I have been wearing Ryka shoes for about 15 years now VERY loyally and the last two pairs I have purchased have not been up to the same standards. I am disappointed in the recent quality. It's like Ryka has changed manufacturers. The ball of the foot cushioning is not good at all. Usually this product is great for dance and aerobics but I am not finding this to be the case sadly.

These run at least 1/2 to a full size short. Felt stiff with little or no cushion. I am currently wearing the Ryka Sky Walk for the gym. Those are very comfortable and true to size. For reference, I typically wear a 9 in sandals and a 9 1/2 in gym shoes.

Wore these once for zumba. They seem to have good support, but even though I ordered the 7 1/2 wide they are too narrow and hurt my feet. Unfortunately they will be going back. I have ordered one other pair of Rykas in a 7 1/2 wide and they fit fine.

I don't usually have a problem with arch support, but this shoe didn't seem to have any support. Otherwise the fit was good, and that is really the only reason I returned the shoe.

Ouch! Uncomfortable right out of the box. The top of the shoe is incredibly stiff and places pressure on the toes when flexing. Nothing like the other Rykas I’ve tried. On the other hand, friends of mine love the shoe. Bought for Jazzercise.

These run very small. My toe was against the tip of the shoe. I'm so disappointed. I ordered the same sneaker 1/2 size larger but the toe bed was too wide making me feel I had to really tighten the laces hence lots of wrinkles ... obvious to anyone that the shoes were too wide :(

Very good looking sneaker but the toe box was too wide. I felt I had to tie the lace very tight to feel safe in the shoe which created creases. Returning and feel disappointed.

The front part of the shoe where your toes and ball of foot goes, is bigger than my other shoes and there was an uncomfortable fold.

I've had Rykas in the past but hadn't bought them for a while. I read the reviews about the wide toe box and liked the style so thought I'd try. The toe on this shoe is pretty "pointy" and narrow...my toes were cramped. They also felt like they wouldn't last long overall. I could be wrong on that point, but they just wasn't what I was expecting.

I was looking for a step aerobics shoes. I had not worn this shoe, so I ran the "Recommended Size" query. I ordered the size recommended. Since this is an "athletic" shoe, I felt I needed to walk at least a mile to test the fit. Now I know that the shoe is too short and overall too tight. Since I have "test walked" them, they cannot be returned. Very disappointed. Now, re-reading the current (2018) reviews, I see that others have found that the foot bed must have been changed recently. The current "size fit" reviews should be incorporated into the Zappo's fit recommendation.
