These pants are just not for everyone. I am 5'4" and 135lb and they bunched terribly in the front/crotch area. I had them set properly, but they are just not meant for a woman with more hip or rear. This is a bummer as they are advertised as being for all women of shapes and sizes. Disappointing.

As a Veterinarian, work can be wild and messy. These pants are perfect for the casual professional who doesn't sit down. They move with me, are durable, and clean up great.

I didn’t realize that these were defective until I ordered directly from PRANA.
EVERY pair of the four pairs of this style I have ordered from Zappos has a side pocket that is sewn shut. However, when I started ordering DIRECTLY from Prana’s website that side pocket actually is meant to zip open and they do!!! Zappos sells defective items and it is not that they can’t be worn but they are inferior due to manufacturing defects.

These pants are awesome! I’m 5’6”, 123lbs and ordered the regular length but found them a little too long. Got the short instead and was perfect. They stretch with your moments and are not at all binding. They do loosen while wearing them but do not lose their shape. Love them so much I have them in 4 colors!

These pants are seriously the CUTEST hiking pants ever! They are a relaxed fit but still give my booty some shape, as well as the tall length being perfect for my long legs! These pants look so great on, I bought a second pair in a different color!
I bought a 0T and I’m 5’7 and 125 lbs, I typically wear anywhere between a 0 and 2 depending on the brand!
If you’re on the fence, just buy them! BEST. PANTS. EVER!

These are one of the very few hiking pants that fit reasonably well, roll up for a shorter version, wick very well, and are stylish enough to wear on non-hiking occasions. I love them and have them in three colors.

The fit was a generous 4, and 4 is my usual pant size. I tried the 2, but I don't like snug pants. The color, cargo, was really nice, and it goes with a lot of other colors. I also bought the charcoal color. They are very flattering and they roll up to capri length easily and are secured with a snap. I am taking them both on a trip soon.

I bought these for an Oregon football game in the rain. These are Scotch guarded pants and so repel the water. Didn’t get much more than a drizzle but seemed to work. The style is super cute and flattering for short legs. I’m right between a 30-32” inseam. These are perfect. They are loose fitted so I ordered a 2. I’m usually a 4. Should have ordered a 0. They’re still great though. A lil scratchy on the material and still loose otherwise they’d have gotten all 5 stars. I’m 5’7” and weigh 136 with an athletic build (read big butt and thick quads) ??

I can see why the Halle Pant is so popular... they are the best hiking pants I've tried. They are super comfortable and dry quickly. And they have a weirdly magical fit that looks good from the back. Neat trick on pants that are a relaxed loose fit pant. I'm not a hiker, so I can't speak to their suitability for trails. I bought my first pair for all-weather dog walking a few years ago and am hooked. I have two or three pairs now. Love the olive green and the grey. They are holding up well, no rips or stains. They also breath better than you'd think the fabric would, and I don't find them to get sweat-stinky in hot weather like some synthetics. As for sizing, I wear my usual size and they fit well, not baggy or tight. The draw string in the waist helps with this, I can cinch them up a bit in the waist. (Fit info: I'm 5'5", 130 pounds, waist 27', hips 39. Halle pant = Size 4, length R/32. They are a little long, but the S/30 inch pant while it fits, looks a little funny on me. My dress size is 4, jeans size 27.)

I love these pants for hiking and running errands on cool/cold wet days. Water runs right off and they are dry in no time at all. Very comfortable waist under back packs. Drawstring at waist keep them up and comfy on my curvy body. I do a lot of scrambling and never have to worry about damaging the pants or my skin underneath! I size up from a 6 to an 8 in all Prana styles I'm 5'5", 128lbs and 60 years young. I like and need room to stretch and extend when climbing and scrambling rocky terrains. Love the shorts too! TIP... reinforce the 2 buttons as the metal wears through and you will loose them.

I just ordered these and PrAna's Meme pant.I am 5'7 and about 140 pounds and I normally wear I 6 in pants which is what I ordered for these pants. Both pairs of pants ran true to size but the cut of the meme pant were just a little too tight around the hips. The Halle pant was a pinch too big around the waist but was super easy to adjust. The fabric is a little crunchy but too noisy and I tend to be a fan of skinny pant not boot cut but these actually fit really well and are probably the best bet for hiking/travel pants. So happy with them.

Fantastic hiking pants - have the Monarch convertible which are made with the same fabric and love them as well. Stretchy, and super comfortable - these are excellent hiking and lounging pants. I have the cargo green in a size 0 - am 5'4", 120lb. My Monarchs are in a size 2, and fit well too - just a bit looser.

Awesome pants. Just what I'd hoped they'd be! I'm 5'11 and can never find pants long enough for me, but the size 6 with 36" inseam was perfect. I typically wear 36" inseam jeans and they usually just touch the ground when barefoot; these touch the ground and are maybe an inch too long which is fine with me. The size 6 is perfect for me (29/38 waist/hips). The pants are flattering and allow total freedom of movement for climbing, hiking, lounging, etc. They are even structured enough to roll up without having to use the snaps which I don't really like. I can just roll them up a couple times and go. Love them!

I love these pants, they look great and very comfortable. I am 5'9", 126 lbs, so I got size 2 and 36" inseam, they fit perfectly, maybe just a little too long, but it's better than too short, so I am not complaining.

These pants are great for hiking and camping. They stretch out quite a bit through the day so don’t worry if they feel a little tight when you first put them on. I’m 5’2” and 118. The 2 Short was the right size.

These pants are high quality and well made, but the I didn't like the low rise and wide boot cut of the leg. I also got the Columbia Saturday Trail pants to compare, and they had a higher rise and a straighter leg. I thought they were more flattering and professional-looking (I got these for a work trip). I am 5'5" and 135 pounds, with a curvy waist and hips. The 8 fit well.

I have not worn these pants yet so I can't comment on durability. I like the fit, true to size. I like the bit of stretch in the fabric. I am 5'1" and even tho I ordered the short, still had to shorten them 2". As other reviewers noted, the pockets are really not sized appropriately for much use. For me, the rise was a little short but I guess that's what mid-rise means. There's a little dart at the knees which I suppose will be convenient if needing to kneel down but because of that, it makes folding them for packing a little wonky and the fabric seems to wrinkle pretty easily if that's a concern. Overall, I'm basically pleased since I'm not a hard-nosed hiker, just wanted something durable for trips where I'll be outside walking in different weather conditions. So, time will tell.

These are great for travel, very comfortable. They wash and wear nicely. I am 5'5", 120 pounds and size 4 with 30" inseams fit perfect. I bought the regular length previously and had to hem. Pockets are a fairly good depth. I haven't used the zipper pocket. I like the leg looser like these, easier for moving around. I didn't feel they stretched out with wear like some. Very nice.

Love these pants! If you are like me and do not have much for a butt these fit great! They do run small. In the Prana Kara jean I wear a 4 or 6 depending if I want them snug or just a little loose. In these pants I wear a size 2. I am 5'7" tall and 115-120 lbs. The little bit of stretch is perfect. I bought these for a trip to Iceland as they are water resistant and it rains a lot there! The only reason for the 4 stars on overall is that the snap on the tabs to roll the pants up broke right away. I now know to be very careful when unsnapping the tab. I bought these in 2 colors I liked them so much.

Very cute pants. I'm 5'2", 120-125 (big muscular butt and thighs) and ordered size 2. I initially ordered the short 30" inseam and they sat about 1/2 and inch of the ground. I like a little slouch to my pants so returned them for 32" instead which I like much better. Although I can see them getting a little wet on the bottom if I'm walking on wet ground. Oh well! They sit a little better on me at regular length!
A couple things I didn't like: the waist was tight on me. Once buttoned it felt constricting. Everywhere else is fitted but not skin tight. And the green color doesn't look as pictures. It's more of a dull army green rather than a nice vibrant, saturated army green...if that makes sense. So instead I went with the lined version in coal to use during the winter.
Overall very cute, although pricey.

Great and flattering pants. Material is durable but comfortable. I wish they came in 34" length - 32" is too short, 36" is too long. But I wear the 36" and it works. I have to use a belt because my waist is much smaller than my large rump, so the internal drawstring is more of an inconvenience than help. I've had several comments on how nice they look- great for going straight from hike to dinner and I've even used them for dressing up a little. I love the insulated version as well (wore them all winter in Alaska as regular pants). 5'8" 160#, wear a 10 Tall.

These pants seem to be an old style from many seasons ago. They flare at the bottom like they were ski pants to go over boots. I don't mind wide legs and these were slim legs to a flare which aren't really a great style currently. I'm usually an 8/10 and the 8's were too small on the hips. I feel like it's probably time for Zappos to retire this style. They are nice material and Prana is a quality brand, but out of date (and not just like 1-3 seasons).

I bought these pants because I already own 2 pair in other colors. I ordered the same size in a new color, snd although the tag said the inseam was a short, or 30”, it was wrong, and measured 32”. I didn’t find this out until i wore them, so i’ll just have to hem them. Seems Prana quality control is not what it used to be. Check the size, no matter whst the tags says. Zappos, however is always the best online shopping experience.
